our contract was even signed. We had a very specific view of how we wanted our wedding to be, evoking an old 1930’s Hollywood vintage. Because of this, we had very specific requests involving symmetry and lighting that would have required a very specific technique, and Miranda went out of her way to make it happen. She paid the utmost attention and care to all of our requests, giving us photos evoking a glamour and style that you would swear were taken in the era. She gave us exactly what we asked for. As for the actual wedding, she is just the person you’d want being around you during your special day. She’s professional, competent, and organized. She’s also so much fun you’ll want to be friends with her. Honestly, she’s the best of the best, and we would hire her again in a heartbeat.

We also hired our videographer from her recommended vendor list & while we still haven't seen his finished product yet, we loved him too & you could tell the two had worked together before & had a really solid flow going on. The fact that she came with a 2nd photographer and an assistant meant that no moment or detail was missed from getting ready with those closest to us to closing out the dance floor. The final product continues to amaze and make me smile. The editing and bright tones she chose showcases our truest and best selves. OVID hit she sent out a list of options BEFORE we even thought of having to postpone. When we ultimately made the decision to postpone she was super supportive and made us feel at ease. She even sent us a candle to make us feel better. The morning of the wedding she showed up early and ready to go. She was so wonderful with me and my girls, it honestly was like having another friend there helping to capture the moments. She was great during the bride and groom portraits, and wonderful with my family. She even got my dad to smile, which is NO SMALL FEAT! My ring bearer (18 month old nephew) was not having the best day and was very suspicious of photos, but let me tell you that didn't deter her, she did her best to get him at his best. Miranda conducted a full pre-wedding interview with us to learn more about us and our style. She collected tons of info and came prepared with lots of sample pictures so we could narrow down our style. During our wedding weekend, Miranda showed up full day early to scout out our location, taking the time to plan out the perfect indoor and outdoor shots since the forecast looked grim. After planning the perfect shots, she joined us at our rehearsal dinner to learn more about us and our families. Even before we started our formal wedding portraits, both of our families were overwhelmed by Miranda's incredible personality and attention to detail. She brought these lights and sparklers as props that we used and by the end we were so comfortable with the camera. She sent us some "sneak peeks" of our shoot the same night (helping us look like superstars!) and sent us the rest of the pictures 2 weeks before the window we expected to receive them within. spoke to the day after immediately said how amazing Miranda and Mike were, and how it seemed like they were in every place at once! Due to Covid, We had to replan our wedding with 5 weeks notice. It was chaos for sure. Her assistant Sara stepped up and took charge, she went above and beyond to help out with the little details so I could focus on getting ready and getting pictures. I was afraid that in all the chaos, we wouldn’t be able to capture all the best moments. But, Miranda was like a ninja, and just by the sneak peeks I saw she captured it all. I can only imagine what the others look like! Miranda you're so insanely talented and I'm actually so happy that 2020 happened. You have a gift. An amazing gift. You give people a gift that will last their lifetime. This is no doubt your calling and I'm so happy for you that you're pursuing this full time because you are meant to do this! My husband doesn't love getting his picture taken, however Miranda knew exactly what to say to coach him through pictures. She was also great at working with children - we had 6 nieces and nephews and she was patient with all of them! All of guests commented on how un-obtrusive she was during the wedding & reception - you wouldn't even know she was there, yet she captured EVERYTHING!! I cannot stress to you enough that you should absolutely hire her! We absolutely love our pictures and are so happy she captured our special day!!

as going to be small, our only vendors were a photographer and videographer, so we did a lot of research before selecting Miranda. She completely exceeded our expectations. We knew where we wanted our ceremony, but we were still new to New York City. Miranda really went above and beyond to help us choose locations for our group and couple photos, and she helped us work out our timeline. She knew all of the hidden gems around DUMBO, and we had a blast exploring our neighborhood. Our evening schedule was perfectly timed with golden hour and the sunset with the city in the background. As someone who is generally uncomfortable getting their photo taken, Miranda had us relaxed and laughing the whole time. She really excels at getting the candid shots that happen between "formal photos." Not only did she help us relax and have fun, but she really captured the essence of that day. I look at the photos now, and I can remember exactly what that moment was like. She did such a great job capturing the goofiness of my husband and his friends. Plus the moments with us and our dog are just perfect. Miranda got every crazy, adorable, face that our dog makes, and her little puppy dress! Both times working with Miranda, (engagement and elopement) we received sneak peaks within a day. We actually received our full library of Elopement photos within ten days of the ceremony. As you can probably guess, they were perfect. Everything was edited in a way that completely matches our style, and there was a great blend of shots. Group, individual, pet, black and white, moody, formal, candid. We even had a few magical long exposure shots that are stunning. We absolutely recommend Suess Moments for all of your wedding photography needs. Not only will you get great shots, you will have a great time.

ess. From the start she was in constant contact with us. Making sure she had every bit of info that she needed to give us everything we wanted. And oh my, did she deliver! We filled out her questionnaire, letting her know what our likes, dislikes, wants and needs were. We didn’t have to think, we just stood were she told us to and smiled when she said smile. We knew we were in incredible hands. She was able to capture my wife’s group and my guys before the ceremony. And got every perfect shot during, she was a dang Ninja out there. It was extremely impressive. I’ve never seen a photographer work more efficiently. And that’s just her work ethic... The pictures..... Oh My Goodness! Miranda’s eye for photos, outstanding! Again, we didn’t have to do a single bit of thinking. She had already planned out every shoot spot at the venue. We went were she said and posed when she said pose. We got our sneak peak photos back and my wife’s face was glued to her phone screen for about 72 straight hours. She could not stop looking at every single one. They were absolutely stunning! And those were just the sneak peaks! We cannot wait to receive our finished photos. Miranda has absolutely blown us away with her talents and professionalism. The images were beautifully captured and I received so many compliments. Her pictures captured how me and my husband are when we’re together which was super important to me, it was so natural and easy. ready. Sadly I found Miranda on instagram after the fact. Her insta was glorious to me and I “kept wishing and wishing...” (Snow White reference lol get ready for more) that I could have her. A photographer who’s portfolio was hitting the marks of what I envisioned, a portfolio that’s personal, beautifully candid; a portfolio where you can feel the moment captured through the photograph. All I could think was “look at this stuff, isn’t it neat, wouldn’t you think her collection’s complete...” (The Little Mermaid reference). At that time my husband and I were “poor unfortunate souls, in pain, in need...” (The Little Mermiaid reference), money was dwindling, we had canceled the package deal, and so many other things were going array. However, we agreed to at least contact her and see. Cinderella said “If you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true.” I had so much “faith, trust, and pixie dust” (Peter Pan reference) in Miranda’s work. From following her on Insta, looking at her site, reading reviews, I couldn’t help but pray hard that she would work with our budget. BEST DECISION EVER! Miranda is everything you want in a photographer. Her Disney lover enthusiasm was a serious bonus! Plus, her price was perfect for giving us what we desired. There was no settling needed and honestly the whole experience was worth so much more. I also love that even when emailing her, I could feel her sweet personality shining through. During the entire process Miranda was personable, reasonable, loving, prompt, detail-oriented, and so very kind. She asked all the right questions and made room for us to voice any concerns we had. At one point she texted me to see how I was doing and of course I was stressed out. She was the grandmother Willow to my Pocahontas in that moment. As a person who was mostly clueless to wedding arrangements, I could use all the help that I could get. The wedding day itself was slightly unruly. I didn’t have time to check if everything was okay with her. However, I knew i could count on her. There was so much happening that I didn’t get to meet her in till the ceremony was over. Even then I could feel her wonderful personality singing “you’ve got a friend in me...” (Toy Story reference). Truly from beginning to end, it really felt like she was my friend. Miranda’s photo session with us was one of the best parts of our wedding day, without a doubt. She gave us everything we wanted and more. Original ideas, iconic poses, perfect communication, and willingness to even listen to my ideas during the shoot. We aren’t much for modeling but she directed us like every professional should and as you can see, they came out perfect. We’ve suffered from low self-esteem all our lives and that was one of our biggest concerns. We’ve always hated photos despite others’ opinions of it. But we can truly say, when we look at her photos we feel beautiful and we love them. We can promise you that without a doubt in our mind you’ll be singing “Hakuna Matata” (The Lion King reference) for your photography if you choose Suess Moments.
