Our cake was so cute! Trisha is highly professional, and, in our opinion, has the best tasting wedding cakes in Ithaca. She created a four-tiered cake with white fondant, embossed and hand-painted with flowers. It was beautiful and tasted delicious!

Working with Trisha was a perfect experience from beginning to end . . . with delicious and beautiful cakes and cupcakes delivered on time, as expected, with Trisha on the spot to decorate the cake with fresh flowers and arrange the cupcakes on the tiered platter. A flawless experience form beginning to end; I highly recommend her both for her service and attention to detail from initial contact to final delivery!

I met with Trisha to book her for my wedding. Everything was great at the tasting and she said she would send me a link to PayPal so I could pay for the tasting and then mail her a check for the deposit to secure her for my date. She emailed me a summary of the order we discussed, but no PayPal link. I emailed her when I got home to ask about the link to pay for the tasting and the address to mail her check to. She never responded. I followed up two more times and have never heard back. She completely ghosted us. No explanation. None of my attempts to contact her were returned. We drove over 2 hours that day to be able to meet with her for the tasting just to have her disappear. I'm glad she didn't take my money and disappear, however, this is inexcusable. I would never recommend her to friend because I have no reason to trust that she will follow through. I do remember that she mentioned during our meeting that I should get the deposit to her quickly because another person recently inquired about the same wedding date. My best guess is that she got a more expensive order and ditched us. Either way, that is terrible business etiquette. Not only did I waste my time driving to meet her, but also waiting on her response when she never intended to fulfill my order in the first place. If you're looking to hire a baker, do yourself a favor and keep looking. I'm sure there are many more trustworthy ones.

The cake was exactly what I envisioned. It was delicious and eaten up! I loved the grooms cake too.

Trisha is so good at what she does! Not only did our wedding cake look beautiful, it's tasted incredible as well. With all the details involved in planning a wedding, it was so awesome to hand this one over to her, knowing she was going to do an amazing job. I 100% recommend Sugar & Slice for any event cakes you may need!

Trisha made helped make our day special and was able to fill our unique request for an ombre cake! Loved working with her. Everything was delicious in addition to beautiful.

Trisha was outstanding. My wife and I had a colorful request, but definitely needed some help coming up with a design that both made a statement and was cost conscious. Trisha was extremely patient and took time to rework our design several times. She was great at listening to and integrating both of our visions for the cake. Whether it be a late night or a weekend, Trisha was available and extremely helpful. It was the best surprise walking down to see the vibrant and beautifully elegant cake- wish we could have caught her before she left to say thank you in person. Her cake was outstanding in appearance and taste, and our guests all enjoyed! The cupcakes we also had to compliment the cake were outstanding- not one was left to bring home :( . Overall, we couldn't have asked for more, and we were so happy we choose Trisha to add a little sweetness to our special day!!!

Sugar & Slice was recommended to us by our reception venue and we were so lucky to have been given the chance to work with Trisha. Not only did she completely understand our vision for a simple, elegant, timeless nature-inspired cake, but she even went as far as creating a filling for us that I had asked for but that she hadn't ever used before. And it came out AWESOME and so much better than I could ever have hoped. She was super communicative and totally reliable and produced a gorgeous cake that everyone loved. You can really tell that she loves what she does not only by the way she talks about it, but by her attention to detail. I hope someday we have kids so we can have her make a multitude of cakes for us :)

Trisha did such an awesome job with our wedding cake. Hers was the first, and only, tasting we did in our search for a baker. All the cakes and icings we tried at the tasting were delicious, we almost got a larger cake because we couldn't decide on final flavors! I loved that her frostings weren't overwhelmingly sugary. Day of, the cake was very tasty. No worries about whether the cake would get there on time or anything like that. Everything was all set and perfect when we got there. We brought some of the leftovers on our honeymoon, and even a few days later the slices of cake were still good. Would definitely recommend!

I found Sugar & Slice after another baker cancelled our appointment for tasting. I was quickly impressed with how fast all my questions were answered and when me and my fiance went in for our tasting I was even more impressing with how amazing everything tasted. We knew right away that we had to have Trisha make our wedding cake. But honestly my fiance didn't want to wait that long and to my surprise he ordered my birthday cake from Sugar & Slice. You should have seen the face on our guests face while they were eating it PRICELESS. Some of them couldn't stop, they went back fro second and 3rd pieces. Fast-forwarding to our wedding day we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful cake. 4 tears all different flavors and tasted even better then it looked. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUGAR & SLICE to anyone who wants an above average cake. If the WOW factor is what you are going for look no farther.

Trisha is helpful, knowledgeable and very talented. We hired her for our wedding and once we had our plan with her, we were able to just check "wedding cake" off the list knowing well that we could trust that she would take care of the rest. Even on a hot, humid day, Trisha showed up with the right amount of time before dessert for everything to look beautiful and taste out of this world! I can not recommend her and her cakes/cupcakes highly enough. Congratulations! You've found your cake vendor!

Tricia worked with me on every detail I envisioned for our wedding cake - beautiful hand-piping decoration, fresh and local raspberries and currants, delicious alternating chocolate & vanilla cake and buttercream frosting. She was a joy to meet In person and easy to contact with follow-up emails. I couldn't be happier!

I found Trisha’s name from Google or one of the wedding websites. I read a few reviews and decided to reach out to her. We set up a time (very last minute, which we greatly appreciated), when we were in town to go over a few options for cakes and pricing, since we had just moved out of state. She was beyond our expectations! She answers emails very quickly! She took our ideas and ran with them. I showed her a picture of a white on white tiered cake and gave her the creative freedom to go beyond that picture. Our brother in law is highly allergic to nuts and although she couldn’t not guarantee that it was 100% a peanut free kitchen, she took every precaution to ensure that he would feel comfortable eating the cake without a movie moment like in “Hitch”! Our cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed it! I loved working with her so much so that I surprised my hubby with a groom’s cake at our rehearsal dinner, especially designed with his three favorite things, NY Giants, NY Mets and Virginia Tech. I would highly recommend her for any event and specially to make your wedding cake! It was a pleasure.

5.0Sandra Wilson Oh my gosh!!! It's the wedding picture I keep going back to!!! Absolutely gorgeous cake...and delicious beyond belief!!! White cake with almond buttercream filling and vanilla buttercream outside. We all wished we could have had cake for breakfast the next day! If only I had ordered two!!! Trisha is a delight to work with and so beautiful in her pink chef's jacket. If I had to do it over again... One I would have ordered more in order to have had leftovers, and two I would have asked Trish to stay and serve it...she is so delightful! Wish I had gotten a picture of her delivering it...amazing unveiling!!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed that the photographer did. And nota single bite of cake or icing G was left on the guests' plates...simply too scrumptious! And this picture is now the wallpaper on my phone!

Had a great time working with Trisha for our wedding! She made beautiful and delicious cupcakes that received many compliments from our guests. She was friendly and responded quickly to questions, and made the whole process easy. We could not have been happier with our choice of cake vendor!
