e date, so we had time to explore options. Billy stayed flexible and accommodating. As our date got closer, Billy and our maitre d' Helene were very helpful. They ran our day-of planning and saved us a ton of money in hiring a coordinator. Once the day arrived, all we had to do was enjoy our wedding and Sugar & Spice took care of the rest. Our guests loved the food and we had a really amazing time. Thank you so, so much.

From our very first conversation with Billy he was extremely knowledgeable, flexible to our needs and patient with all of our questions. He took the time to understand what we wanted for our big day, made suggestions and was always willing to hop on a call to chat through things with us. Our tasting was excellent and he really set the stage for what was to come with the food that was going to be served. As our wedding got closer we had a walkthrough with our maître d', Brandon, at Locust Grove. He took the time to walk us through everything from wedding and ceremony setup and logistics, to cocktail hour flow and our reception timeline for things like dances and speeches. He answered all of our questions (not to mention the random questions that came to mind in the weeks leading up to the wedding) and gave really sound advice and suggestions for how things should be set up and structured the day of. On the morning of the wedding Brandon was immediately in contact with us. Naturally, I anticipated some questions to pop up throughout the day but, to my pleasant surprise, there were none and I can honestly say that everything was set-up perfectly. The reception room looked beautiful, all the signage was where it needed to be, name cards were taken care of, memory photo table looked great, etc. etc. Beyond this, Brandon and staff also did an amazing job coordinating with our DJ for the ceremony and he was incredibly attentive throughout the entire evening (checking in on us for drinks, ensuring we had food from cocktail hour, double checking on some logistics, etc.). As we went around to talk to guests every single person we spoke to raved about the food and I can honestly say, they were not wrong! Cocktail hour was amazing; the food was delicious, fresh, well prepared and everything was beautifully set up. Dinner was served on time and was just as great as it was the day of our tasting and dessert went off without a hitch! Tremendous thank you to Billy and the whole team for the great work they did!

I called him all the way back in September 2020, almost a full 2 years (COVID engagement) before our actual wedding day. The moment we talked through my vision I knew I was working with an expert in the craft, and the kindest human being. These two things kept things moving and warmed our hearts through what can be a stressful process again and again. In the weeks leading up to the wedding we worked more and more with Brandon who is an absolutely super hero of a human. Brandon is organized, has fantastic communication skills, and works to get every last detail from the timing to the decorations to the people movement absolutely perfect. People kept telling me “be prepared for things to go wrong” but you know what, they DIDN’T. The Spice team works tirelessly to keep people’s glasses full, their appetizers bottomless, and the timeline flawless. If you’re on the fence, do yourself the favor to just sign with Spice. A direct quote from one of our guests was “there are good weddings, and there are excellent weddings, but this wedding might be one of the best ones I’ve been to.”

g with Billy is amazing as you really feel that he is there for you throughout the whole process. He would constantly check-in to see if we need anything and worked with us to design an unforgettable menu. Any issues that arose were delt with swiftly by their team and all of the staff there on the day of the event were kind and helpful. Additionally, their prices were more than reasonable allowing for us to add extras and still stay below competitors' prices. They really go the extra mile and make you feel like your wedding is the only wedding they will ever work on. Can not recommend it enough to anyone getting married or having an event in the Hudson Valley!

eard we were in need of a caterer from a friend and we are so glad he did! They were always available by phone, text and email to answer our many questions. We truly felt that they wanted to make our wedding day everything we’ve ever dreamed of. Brandon worked so hard to set up all of our decorations just as we wanted them. It rained the majority of the day before our ceremony. They were willing to make a game time decision and quickly set up for an outdoor ceremony when the weather cleared up. Our family and friends have been RAVING about their food since the event. There was not a single thing that they made for us that we didn’t like. Their staff were professional and hard working. We would not have been able to get through the wedding planning process without them. Thank you!

They understood the demographic of our party and advised us on the menu which was very helpful because we wanted everything! We had a cocktail party rather than a sit-down dinner which gave guests the freedom to mingle (and saved us from assigning tables- also something I'd do if I were getting married again!). The food was DELICIOUS- I can't say enough about how scrumptious it was. My only regret is that I was chatting and missed a few of the passed hors d'oeuvres :-( While we loved the delicious food, having a seasoned caterer to advise us and help plan/manage the event was priceless. The party wouldn't have been nearly as successful without Andrea and the wonderful staff- they are pros!
