We chose to serve the white wine chicken, brisket, all the sides, and a white almond single-tier wedding cake. Our guests just raved about how delicious the white wine chicken, brisket, and loaded potatoes were! Our head chef (Jason) was amazing! We had a family friend bake the sheet cakes for our guests, but Jason cut, plated, served the cake on top of all the other tasks he was doing. I would recommend Sugar and Spice Catering for any and all events!

Their food is amazing as well, I will always recommend them for any catering needs because they are just so good. For them it is not all about the food and desserts, it is truly making the couples happy, giving them what they really want and building a friendship. welcome we felt. They supported us through two reschedules and were communicative the entire time and helpful with our modifications. We had chicken diane, roast beef with au jus, loaded mashed potatoes, southern green beans, corn, salad, and rolls. If you give them an accurate guest count, you will have PLENTY of food. At least a third of our guests went back for seconds and there was still a ton of leftovers. We trusted S&S with our cake cutting and they did an amazing job. They also helped us by making sure our top layer was safely moved to our cake saver. MUCH APPRECIATED! The crew that served at our wedding were on time, answered all of our questions, were dressed professionally, and made sure our guests had everything they needed. I cannot imagine doing our wedding without S&S and we look forward to having them cater any events we hold in the future. THANK YOU!!

nd had 5 different tastings, and S&S was my favorite hands down. They did my sister’s wedding 8 years ago and their cake is just as good now as it was then. My wedding guests raved about the cake and had multiple pieces! ALL of the flavors they offer are to die for. We had 4 different flavors because we just couldn’t decide on 1! We will be getting an anniversary cake from S&S because it’s just that memorable!

It wasn't until a couple of weeks before the wedding that I sent them some ideas of what I was thinking and she informed me that they would have to up charge for what I wanted even though we had already discussed in the meeting. I rented my tablecloths through her, and even though her normal supplier didn’t have the right color she found someone who did! Everyone raved about the food! The mashed potatoes were out of this world. The crew even stayed until the end of the night and took the tablecloths so I wouldn’t have to worry about returning them to her! And the cake was BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS. It was exactly what I wanted. The S&S team was all around fantastic, and I’d recommend them to anyone!!

for our reception. They gave us a lot of advice, but were also open to new ideas to make the meal perfect. For example: I had always wanted to have mini pies as a wedding cake alternative and sugar and spice experimented with their pie recipe and made the mini pies work perfectly!

We had the white cake with the sweet icing, and then the red velvet with the cream cheese icing. Both were absolutely delicious! Our guests had many compliments about the cake too. Rebecca, the new owner of Sugar and Spice, was kind enough to let us borrow a cake stand as well. She was really easy to work with, and was able to provide us with the perfect cake. I highly recommend getting your wedding cake from Sugar and Spice!

Since we didn’t need full-service due to our small guest list, Larry and Jennifer delivered and set up the food at our home while we were still at the chapel getting married. When we arrived at home, everything was beautifully displayed and ready to go! Pricing was also very reasonable. refore busy but maybe that means she shouldn't be our point of contact. We booked them and put a deposit down, we contacted them about getting tasting options. When we first met with them we were told to give them a list of things to try. We looked over some of the typ. menu items and ones we wanted to try and sent them a list. We waited a week or two and heard nothing back... Finally I called and got the main cook who took down the items we wanted & he told us when we could come get them. We showed up that day (to Jennifer’s surprise) and they put together a group of to go boxes for us. They were not at all what we asked for. I'm certain they were just whatever they were preparing that day for other events. So we tried the things they gave us & we found some things we liked & thought we were making progress. We emailed them a list of the things we liked & some other things we might want to try but more or less had a menu figured out. No response. More emails… phone calls. Nothing. Finally a full month & a half of emails & calls with no response, we found a new caterer. We called to fire them and lo & behold, a response! We were given some excuse like our file never got switched over from prospective to client or something but this was MONTHS after hiring them, emailing them & having talked to the on the phone, gotten food from them & oh yeah, paying them a deposit. We promptly demanded our deposit back, which we received & went on our merry way with another caterer. Working with Sugar and Spice gave us huge headaches. They clearly need to hire someone who simply deals with communications because they are more than just terrible at it.
