Sugar Coated Cupcakes

Sugar Coated Cupcakes bartended our wedding in Mill Valley at the end of July and we felt so taken care of by LQ and her team of two wonderful bartenders the whole day. They were incredibly welcoming, kind, and superb consummate professionals to all of our guests and we were so grateful that our limited budget was sufficient to allow us to work with such an expert, skilled, experienced and just plain wonderful, kind, and warm team. LQ reassured us throughout the entire process, especially on our prep calls with her. We had no experience with drinks for an event of this scale and LQ guided us thoughtfully and patiently from start to end. LQ was kind enough to make time well in advance of our wedding to connect with us multiple times and build a drink list (with appropriate quantities) that reflected our values (our beer, wine, and hard seltzer were all from vendors of color). LQ also went above and beyond in helping us transport our beer and wine closer to the venue. We initially bought and stored our drinks closer to our home in Berkeley, but in order to remove any stress of transporting our own drinks to the wedding venue, LQ drove all the way from Elk Grove to pick up our drinks and store them at their storage facility! LQ was so kind to provide this service and made sure that all the drinks were ready to go on the day of the wedding. Lastly, LQ and her team set up a beautiful, outdoor bar area at our wedding, complete with signs and everything. The bar was located exactly where we discussed during our prep call. LQ and her team ensured that folks were served warmly and professionally throughout the evening. She and her team also took special care of us throughout the entire evening, knowing how the wedding couple may not find enough time to grab a refreshment for themselves–she even helped to reserve some drinks and food for us on the side! LQ also brought along some extra recycling bins so we wouldn’t have to worry about any trash. We cannot recommend them enough bc they were so perfect, and we look forward to trying out their cupcakes in the future! :)
