Penny's talents, professionalism, and Sugar Couture as a whole are as amazing as it comes!
Penny created and made my wedding cake for our October wedding and it was delicious in a way that has made me wonder how many special occasions I can ...possibly have so I can order more cake from Sugar Couture! Cake tasting with Penny was one of our favorite parts of the planning process--Penny is an amazing listener and artfully intuitive. She knows her stuff, is organized, and made the cake planning process amazing and seamless. We had dreams of a tiramisu wedding cake, knowing it wouldn't be possible for the amount of our guests (we wouldn't want something so yummy collapsing under the weight of all that espresso!). But, she worked with us to create a cake that made our dreams come true--an espresso dipped cake with alternating flavors of espresso and vanilla buttercream. It was so good that even typing that description makes me sad I can't run to Williamsburg as we speak for another cake.
Know how most people keep a portion of their wedding cake for their first anniversary? Wellllllll....we took the top tier home, yes. But, we ate it all within a few days after our wedding. It was just far too good to imagine it with freezer burn a year later--but if we're being honest here, it was too good not to eat it all then and there. Alas though! I have already contacted Penny about making us a mini cake for our first year anniversary! Sugar Couture is where it's at--go with Penny and trust me, you will not be disappointed!
