From the very beginning, Riddhi worked with us through hours of planning meetings, paying incredible attention to detail and helping us bring all of our unique ideas and cultural traditions, from two different backgrounds, to life. With so many moving parts, large crowds, and multiple events, their organization and preparation made everything run smoothly and on time, which is so difficult to coordinate for Indian weddings.
During the wedding weekend, the day-of coordinators (Riddhi, Nami, Puja, Navya, and Shivangi) went so far above and beyond. They handled vendor communication, ran countless errands, solved last-minute problems, printed ceremony programs, set up small details like fans for guests or event posters, coordinated our large families and wedding party, and so much more that they did behind the scenes to keep everything flowing seamlessly. They were constantly hyping us up and supporting us, and by the end of the weekend they truly felt like family.
A huge shoutout to Sahil and Viraj for the DJing at our Reception, Sangeet/Garba, & Baarat; Sahil and Rishi for MCing the Reception/Baarat; and Surya for bringing the energy with the dhol! Extra special shoutout to Sahil, who is a big brother to me, for making the dance floor absolutely unreal-hands down the most fun we’ve ever had! Sahil perfectly blended Bollywood, Tamil music, and American hits in a way that kept the crowd dancing the entire night. His MC style is so energetic and engaging that it felt like being at our own private concert, and our guests are still talking about it!! He is so beyond talented & the exact energy you need at your events!
We also highly recommend the content creation team from Sweet Little Things (Puja, Rachna, and Jasmein). They captured so many behind-the-scenes and intimate moments that we will cherish forever-moments that traditional photo and video don’t always catch! They are also so kind, loving & hype you up constantly! They're the perfect energy you want around you during your wedding weekend or any important event!
What makes this team so special is not just their talent and professionalism, but how much they genuinely care. From the first planning stages to even after the wedding, they were there for us every step of the way. Puja (Lead) and her team of coordinators (Nayva, Rachna & Aimee) made sure that our entire day went by extremely smoothly made sure we had little to stress about, even ensuring we, as the couple were fed by bringing us food and water to our rooms and making sure we had enough rest and energy to enjoy the whole day. We were also running ahead of time the whole day and received multiple comments from guests about how this was the best planned wedding they’ve been to.
Puja also played a proactive role in helping plan the events of the day and coordinating with all vendors ahead of time to make sure they were aware of all expectations. When the hair/ drapery stylist had a last minute delay, the Sugar team stepped in and got the bride ready.
We had heard from so many couples previously that they and their family couldn’t fully be present in the moment and enjoy themselves on their wedding day, but thanks to the Sugar team we were able to have the best day of our lives.
For anyone on the fence, we can confidently say that this is one of the highest ROI investments you’ll have in your wedding planning! We highly recommend working with Sugar events.

Planner: We went with the partial planning option where we would primarily do the work of connecting with and choosing vendors initially and Riddhi would manage the coordination a few weeks before the event. (Note: there is a full option where Sugar Events would do the work to pick the vendors as well).
Riddhi met with us very early on and helped us come up with a planning timeline of when we needed to finalize on what items (decor, food, photos, guest list, etc). She also gave us invaluable feedback on the day-of timeline and was a good sounding board for a lot of our decisions. We had no idea that our vendors needed as much time as they did, and we would have been in hard place were it not for her expertise.
For day-of planning, Riddhi talked to all of the vendors and the venue to co-ordinate setup and tear down timelines a couple weeks before the event. On the day of, she made sure everything ran on time, coordinating family and friends, and making sure we didn't have to do the work ourselves. She also made sure we were fed and were having a good time.
DJ: Sahil met us with before the event to understand what kind of music we would want to play at our wedding and when. In some cases we asked for very specific songs to be played, and in others we asked him to pick something in a specific theme.
During the day of, Sahil was the MC, announcing important information and running the reception program. He has done many of these and knew how to keep the crowd interested and energized. He also was the DJ for the dance floor and did a phenomenal job. The music was great and also fit what we wanted. He also went above and beyond and added a few things we didn't even ask for, like letting us pretend to DJ.
Overall, both Sahil and Riddhi were fantastic. They made us feel at ease, and took all of the work out of us and our families' plates, letting us just enjoy the event. We will be recommending them to all of our friends.

Honestly I don’t even know where to begin — because how do you put into words how grateful we are for Riddhi and the entire Sugar Events team?!
My husband and I are both big-time ...
planners and love doing things our way, so handing over control to someone else was definitely not easy. But the second I found out Riddhi and her team could come to Colorado Springs for our wedding, it felt like this giant weight was lifted off my shoulders. I knew I was in the BEST hands… and I was 1000% right.
Riddhi helped us plan every little detail and made sure all our vendors were taken care of. She handled everything behind the scenes so we could focus on enjoying the process and not losing our minds (lol). There were rituals and details about our wedding weekend that we wouldn't have even known about if it weren't for Riddhi, she killed it for the final 6 months leading up to the wedding. Then when it came time for the actual wedding weekend — Nami, Puja, and Navvya straight-up crushed it.
They made sure every event ran on time (which felt like a miracle), kept both our families looped in on all the things, and somehow made chaos look chill. Nami especially was such a calming presence — she handled a bunch of random fires behind the scenes and never let it reach us. I literally don’t know how she did it. She's tiny but she's an absolute beast, definitely not one to be messed with!
Navvya was my husband’s go-to and Puja (literally the biggest blessing) was mine — and I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without her. She made sure I was fed, on time, hydrated, not crying (lol), and just feeling good. She also doubled as our content queen and captured so many amazing behind-the-scenes moments that I would’ve 100% forgotten otherwise. She made everything fun and relaxed for us and the bridal party and was just such a vibe the entire weekend.
By the end of it all, it didn’t feel like we had a planner and her team — it felt like family. I legit wish we could do the whole wedding over again just so they could come as guests and actually party with us (even though they totally snuck in some dance floor time 😂).
Everything was executed so perfectly, and they gave us the most beautiful wedding we could’ve asked for. We’re beyond grateful and obsessed with this team. 100000/10 recommend Sugar Events to anyone planning a wedding — they’re the real deal and the best hype squad ever. Love you guys so much!!!

nd had a very down to earth demeanor. Unfortunately, we had to change planners, so we reached out to Sahil to see if he recommended any full service planners. He suggested we use the planning team at Sugar Events.
We appreciated how Riddhi, our lead planner, reassured us that we could pull off an amazing wedding in under 7 months. She gave us the heads up that she was going to give birth a few months before our wedding but her team would be there to take our needs in her absence. I would have not guessed she was pregnant/gave birth with how hard she worked! She met with us many times to go over logistics, helped us find awesome vendors, and went to all of our site visits with us (even when there was a foot of snow, when she was 2 weeks from her due date, etc). She has the perfect calm, patient, and organized temperament which makes her perfect for this role!
Her assistants Nami and Puja were INCREDIBLE. Puja was my go to person the months leading up to the wedding. Her communication was excellent, and she was always there to answer my questions at any time of day. She also went above and beyond and helped me design signage and set up for my welcome event. She truly helped our vision come to life and we couldn’t have done it without her! Nami was awesome as well! She was always by our side during the events to attend to anything anyone needed. She was constantly refreshing our drinks/food and checking in on us. Her easy-going personality helped quell our nerves.
Overall, in less than 7 months the Sugar Events team did an amazing job of creating an unforgettable event from the music, logistics, and good vibes. We would not have been able to do it without them. Highly recommend!!

Sahil and Sugar Events was one of the easiest decisions of our entire wedding, as we had seen Sahil in action before at other weddings and had absolutely no question that we had to go with him for our biggest day!
From our very first call together, Sahil made the entire process a breeze. He was calm, confident, reassuring, and showed a great amount of understanding towards the details we envisioned for our special day. He made it clear from the very beginning that he was here to make this process easy for us and was extremely organized in his approach. Sahil even took it upon himself to come to our wedding rehearsal, even though he had already been to our venue before.
When the big day arrived, it was smooth sailing - from every detail we discussed, to every announcement he made, to precisely adhering to our timeline, to the way he seamlessly and skillfully blended the beautiful cultures within our families, to the way he kept the dance floor going all night… we are endlessly grateful. We could not have asked for a better person and team to make our celebration as perfect as it was! Every single guest made it a point to say how much they enjoyed Sugar Events and we could not recommend them more! Thank you again, Sahil and Team - you are fantastic!!!

during wedding planning immediately went away once the team stepped in and I really can’t thank them enough. The lead coordinators (Riddhi and Nami) went above and beyond on things big and small with constant smiles on their faces. The team handled not just the coordination / set up (keeping us on schedule, setting up name cards, return favors, etc) but also always made sure both the groom and myself were always well taken care with food, water, tea, makeup -- truly anything. Special shoutout to Nami for helping with all wardrobe / jewelry related things the weekend of. And a special shoutout to Riddhi for helping us feel calm and perfect our slow dance dip just in time for the reception :)
Best coordinators in the business! Would 10/10 recommend them to everyone looking for planners / coordinators!

d just really cool to collaborate with. From DJing to MCing and handling the dholi at our Mexico destination wedding, they aced it all. Smooth sailing through all the events, spot-on music picks, and they really brought the party vibes for the baraat and reception. They also went the extra mile, not just nailing their roles but also jumping in to help us with wedding planning and even sorting out the AV quote from the hotel. Not only were they rockstars on the day of the wedding, but they were extremely helpful in the months and days leading up to the wedding, checking in with us regularly to update timelines, take inventory, and organize vendors. They were always available to answer our questions and give us recommendations. Their timeliness was also greatly appreciated.
On the day of the wedding itself, Riddhi was at the bride's house early in the morning, making sure hair and makeup were in order and that things were going in a timely manner. It was also very helpful of her to drive the bride to photos and eventually the venue itself, lessening the stress on others to organize transportation.
Like any other big wedding event, there were some crises that came up, but Riddhi and team helped us navigate through them, constantly communicating with us any other parties involved. Without their involvement, I'm not sure the wedding would have been such a success.
Additionally, through the day and night, the team made sure we were getting our food, drinks, and fulfilling any other requests so that we could focus on the memorable events and spend time engaging with our loved ones.
I cannot recommend Riddhi, Sabeen, and the team at Sugar enough! Our wedding was a blast and so many people have been messaging us how well everything went. Sugar played a big part in making it happen.

Planning weddings are famously difficult, and even more difficult when a South Asian/fusion wedding is planned within just three months! There were many times when we thought that ...
we didn't have enough time to pull it off, but Sahil and Riddhi made it easy. Starting with Riddhi: even though we hired her only as a partial wedding planner/day-of coordinator, Riddhi kicked in with helpful vendor recommendations immediately, from florists and caterers to finding someone who could expertly tie the groom's turban for our ceremony. Riddhi clearly had immense knowledge and experience of the South Asian wedding industry in Dearborn/Detroit, and this was invaluable to us in our expedited planning process. As the date of the wedding approached, Riddhi kicked in with helpful coordination calls to keep us on track. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Riddhi fully kicked in and took on coordinating directly with the vendors, and our families. On the wedding day, Riddhi took on various tasks to ensure that the day went seamlessly, from driving the bride to our first look to staying at the venue till 1AM helping the bride's mom tear down her DIY decor. She took pains to make sure that we were having a blast at the wedding and that everything went off without a hitch.
Going on to Sahil, our DJ: from the start Sahil impressed us by knowing exactly how to approach our fusion (Cuban/Pakistani) wedding vibes. He was able to help us strike the music and MC balance perfectly. Sahil also offered a fantastic barat package, making the barat the most memorable part of the wedding and an incredible way to kick off the festivities. Half of our guests had never seen a barat, however Sahil expertly walked guests through the customs while getting the crowd excited to participate. The package also included a bhangra dance group performance, with the performers being extremely talented and professional. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the MCing and flow of both the ceremony and reception was flawless, with us and our families not having to lift a finger.
We could not be more thrilled with our experience with Sahil and Riddhi. They were instrumental to pulling off a beautiful and flawlessly executed wedding in just three months, without even being full-time wedding planners. We couldn't have done it without them and we are endlessly grateful for their guidance and hard work. Sahil and Riddhi, THANK YOU for singlehandedly making our wedding the most special day of our lives!

He is adaptable, friendly and reliable. As a bonus, his pricing is the best I’ve seen with flexible packages to fine tune the perfect wedding experience. Co2 guns, smoke bombs, cold fireworks/sparklers, multicolored dance lights and screens, he has all of it to offer. And that doesn’t even include the invaluable expertise he offers in terms of connections to vendors and advice on wedding planning. He shows up to every meeting, he problem solves, and if there’s something you need, he gets it done. Along with Sahil, sugar events offers a team of individuals dedicated to making your day/weekend run smoothly. And I have to mention the excellent MC service with Abi and dance lessons and tutorials by choreographer Riddhi, both of whom are part of the Sugar Events team. If you go with Sugar Events, it’s the complete package and you can rest easy because Sahil and his team truly pour their whole hearts into making your special day unforgettable. Honestly even 5 stars is not enough and thank you Sahil for throwing us the best party we’ve ever been to!

beginning of the planning process, Sahil and his team were so personable and accommodating with our needs and wants. He made us comfortable and was very reasonable. The document sent to us to plan the days and the details of each day was well organized. Riddhi (coordination) FaceTimed us countless times to go over little details and over the document to make sure everything was clear. Even when things didn’t go to plan during the events, they made sure it still all ran smoothly. Our guests and ourselves didn’t even notice when something wasn’t to plan. Sahil is so experienced in fusion weddings that he ensured both cultures felt included. The music was the best and there was never an empty dance floor moment. He was able to accommodate the older population and the younger population and everyone was on the dance floor until the end! Sahil continuously answered my texts and ensured all my questions were answered (even though I probably asked the same question multiple times). They coordinated with my sister for 8 months and were able to work with her to create the best, most fun week of our lives!
My family is notorious for being late. Riddhi was able to handle my family so well and made sure everyone was on time. She showed up to my house at 7:30 AM and basically kicked everyone out of my house in order for us to make it to the ceremony on time. Without her, I probably wouldn’t have been married on time. Riddhi was also able to handle me well. I get very time stressed and she kept me calm and was always communicating with me. Her team also made sure my husband and I were fed and hydrated throughout the events. My husband and I can’t recommend and thank Sahil, Riddhi and their team enough. Without them, I would’ve genuinely become a bridezilla and they didn’t let that happen. They truly became friends by the end of our wedding. You’ll definitely be happy with their services and the entire team as people. They’re fun, humble, personable, and genuinely care to make your wedding day/events the best they can possibly be. They are the reason we were stress free during the week and able to focus on our love and wedding. They really do create the sweetest memories! 🥰

They provided a lot of detailed documents of everything that would be happening/who was participating, and that made it incredibly helpful especially since this was our first immediate family wedding. He had a great arrangement of songs and ensured everyone on the dance floor was having a good time. The dance floor was never empty and we really appreciate the crew playing a variety of genres for everyone, especially with the diversity in the wedding. We know that couldn’t have been easy with all the different requests from everyone! Sahil and his crew accommodated all of our requests on speeches, dances, entrance songs, and it truly made the whole reception come together. Riddhi and her team kept our whole family sane the entire week. She kept track of all the little details (signs, handouts, head coverings, cake knife, venue decorations, seating assignments, entrance orders, much much more that I am missing) and was at our house bright and early to make sure everyone left on time. She ensured all the ceremonies ran smoothly and was incredibly organized and punctual. I remember after the wedding ceremony was done and my sister was eating in the back room and she said “hiring Riddhi and her team was the best decision I made for the wedding”. We really appreciate everything you guys did and all the last minute accommodations you made. You guys made the week amazing and hopefully you can coordinate/DJ my wedding too (many years from now).

We had special needs of enabling karaoke without monitor speakers, which is a challenging proposition from a sound engineering perspective, and needless to say, Viraj did an amazing job adjusting the sound just right for the singers as well as the audience!! Krupesh did a great job keeping the audience engaged, hyping them where needed, transitioning between karaoke and dancing, there wasn't a dull moment!! We got so many compliments for a reception well orchestrated, primary credit goes to the DJ to keep the party momentum going! The dancing did not stop till the last minute of our allotted time at the venue! Would highly recommend Sugar Events team for any wedding celebration! Very professional yet easy to work with, with great, reliable equipment and highly skilled personnel!
