The cake was beautiful, and our point of contact, Corrie, was so wonderful to work with when we were figuring out what we needed and how much of everything we needed. She was super responsive and helpful! On the wedding day, Sugar Fixe arrived early and assembled a flawless three tier cake using fresh flowers from our florist and a custom cake topper. We found their prices for wedding cake, mini tarts, and delivery to be super reasonable considering the effort involved! We're so thrilled we went to Sugar Fixe for our dessert needs for our big day!

wasn't a regular wedding cake. They designed a lemon cake with a blueberry filling, and it was perfect for a summer cake. I would have taken it home and eaten all of it, but it went missing—someone else wanted it that badly! It was that good! LOL

ome cake tasting, but then realized when we got to the bakery for pick-up that we wanted to try the cakes in store. The bakers and workers were kind and gave us some water and told us to reach out if we had any questions :) We tasted the cakes and buttercreams and were trying to figure out the best combinations for both. We fell in LOVE with the mango buttercream. It was the best mango buttercream I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my fair share of mango cakes in my life. We weren’t big fans of combining the mango buttercream with any of the cake options we chose, so we asked one of the bakers for their recommendation. They recommended that we pair the mango buttercream with a lemon cake, and quickly got us some lemon cake slice samples. OMG. The combinations was delicious!! My favorite wedding cake combination. We also loved the pistachio cake and Nutella buttercream so chose that as our 2nd option. We chose to do a 2-tier cake and sheet cakes. They also baked a gluten-free cake for our guests. They were able to apply the cake tasting fee to our cake order as well! I sent inspirational pics to Corrie and also told her I’d like a cake topper that included my husband, me, and a basketball. I shared a picture of my husband and I and also of my wedding dress. Corrie and her team did an AMAZING job! The cake topper was the cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen y’all. We received many compliments from our guests about the presentation and the taste of the cakes too! The plan was to save the top-tier of our wedding cake for our one year anniversary. Sugar Fixé Pâtisserie left a box with our venue so at the end of the wedding night, we were able to take our top tier (with our wedding cake toppers on top) home in the box! We were going to save the cake for our 1st anniversary, but the cake was SO good that we ended up defrosting it 4 months later for Valentine’s Day! We cut the top tier and now have multiple pieces we can defrost anytime for special occasions leading up to our anniversary. :) We did tastings with 4 other bakeries, and Sugar Fixé Pâtisserie was our absolute favorite!! riginally presented a more traditional design idea, but after changing my mind and presenting her with something a bit more out of the box she was so excited! Corrie accepted the challenge to do something different and we are so happy that she was game! Not only was our cake whimsical and eye-catching, but it was delicious! We did not share the cake with our guests, but we did share with immediate family and the feedback was overwhelming. We did 3 layers (gingerbread with brown sugar filling, chocolate with cookies and cream filling, and lemon with rasberry filling). The gingerbread layer was my absolute favorite! If you are considering working with Corrie at Sugar Fixe, act now! She was responsive, fun, easy to work with, helpful and a true pleasure to meet! She went out of her way to communicate with us and answered many questions along the way. We love you Corrie and can't wait to work with you again sometime in the future! . Both were beyond delicious and gorgeous. I'm still so in love with how beautiful our wedding cake was. The cake is moist, dense, flavorful, and so freaking delicious (I know I keep saying that but it's because it's true). Plus, Corrie is an absolute sweetheart and so wonderful to work with. As a bride, you need kind and lovely people to work with to keep you sane and she is that person! Plus she helped correct the color on our rehearsal dinner cake (the result of a small miscommunication, not her fault!) even though I know she's slammed! Plus the shop is so warm and friendly, with pastries and beverages you can bring back to your family the week of the wedding or give to people to thank them. Every time you go there, the shop will be bustling with customers, and that tells you all you need to know :) Thank you Corrie and Sugar Fixe for everything!!

We also got macarons as party favors, and they were delicious. When we wanted to add a series of sweet treats for a sweets table at the reception, Corrie sat down with us and walked us through the options with a tasting. She and her team were extremely helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend for your big event or if you're hungry for a treat.

Overall pricing was comfortable. Quality, design, handling are all beyond reproach. The raves from guests about the cake could fill a book. Make sure to do the tasting which will help you make a good decision for your event. HIGHLY recommended.

with Corrie to plan out the look of our cake was great! They also helped us plan for a small gluten free cake for my Matron of Honor with a gluten allergy. Both cakes ended up being beautiful and tasted great! We can't wait to re-order the same flavors for our anniversary!

accommodating our date change and communicating with us all the way along the entire process. She was very prompt at answering emails and provided me with helpful answers to my questions. I was able to provide my own cake stand, which I appreciated that flexibility. The tasting she put on was the best. We had different flavor slices of cake and different flavors of frosting. We were able to mix and match them to see what combination we wanted. It was a very nice tasting with plenty of cake and frosting to try. Corrie also decorated my cake on site with real flowers. It was gorgeous. The cake was delicious, and I received many complements. It was better than I imaged it to be. Thank you, Corrie and Sugar Fixe, for being a part of our big day and making such a delicious and beautiful cake.

ng at Cafe Brauer and they did not disappoint! Our cake was absolutely stunning and tasted delicious. I did not mind one bit going to Oak Park to pick up our tasting. We picked vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream and chocolate ganache filling (YUM!). Corrie was so kind and wonderful, I would HIGHLY recommend them to create your dream wedding cake :)

(we chose mocha, white chocolate ganache, pink champagne and nutella). We got four little bars of each cake flavor and little bowls of the fillings (plus one of buttercream which goes o the outside), so I was able to try a bite of every combination of cake flavor mixed with icing flavor. We ended up choosing chocolate/white chocolate and hazelnut/nutella as our two flavors, btw. Corrie was really easy to work with, and when it turned out we were not getting as many guests as initially anticipated, she was really nice about lowering the amount of our side sheet cake/total price. I delivered our topper to her at the final payment and it was set up nicely on the cake and everything looked and tasted great. Even if you don't need a wedding cake, if you're around Oak Park, you should check them out for their pastries! But I'm 100% satisfied with our choice of Sugar Fixe for our wedding.

n at Sugar Fixe, she had the energy and passion I was looking for. I wish I could post pictures here because Corrie did an absolutely stunning job on our wedding cake! She took the ideas I had and really brought them to life. It looked even better than I had imagined. She is incredibly talented and artistic! She is also super sweet and helpful to any questions you have. Don't worry I didn't forget about the taste either. We had a three tier cake, bottom vanilla, middle chocolate, and top was pumpkin. The cake itself was moist and delicious; the buttercream wasn't heavy or too sweet, it was perfect. Even though Sugar Fixe is a little out of my way, I will gladly make a drive there just to take home some of their pastries. I will also gladly recommend Sugar Fixe to anyone whose looking for good pastries or a wedding cake! Thank you again Corrie and Sugar Fixe!

flavors and colors to match our our wedding decor and had it delivered to our venue. After our ceremony when we looked at the reception room, we both ran up to the tower and started taking photos, it was displayed so beautifully! Above all of that - they were absolutely delicious!

small, single tier wedding cake with a lot of flair. The cake itself was coconut and we added passion fruit and raspberry between the layers, a passion fruit butter cream frosting, and topped it all off with a passion fruit drizzle and stunning handmade flowers. It was so delicious that I'm drooling just thinking about it! The peony and hellebore flowers were so realistic that they perfectly matched my bouquet. At the last minute we decided to add macaroons as take-away favors and our guests have been raving about them ever since. I'm seriously planning to have Sugar Fixe recreate our wedding cake for our anniversary. Thank you team Sugar Fixe!

e beautiful it tasted amazing. Melt in your mouth delicious but not overwhelmingly sweet. Yes there was fondant which I don't really care for (but needed to get the design I wanted) but her butter cream layer underneath made you forget there was even fondant involved. So happy with my choice.

Every single flavor of cake was simply scrumptious. She made my cake vision come to life! We emailed back and forth often to make sure we were on the same page, and she knew exactly what I wanted. I only regret not eating more of the cake but we were so busy talking to everyone we never had time! Thank goodness we saved our top tier to have on our anniversary! I can't wait to taste it again! . Bria designed our cake using ideas we had and it was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! It was also incredibly delicious. They provided a box for us to freeze our cake topper, as is tradition, but we might have to sneak some earlier. Five stars for presentation, communication and tastiness!

irst consultation I knew Bria at Sugar Fixe in Oak Park was who I NEEDED (not just wanted) to make my cake. Sugar Fixe was our first and only cake tasting, because I knew this was it...no need to go anywhere else. She was so professional, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, engaged and supportive of my vision and making it a reality. She provided suggestions and ideas to help me design the cake of my dreams. She truly listened to my ideas also, and really understood what I wanted. I literally cried when I saw my cake in all of its glory on display at my reception. It was so beautiful I didn't want to cut it! But of course you have to cut it in order to eat it, and it was DELICIOUS also. And now I can't wait until my 1st anniversary so we can eat the "save" cake, so I will be planning any reason to have to have another cake in the meantime!!! Bria is a true artist and joy to work with!!! And by the way, we had three flavors: Almond cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberry preserves, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream. Our guests loved the cake so much that MANY of them told me they tried all three!!! YUM.

e are so happy we did! Bridget was so sweet and amazing to work with. They worked within our budget and make the cake in the style we were looking for. But best of all, it was by far the most delicious wedding cake either of us have ever had! I can't wait to get a small cake from there when we celebrate our 1 year anniversary next fall. I especially recommend their red velvet and chocolate flavored cakes.

On the wedding day I was slightly disappointed in the cake in that I felt to rosettes were much smaller than I showed the team in the picture. With that being said, the cake tasted absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!! My favorite aspect of working with Sugar Fixe was how they arranged the tasting. Instead of giving of slices of fully prepared cakes, they cave us a platter with square pieces of 5 or 6 different cake flavors and bowls with all the different fillings/frostings. This allowed us to combine any cake, filling, and frosting flavor! In hindsight, I would have maybe explained that I wanted medium size roses vs small roses but there really was no way of knowing how they would make them until it was already done. I would still definitely recommend using Sugar Fixe for your wedding day!!!

gn until it was perfect! my husband loves the Portillo's chocolate cake and i have a recipe for it and Cindy gladly used the recipe for one of our flavors and it turned out to be delicious. i can't say enough good things about our cake!

is why Sugar Fixe is so perfect. We got 4 small cakes of varying flavors for guests who like cake, but for us we made sure there was dessert we would devour, and that was the passion fruit mini tarts with fresh berries and the mini chocolate eclairs. Just wow. Our guests had nothing but praises for our whole spread, plus Cindy was fabulous to work with the whole time.
