ust to create our cake - arguably one of the most iconic and symbolic elements of any wedding! She is also the sweetest and most outgoing person - you will love working with her!
From our initial consultation, my husband and I were so impressed! Callan on top of everything! She asked to go over our inspiration photos, discuss our overall vision and theme, colors, my dress and more! She truly is an expert in the industry and offered tons of great advice and council in addition to making our stunning wedding cake. She took detailed notes and even started sketching our cake on the spot!
Our wedding was all the way up in the Catskills in New York and on the day of she was early and prepared to put the finishing touches on our cake. She even suggested the cake placement to ensure it was spotlighted, but also fit in seamlessly with our reception ambience and decor.
Most importantly our wedding cake was the BEST dessert. Her buttercream flavors are to die for!!!! I could eat them with just a spoon! Our cake was so decadent, moist and flavorful - multiple guests commented how delicious it was!
Callan is simply the best. You can 100% trust her to bring your vision to life and for your guests to be begging for second slices! Just book her :)
I found Sugar Therapy through The White Dress by the Shore, where I got my wedding dress, and I couldn’t be happier with how our cake turned out. Sugar Therapy’s owner, Callan, is ...
incredibly sweet and organized, and truly brought our look to life.
We were more sure of the look we wanted, but we hadn’t been completely sure about the taste we were going for- Callan did an at-home tasting for us over some champagne, with multiple flavors to taste - so fun! I can honestly say they were all delicious- the choice was so hard!
We went with a taste that we hadn’t expected, and were a little weary what our guests would think if they heard since it wasn’t completely traditional - Coconut cake with cookies n cream filling. However, we received rave reviews from all of our guests the night of but even afterwards about how amazing the cake was! I can’t recommend Sugar Therapy enough- From working to Callan, to the design, to the taste, we couldn’t be happier!

Callan in person to discuss different ideas, and then she sent several sketches for us to choose from (our cake is the 5-tier white with gold confetti cake featured on the website). When it came time to taste the cake and frosting options, Callan brought the samples directly to our apartment so that we had one less appointment to worry about. It was hard choosing from all the great flavors, so Callan allowed us to have different flavors for each layer of the cake. Many of our guests commented that it was the best tasting wedding cake they’d ever had, and we certainly agree! Callan was professional and easy to work with. She brought our cake directly to the venue, and even let us use one of her beautiful cake stands. The customer service was truly exceptional. We highly recommend Sugar Therapy!
