ing, way better than you get with your typical wedding cater packages (dry chicken, mediocre steak, bland salmon, etc.), and at a better price than you will find elsewhere. Don't buy into the idea that buffets are "low quality" or not fancy enough for a wedding, Sugarfire provided wedding quality service and delicious food that guests were raving about. Bar services were great and unlike some caterers who purposely provide slow bar service for an open bar to limit orders, Sugarfire was cranking out drinks at a pace that the guests couldn't even keep up if they wanted to. They also will let you do a tasting ahead of time at their restaurant to try most of the offered appetizers, entrees, and sides, to help you select your package. I would recommend doing this as some of the dishes, especially sides, surprised us with how good they were, and ultimately the tasting was representative of what we got wedding night. If you don't have time to go for a tasting, we went with toasted ravs, bacon wrapped figs, and caprese skewers for appetizers, brisket, pulled pork, and salmon for our entrees, and cheesy hash browns, mixed vegetables, and baked beans for sides, and were very happy with it all. To top it all off, at the end of the night they pack up all the extras for you to take home. We had enough barbecue to last a house of 4 two+ weeks.

Overall they did an amazing job. Sugarfire should be at the top of every engaged couple’s caterer list!

My father is trying to recreate the incredible waffle recipe that all of the guests were talking about. And beyond the delicious food - the team at Sugarfire was great to work with. They were responsive and helpful. We added hot water to the menu (so guests could make tea) and they accommodated the request with no problems! And we had a guest with a dairy allergy that Sugarfire went out of their way to accommodate. The team placed the table runners on our tables and really went above and beyond the make the day smooth. Our venue team commented that they always love working with the Sugarfire team - so their exceptional service is noticed by everyone you are working with as well as those attending your wedding. We highly recommend Sugarfire and the brunch menu (just don't skip the waffles)!

e it was during covid, they personally created items that were not on the menu that we wanted, and catered to all of our dietary needs. All our guests were raving all night long about how delicious our food was, and Kris took care of so much so we were worry free. They even set up and packaged our snack bar and dessert table (which came from our family members, not provided by sugarfire). Our guests couldn't stop talking about the food all night, and we received inquiries about our caterer for weeks following the event. Sugarfire gives you a huge bang for your buck in terms of both food and professionalism. They're most famous for the meats, (the brisket and salmon were delicious), but their vegetarian selection is wonderful as well; the mushroom ravioli, which we've never seen in the restaurant, was a particular hit. They specially plated meals for our vegan guests as well. We picked up the catering menu after trying their location in downtown Indianapolis and planned everything via email and phone for our wedding in downtown St. Louis with their lovely event manager, Jessica. We chose an assortment of all their pies for dessert instead of a wedding cake and it was a great decision. Highly recommend for all your catering needs!

We worked with Heather and Jessica throughout the process and they were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone loved it! We also had two people who follow a gluten free diet, and Sugarfire was able to accommodate- They were blown away by the gluten free options, and Sugarfire even served them individual plates to ensure it was gluten free. We also were able to add two signature drinks to our bar menu about a week out from our wedding and they were an absolute hit. Again, we would highly recommend Sugarfire and loved working with them!

talking about the quality and variety of the food. My wife/I were impressed with the quality, friendliness and overall service from everyone at SugarFire. Some people might be concerned about hiring a BBQ for their wedding dinner. However, Sugarfire isn't your typical BBQ. We had Brisket, Turkey, Turkey and some wonderful side dishes for our dinner. The bartenders did an excellent job and even remembered what people were drinking. Thank you to SUGARFIRE for being a part of our wedding night. We highly recommend hiring Sugarfire!

. My bride and I have always been a couple that loves to cook breakfast together, so having breakfast food at our wedding seemed appropriate. Their staff was always straightforward and helpful, as well as highly responsive leading up to the wedding. The food the day of was just as good (if not better) as it was at the tasting. They arrived perfectly on time, and our guests raved about the Eggs Benedict. (Highly recommend the brisket). They were also the most reasonably priced of the available vendors for our venue, and they worked perfectly with the other vendors (cake, day of coordinator, etc) without any issues. The linens were exactly what we requested and looked gorgeous. The staff was kind and considerate the day of to both us and the guests.

Jessica and Heather were so accommodating and answered questions super fast (even on Christmas Eve)! They loved all of the sauces to try on their pulled pork and brisket and were raving about the variety of sides (we had mac and cheese, couscous, cornbread, and potato salad). My husband and I worked with Laura to set up my dream menu that suited our guests as well as our wedding budget, and our experience with her was most certainly enjoyable. Laura always responded to our emails in a timely manner with all of the information we requested. When we met in person, she answered all of our questions and made sure we received information regarding all options before making a firm decision. To my friends and family, I will always recommend Sugarfire Smokehouse for catered events (or for a dine-in meal) because it is delicious BBQ, and the staff was professional and very enjoyable to work with!

The food is DELICIOUS. My husband and I actually made time to sit and enjoy a full plate at our wedding and it was worth every second. We received countless compliments from guests, who said what an awesome idea it was to have BBQ for dinner and how great all the food was. Sugarfire also cut and served the cake that I brought in from a different vendor. They sent us home with a couple pans of leftovers that we got to enjoy with our extended family the day after the wedding. Definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

rer, as much as I thought that they would be a good caterer, they completely exceeded my expectations. First thing is affordability, Sugarfire was quite inexpensive given the quality of food and their service was outstanding. The team came to my venue in the morning and dressed all the tables and completed the setup, later another team came in and made the side dishes on site needing very little space. Everything was hot and delicious, There are so many options to choose from not just your standard BBQ fare. Heather is great to work with, she was quick with communication and is very relaxed, no strict deadlines to make.

s after. I was so embarrassed and disappointed because it was nothing like their food at the resteraunt. We also had booked the bar and they started my bar time during my ceremony when no one was drinking and then they told us it ended at 10 then I came up around 9 and said it was supposed to end at 9. I would think they would've let I or someone else know they told us the wrong time. Overall disappointed and wasted a lot of money on food that was very disappointing.

worry about a thing on my wedding day. Leading up to the wedding it was sometimes difficult to get a timely response from them, and it was rare to have all my questions completely answered. They were extremely casual about actually signing a contract, and not very proactive in seeking out payments and information from me. More times than not I had to be the one keeping them on track. In a nutshell: Spectacular food, but the business side of things could use improvement.
