e all DELICIOUS!! The turnovers, mini key lime pies, lemon berry tarts, atomic bars, sugarsnap cookies, and everything else were so amazing!!

our wedding and the cake was going to cost well over $1000. But through the preferred vendor package pricing at Garden Tuscana, I believe it ended up being $350 for a 4 tier cake, which was a no brainer! At first I thought to myself “I’ve never heard of this place.” But after one quick Yelp search, my mouth was watering. I was excited to try it out! We booked a cake tasting prior to our wedding. They are very coordinated and had us input our preferred cake and fillings in advance of the meeting. The day of our meeting, they even had a private little seating nook and a welcome sign for us. It was really sweet (no pun intended). They gave us three half cupcakes (which are pretty big!) all topped with vanilla buttercream and the three mousses of our choice. I was also able to discuss vision with our consultant. Luckily, I had one picture I showed her which was pretty simple. Four layers in an ivory color and then the florist would really do all the rest. I’m very happy we did the cake tasting because some of them were ones we thought we’d like and then chose not go go with them and replace them with other flavors. They even gave us additional samples because we were so fickle. And beyond that, they had flavors on the menu that weren’t in stock the day we came, so my fiancé ordered them special and picked them up the following week so we could taste test them. Fortunately, our tasting was 3.5 months before the wedding which gave us a lot of time to choose. Part of the reason it was so tough to narrow it all down was because we had 4 tiers plus a sheet cake! We were allowed to choose a separate flavor for each one. Knowing that we were going to take the top tier home, we opted to keep that flavor the same as the base flavor. We ended up with Marble Cake with Chocolate Mousse, Pink Champagne Cake with Coconut Mousse, Banana Cake with Strawberry Preserve, and Confetti Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. It was delicious and I’m very happy we went with the multi-flavor options for our guests. We received many compliments on the cake and some even shared that it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever had! One of my friends still tells me about it and said she even went back to Ohio and told everyone how amazing our wedding cake was. Hah! I’m SO happy we went with Sugarlips and honestly, they have much better cake than the original bakery I was going to select for our wedding. I know it’s pretty far out of the way, but next time I need a specialty cake, you can be sure I’ll head over to Mesa to get Sugarlips!

The cake that we chose was their carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was just amazing (some people said best carrot cake ever), but the thing that pushed them over the top for me was the fact that they made one tier with raisins and the other without because my husband and I disagree about whether or not raisins should be in carrot cake. They delivered the cake on time to our venue and decorated it with our flowers and cake topper beautifully. My only complaint was that the venue gave away all of the cake at the wedding and we ended up with none to take home. Looks like we will need to get another cake from here! I cannot recommend Sugarlips enough for your wedding!

On our big day, our flowers were in water and ready for us in our suites. They were more beautiful than I had imagined, and we got a lot of compliments on them and how they added such beautiful detail and pulled everything together. The florals that were picked for our cake were the perfect addition and allowed us to incorporate a little something extra to make it our own. We loved working with her and appreciate all that she did to make our day lovely!

We had so much fun at our wedding tasting and they explained all our options, allowing us to choose a plan that fed all our guests as well as got us the best bang for our buck! We ended up with a small 3-tier naked cake (marble with chocolate mousse) as well as pink champagne and red velvet cupcakes. All were absolutely delicious and our guests raved about them, even taking leftovers home. They also expertly placed our flowers and cake topper onto our cake. Highly recommend.

a sign with your names on it. After you try the flavors you requested a designer comes out and consults with you. I was unsure how to explain what I wanted; I pretty much just said pink, pearls, glitter, and glam! That is exactly what they gave me! My wedding cake had so much glitter and glam and had the perfect colors!! The inside of the cake was even pink!! It tasted so yummy!! I was sad to cut it because it was so beautiful! Looking forward to eating it again on our one year anniversary!!! Thank you so much Sugarlips Cakery!!!

We went in for our tasting, picked out cake and then about a month before the wedding found out we were going to need to feed about 70 additional people, so once again Sam saved the day by making me a groom’s cake (this was a huge deal since they were already packed full for the month and not taking on any additional cakes). I had a picture of what I was looking to have done but when they delivered the cake on the day of the wedding it blew me away, it was so beautiful I didn’t even want to cut it. The cake itself was amazing, 4 different flavors so there was a little something for everyone, our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was and how they had more than one piece. It must have been good because there wasn’t any left. Highly recommend Sam and her team, we will use them again for other events.

Every single flavor was INCREDIBLE - it is hard to choose a favorite! But, if I was forced to choose, my personal favorite was the lemon cake with bavarian cream filling. We got so many compliments from our guests stating that our wedding cake was the best they have ever had!! We knew our guests would love the cake so we added an additional tier. We had plenty of cake for everyone, but so many people had multiple pieces, we hardly had any leftovers! It was that good! I would highly recommend Sugarlips Cakery to anyone looking for a wedding cake. They were so easy to work with, executed our vision flawlessly, and the flavors are unmatched! how much they prepared for us (they had welcome signs with our names on it, our wedding day, the flavors we requested and drinks ready) we already fell in love with them. When we had our first taste of one of the flavors, we knew then we were going to hire them as our cake vendor and no longer looked for anyone else. We had the red velvet with cream cheese, my husbdand’s favorite – pink champagne with vanilla custard and my favorite- almond with raspberry. Their customer service was fantastic, Courtney, their manager accommodated us, made us feel at home with no pressure. They were affordable, did a fantastic job decorating our naked cake with flowers and everyone was talking about how delicious the cake was, and asked us if there were more! We will definetly go back to buy our anniversary cake from them! We recommend them and yes, worth every penny!

Ultimately, we decided to have two different kinds of cake, with a more simple cake for 4 out of the 5 layers, then one layer of decadence for those who wanted that. Our guests absolutely loved that they got to choose between two different types of cake. They also offered a few different options for cake stand rentals, which was great and eliminated the stress of having to find or buy one myself. I seriously considered not having a wedding cake because I really am not a big cake fan, but they made me a believer! We were still eating some leftover cake a full week after the wedding and it was just as moist and delicious as it was the day of the wedding. These guys are amazing, can’t wait to unfreeze that top layer on our anniversary!

was just sweet enough and super light and fluffy. They decorated it with fresh flowers that we purchased and made it look lovely. They were also very organized and clear on their options and pricing (which was very reasonable).

signer and she took all our ideas and drew it out right in front of us so we had an idea of what we wanted. We were thrilled. However, i began follwing them on Instagram and noticed that alot of people were giving them themes and then letting them have free reign on the designs and the images i saw were AMAZING. So a week before my wedding i literally walked in and said "i want to change my design." the lady looked at me like i was crazy lol then i said "we are doing a star wars theme so forget everything we told you before, design wise, and do your thing." OMG AM I SO HAPPY WE DID THAT! The cake was freaking awesome! It was WAY BETTER then anything we could have come up with and it tasted great. If you dont order from them then you are seriously missing out. Thanks guys!!

Not only did it look AMAZING, but it tasted so yummy. Our guests complimented it all night and my husband and I (who aren't really "cake people" are still eating the left overs :)

didn't end up using them for our wedding cake we decided to just elope anyhoo... we have used them for every event in our family ever since from baptisms, birthdays, you name it we will always use them. the Owner is always so helpful when I email her and present my requests for cake orders. all the ladies are amazing. and the cakes are magnificent. I would always recommend them to anyone.

People could not believe what a low price we got our cake for. Another bride I know got her wedding cake from Walmart for the same price! I highly recommend Sugarlips!!
