We're a full-time husband + wife photo/video team based in Jacksonville Beach, FL. We were highschool sweethearts, and got married last April! We are both passionate about capturing every beautiful season of life, and we have so much fun at every session. We can't wait to learn about what makes you, YOU! We give gentle prompts, but we focus on capturing the candid moments. Allow us to capture your memories while you're caught up in the moment making them.

I went into wedding planning with a specific vision, and skeptical that I’d be able to find someone who could execute it. I was running out of time to book a photographer, and knew I loved Emily’s website, and thought I’d take the leap and book her for my June 2024 wedding. Hands down, best decision I made. Emily and Jake quite literally took everything I was picturing in my head and made it real. Not only are they talented and intentional with their art, they are incomparably kind. I did not spend one second of my wedding worrying about how the photos would turn out, I fully trusted their process. But, more importantly than the absolutely stunning gallery they created, they took my attention away from what social media says a bride or wedding should look, and allowed me to focus on being present. I was able to have the best day of my life so far because I was focused on my husband, my family, and my friends. And Emily and Jake are the reason for that. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Emily & Jake were absolutely incredible - if you are considering them for your wedding photographers, do it!!!!
They were both so incredibly sweet, which made our wedding party and guests feel so at ease with them while taking pictures. This is something I hadn’t experienced with wedding photographers before, they made the whole experience so comfortable, which is reflected in the pictures they captured as well.
They also both have such an incredible eye, vision & passion for what they do. The photos we received are absolutely stunning. We could not be happier with how they turned out!!
We also absolutely loved how they stayed for the entire wedding to make sure that not one moment was missed. This was something many other photographers did not offer and I am forever grateful that Emily & Jake do! Some of those pictures towards the end of the night are my absolute favorite. They were able to capture moments that I would have never been able to see otherwise.
I will recommend them to anyone who will listen - they were the best! I can’t wait to work with them again in the future since they also offer couple & family sessions as well.

Emily and Jake are an absolute dream team! From the moment we met them, they made us feel so comfortable, and it really shows in our photos. They captured every special moment so beautifully, from the little candid laughs to the big, emotional ones. Looking through our pictures feels like reliving the best day of our lives. Emily and Jake are the very best! All of the most comfortable photography experiences I have ever had have been with them. They are masterful at capturing shots with authenticity and creativity. They are professional, personable & fun. Emily was so intentional to ask if I had a specific vision in mind for our engagement shoot & showed up with my ideas memorized and brought everything to life better than I could have imagined! Our wedding day with them was a dream as well. I was particularly grateful for the way they moved through family shots with ease - no small feat with our crew. All of our photos turned out beautifully, and we will treasure them forever.

Emily and Jake were the absolute best! They shot both our wedding pics and baby announcement photos and made sure that my “Pinterest” dreams came to life! They surpassed all expectations and were not only professional but also so much fun to work with! I can’t wait to use them again for more exciting life events in the future!

Emily and Jake surpassed all of our expectations! They were efficient with their communication throughout the whole planning process and put us at ease. We were nervous about being photographed because we aren’t used to it but they made us feel so comfortable. Not only were their photos amazing but they were so easy going it made everything feel stress-free. We received a preview of my photos within the week so we were able to share with our family and friends & the whole album within a month which was incredible! We could not recommend them enough. If you want amazing photos (digital and film) and videography we would highly consider using them, you will not regret it!! They are amazing people inside and out and it really reflects in their work.

They were absolutely amazing! In a stressful day with so many moving parts they reminded me how amazing this day was when I really needed to hear it the most. The photos came out better than expected. Emily was so easy to communicate with even before meeting her in person. It was truly so pleasant and amazing to have them there on our special day to capture our moments! I highly recommend them!

Five starts is not enough for Jake and Emily. They are truly above and beyond. I had many friends and family approach me after wedding and share what beautiful energy they brought to our wedding and how beautifully they captured our special day! Booking a photographer is a HUGE part of your wedding. And I can promise you cannot go wrong with Summerdaze Photography! I hope to use them again for other special life events.

I don’t even know if there are enough characters to say everything I want to say about Emily and Jake. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and they made the process extremely easy! Their communication is top tier! If I had any questions at all, they answered them promptly and effectively! An engagement session was included in the package we selected and we were in JAX for July 4th, so they kindly worked with us over the holiday week and SLAYED our engagement photos. When I posted them online I felt like we broke the internet lol. I have never felt so comfortable working with a photographer than I did with them! The vibes of wedding day were so high! Emily and Jake made me and my husband feel like the 100% priority!! They helped me create a timeline/schedule of the day that was very custom to my wants and desires of the day! Their lock screen of their phones the day of the wedding was our schedule to ensure we were on time! Even the bridesmaids were asking Emily where we were at for the day! All of the wedding party grew to adore Jake and Emily as much as Bryan and I do. I’m honestly bummed we don’t live in the same state as them because I never want to see myself through anyone else’s lense. If you are even considering booking Jake and Emily for ANY session I could not recommend them enough. I forgot to mention they squeezed in last minute an extended family photo shoot for my family the night of my rehearsal dinner. My whole family traveled from Ohio to Jacksonville and they wanted pictures of everyone with my grandparents and my entire family LOVES the pictures and I will cherish those with my grandparents forever. Having these special 2 work with you on your special day would be a great privilege! Thank you Emily and Jake for being so amazing to work with & capturing breath taking photos!!

Emily and Jake were truly a dream to work with and a huge part of our wedding day that we will now get to cherish forever thanks to our beautiful wedding gallery. Let me tell you…. The gallery DELIVERED!!!!!! Choosing “favorites” is a challenge because how beautiful every photo is.
