Situated in Fernandina Beach, FL, Summer House is a retreat and wedding venue with an urban and luxurious vibe. The venue features versatile spaces for both those in the local area as well as couples planning a destination wedding. Love birds are able to customize the house to fit their vision. This allows them to celebrate their milestone moment in a way that is meaningful and personal to them.
Summer House began its story as an auto shop in the roaring ‘20s and was later in its history refurbished for its current purpose. Being a historic site offers a vintage touch to the stylish venue, which is owned by Summer House Realty. This company offers short and long-term rental solutions, in addition to event venues.
From the rooftop of Summer House, couples and their guests can look out at Ash and 4th Streets. In the distance, the clocktower of the Historic Courthouse stands with stately grace. These combined views make this a contemporary and city-inspired locale with a subtle nod to the past. The enthusiastic and professional staff are there to assist you throughout your event, helping to make your day a success. In addition to weddings, the event space is also suited to engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and more. The rooftop boasts a fire pit, rattan lounge chairs, rolling bar, and cocktail tables, which encourage guests to mingle and unwind. Downstairs, the dance floor, audiovisual equipment, and 1960s-style lighting create an ambience fitting for celebrations. There is also additional lounge space in this area. Couples have the option of renting the event spaces together or separate, helping them to better customize the venue for their fete.
