ok a few of the risks I wanted in getting some great shots of "the kiss" and I couldn't be happier with them!

hanges (we had a puppy to hold while changing and she is very dog friendly). She also suggested moving sites to get a full range of artistic, romantic backdrops that come natural in New Orleans. She was easy to contact and readily available when first making contact with her to determine if she was a good 'fit' for us and vice versa. She provided a high level of comfort from the front end and this did not let up throughout the photo shoot and when finalizing with the USB drive that held all our photos. Everything she said was followed through with and completed in a timely manner without any hidden costs or expectations. I recommend her for your 'special days' and definitely think that she has top level product and service for a minimal to moderate budget based upon your needs. I will be using her again for our next trip to NOLA!

During the ceremony, second line parade and reception Kelli was on top of things ready to capture every spontaneous moment as well as she even jumped in and organized things when our expensive wedding coordinator was MIA. For example our cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. We fell in love with New Orleans from the moment my husband and I went there for the first time and that is why we wanted to be married there. We plan on having additional milestones celebrated there in the future and know whom our go to gal will be to capture all of the memories when the time comes! We are forever grateful Kelli. But once I contacted Kelli, I knew I made the right choice! Her response to messages and emails was quick and to the point. Upon meeting Kelli, once again I knew I had made the right choice. She did an amazing job with our pictures. Even though it was the end of July in New Orleans, so hot you can barely breathe, she kept a great attitude. She did not tell us what to do, she ASKED us what we wanted. That was the best experience of them all. She let us walk around the streets and capture anything we wanted. We went with the flow and the results were more than what we could ever ask for. She threw in some of her ideas with ours and worked with us like she had known us for years. Best part is, she mails a flash drive so you can print off as many as you could ever want. Our house already has plenty! These reviews talked about how friendly and artistic she was, the short amount of time it was until she posted the photos on her website for viewing (less than 1 week) as well as how prompt she was in returning emails/phone calls. Between these reviews and the amazing work that was displayed on her website I knew that she was the photographer that I wanted to hire. Everything I read about her was true and we had an amazing experience. From the moment I first contacted her to receiving our usb in the mail went even better than I could have imagined. In the first few emails we sent we nailed down a date, time, location, and contract details. The contract and deposit process was extremely smooth and was completed promptly. Kelli was great about keeping in contact with me and provided me with some great advice about the photo shoot. When we finally met Kelli for the first time she was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We had so much fun during our photo shoot. We walked around the French Quarter where she gave us suggestions on what backgrounds look good and on poses which I appreciated. (A little TMI, but relevant to this review) My fiancé is not the overly smiling type in photos and is not a fan of pushy people. When he met Kelli he was comfortable with her, appreciated her input, and had no problem smiling in the photos. Kelli has an amazing personality, is alot of fun to talk to, and is a real person. She does this because it is what she loves. We had alot of laughs and good conversations with her throughout our shoot and still talk about her to this day! If you are looking for a photographer in the New Orleans area then Kelli should be your first choice, don't bother to look for anyone else. I promise you, you will not be disappointed! really captured a lot of the "behind the scenes" moments very well, but also got some really goofy ones that my husband and I loved. She amazingly caught some natural, funny smiles, which is hard to do for me or my husband. The traditional pictures of us came out really great too but the ones we liked the best were her artistic ones. She has a great eye and some of the best pictures were the ones she came up with on the spot. Her use of black and white with color, and her use of light, were exceptional on quite a few photos. She made us both look gorgeous. We got so many compliments on the photos people have seen so far, and she got us our photos online real quick! We received hard copies in a month which is a phenomenal return rate! The weather was abnormally frigid on our wedding day for New Orleans and Kelli was ill that day herself, but you would have never known from our pictures! Kelli never complained about either and was still able to capture the beauty of that day. She also made my husband and I feel comfortable being photgraphed which is a fete in itself LOL! She helped organize the portraits of the family to make sure everything was done efficiently so I could enjoy my rehearsal. I always knew she was a phone call or an email away if I had any questions or concerns. I would recommend her to anyone who needed a photographer. All of my family and friends were impressed and amazed at how well her photographs came out and at how well she was able to take such a variety of pictures. The day of our wedding hair and makeup got behind schedule but Kelli worked fast and kept the pace of pictures moving along to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. Right before she left for the evening she told my husband and I that she would have the photos over to us within a week which excited us. Believe or not, less than three days later we started to receive sneak peeks and the photos were everything we could have hoped for! We have since received all of our photos and could not be happier with the overall selection. To be frank, we are having a hard time picking what photo we want to use for thank you cards, 8x10’s and so forth because there are so many that we adore. If you are looking for a professional, creative and stress free photographer I highly recommend you choose to work with Kelli.

efore we were to travel to see if she could take anniversary pictures for us. I apologized like crazy that it was so last minute, but she constantly told me that she was available and would love the business! She didn't have to, but she trusted me to pay the entire deposit the day we met her, and she was fabulous. We wanted local pictures around the French Quarter, and she knew all the best spots to get pictures. She had great ideas for us, but she also listened to what I wanted, and let us do our own poses as well. She's really chatty, but when you meet new people all the time, you've got to be able to talk to anybody about anything and make them comfortable so I understand why she's like that. We were out of town another full week after our trip, and our pictures beat us home! It was so much fun to immediately be able to see everything with the online gallery as well. My husband even admitted that he had a blast taking pictures (which happens very rarely!) and loves all the different scenes/poses/options that we have with our pictures. Kelli also offered to touch up any pictures that we chose to get on top of the usual editing - ex: if we wanted a 16x20 size to blow up on a canvas, she offered to make sure there was no extra junk in the picture - cigarette butts, trash, other people, etc. Her price for our session was perfectly in our budget and was very affordable. I greatly appreciated working with her on all accounts - communication, flexibility, ideas, etc. She went above and beyond my expectations for pictures and I have memories/pictures I will forever treasure from our anniversary!!! Our pictures were anniversary pictures, but I have no doubt about her expertise when it comes to weddings/engagements as well. Thank you so much Kelli, you are amazing!

If you were like me before I got married, working a full time job without the pleasure of a wedding planner, she was a godsend and made the process so easy. I was able to look at all her beautiful pics on her website and she kept in touch the entire time (from the day I first contacted her to the follow up after the wedding!). She never dropped the ball!! Also, I was very impressed, when just days after she emailed me my flash drive with over 900 pics and my dog chewed it up, she sent another one to me without even a question. I thought my wedding pics were gone, I cried, but she handled it so professionally and I got a new flash drive just a few days later. Kelli was an amazing photographer, not just with pictures, but all the way around.
