Hello! I’m Summer Galyan and I take REALLY FREAKIN’ GREAT photos, that don’t cost you a limb.
I am a full time photographer that specializes in wedding, family and senior photography. I am currently serving the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. In 2013 I married my best friend of 15 years. Josh is the love of my life and my biggest supporter. Our super rad 13 year old son is the light of my life, I’m thankful for him every single day. My top 3 favorite things on the planet are my family (including the furry ones), pizza, and friends. I also love singing, corny puns, painting, reading, camping, hoppy beers, scary movies, and basically every animal. I'm outspoken and I love to make people laugh! I’m extremely passionate and driven in everything I set out to accomplish. I'm also very picky. I want that WOW photo at every shoot and I won’t stop until I get it. All of the photos we wanted from the wedding were taken and they were delivered to us in a very timely manner. She was excellent at the photography and was also a joy and pleasure to be around. ould appreciate forever. We got it. Even though we threw some logistical challenges her way due to people being late etc, Summer easily rolled with it and got all the shots we wanted and more. She had an idea of using the sunset (which was quickly fading) for our couple photos, and we scrambled to the location to get the shots in the freezing cold. At the time I wasn't sure what to expect, but once we got the photos they were the best ones of the whole evening. On top of that, it was fun and spontaneous, and I know when I see those photos 30 years from now I will vividly remember that experience. Look at Summer's portfolio; it's representative of what you'll get.

ne to stay on task and to get through pictures quickly esp. in the heat (95 +). The pictures we have seen thus far are beautiful and the lighting is everything. She knows what she is doing and is very upfront with you about you are going to get and how to get it. We really wanted a sunset photo, but the weather and timing was completely against us. Summer talked us through it and in the end we realized we didn't have the best conditions for it. So instead we got to stay at the reception and hang out with our loved ones vs. leaving the reception and rushing back. I cant wait to work with Summer again, it is definitely a must!

her prior experience. I have to say, she is the very best choice out there for Indianapolis area brides! Her prices are extremely reasonable, and she lets you have all the rights to your photos. That's where other photographers trick you. Their prices may seem okay, but then you have to buy every single print that you desire through them, and they totally overcharge you, and they always own the rights to your photos. Not only does Summer let you own the pictures, but she emails you a copy of everything on a CD AND sets you up with a port online where you can access your photos AND order through her IF you chose to do so.
Summer is extremely talented. Her artistic knowledge shows not only through her photos but the way she deals with people. She is energetic, organized, polite and respectful. I felt so comfortable with her and so did my husband, even though he only met her once before the wedding, very briefly.
There is no one with more talent, passion, and professionalism that I would recommend to be your photographer. You can't go wrong with Summer.

She provided the pictures on a disc, (within a reasonable time frame or even earlier) which I prefer so I can choose them and print whatever I want to and even post them to facebook without any restrictions on them. Since our wedding we have recommended her to other people. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely choose her, she will help calm you on your wedding day and when you get your wedding disc you are thankful at the pictures you see of people who you personally didn't even get a chance to speak to at your wedding! :) Thanks Summer!
