We are SO thrilled with our decision to hire Summer for watercolor portraits for our rehearsal dinner/welcome party. They were a huge hit, and so nice to be able to send guests home with a special keepsake. Summer was incredibly easy to work with, responsive, and delivered above and beyond! Would highly recommend!

About this vendor
Live Wedding Painting in Chicago, IL
Add an artsy touch to your wedding with a live guest painter. At Sumthing Artsy, I turn your guests' likenesses into 5x7 hand-painted keepsakes they can take home and treasure for years to come!
How it Works
1. Guests stop by my table and have a quick reference photo taken.
2. I begin painting portraits in the order the photos are taken, while guests return to enjoy the event.
3. Completed portraits are packaged in protective sleeves and displayed for guests to pick up and take home as a custom keepsake!
Bookings are completely customizable based on your personal preferences. Painting typically begins before or during cocktail hour and then continues through dinner and into the reception. Most weddings book 4 to 5 hours of live guest portrait painting for the full guest experience. Each portrait takes approximately 6 to 10 minutes, meaning I may complete up to 10 portraits live per hour.
What if I Don't Finish Painting Everyone
Some packages may include the remaining portraits completed in my studio and mailed to you after the event. Delight your guests with a memorable, interactive experience and gift them a personalized keepsake they'll treasure for years to come! Complete your booking today and don't let your date get away!

l to this day (almost 4 months post wedding) my friends are talking about their portraits. Some have even framed them. I am so happy that my friends have wedding favors that they truly value and will appreciate. I would 10/10 hire again for any type of event that you want your guests to take home something special and 100% unique.
