hly recommend if you are looking for a wedding photographer. She perfectly captured the romantic, fairy tale mood we wanted. Her day-of presence never made us feel stressed, rushed, tired, or fake; it was like having your best friend take pictures of you. She caught every single moment thanks to the detailed itinerary she worked out with us, and the editing was true-to-life and made us look our best while still showcasing the style that drew us to her. We received a ton of sneak peek pictures before we even finished our honeymoon. Our second shooter, Julie, was fun and helpful, and really made sure we had coverage everywhere.

Santa Barbara. We had all of our vendors set a year prior and, unfortunately for us, our wedding was cancelled by our venue due to severe weather conditions THE NIGHT BEFORE. While most of our vendors were sympathetic and offered us a refund, our original photographer was not so accommodating. We decided to part ways and eat the cost that the original photographer charged us. Then began the scrambling to find a new photographer on short notice for our new wedding date. In came Ellie! She was so sweet and empathetic. She offered to help us out, knowing that we could not fully afford her services. We met Ellie for an engagement photo session in Washington and they came out AMAZING! My husband and I were pretty awkward in front of the camera, but she made us feel so comfortable. She was able to give us cues to help us capture exactly what we wanted. Her light and airy photography style was exactly what we were looking for and she was able to capture not only the beautiful scenery, but our love for each other as well. During the time between the engagement shoot and the wedding, she was always in contact with us regarding timelines and helping me plan how the day would run. Her attention to detail and experience made the day run smoothly and right on time. Wedding days are super stressful, but Ellie is so engaging and warm that she made us feel at ease and the photos far exceeded our expectations. She was able to capture the sweet moments we had interacting with our family/friends. Her photography skills are amazing and she left us with memories that we will cherish forever. She puts so much love into her work and it really shows with her interactions and the work she shares. She is not only a great photographer, but a great person as well. She is so kind and cheerful and we are so grateful to have met her. We plan to reach out to her to capture every milestone in our lives. I recommend Sun & Sparrow 1000% to everyone that asks!
