hing from start to finish was easy, fun, and the final photos and videos were stunning. Initial booking: Really easy to book online and Casey reached out quickly. After looking through their gallery online and an initial FaceTime call where we talked about what we were looking for it was clear to us this was the best fit. Pre-wedding Communication: Phenomenal; I had a last minute change in plans for engagement photos and Casey was awesome about changing it up and we booked a new time for photos in the spring. They are prompt with communication but also reach out if you just forget to think about engagement photos or when they need more info for the final wedding plans. Wedding Day: The sun prairie team (we had 4 total, Casey, Michael, plus two additional) were all wonderful. They had a plan for what shots we wanted plus have a ton of experience and know what shots to get even if we wouldn't have considered it. They were exceptionally kind and patient with our family including multiple toddlers and a dog while navigating family pictures. They were always around if you needed something but also disappeared into the background and allowed the wedding and reception to happen; getting great candid photos and capturing the night perfectly. The after: -Video: Michael reached out to ask for our opinion on the highlight video and was even super nice when we realized that the very first draft he made was better than the edited version we thought we wanted. The highlight video looked awesome and the full video was perfect as well. Michael captured every important moment including great audio. -Photos: We received the sneak peak of the day pretty quick after the wedding, maybe a week after which included quite a few photos. The final gallery was ready about 2 months after the wedding and were stunning. The day was captured perfectly and I can't imagine a better outcome. Overall thoughts: I would recommend Sun Prairie Films for Photo and Video to everyone. If you look at their gallery and like that style please talk to them about booking. Not only is the final product phenomenal but Michael and Casey are just good people and make the process fun and stress free.

dding video. Beyond the beautiful photos and videos, what sets them apart is the little things. They responded to our postponement (covid) with kindness and empathy. Casey was thoughtful enough to text us kind words on our should’ve been wedding day. The planning process was extremely easy. When I didn’t know the answers to certain questions about our venue, Casey would go out of her way to find them out (taking things off my plate which was very much appreciated). They even bought us drinks at one of our planning meetings- definitely not needed, but again it’s the little things! Leading up to our wedding day I felt very confident that they would deliver and they most definitely did. Casey couldn’t be there for our wedding since covid turned our engagement into 3 years and she had a baby just days before our new date, but the transition to one of her great friends/photographers was seamless. Michael and the entire team were great throughout our entire wedding day. I was the thoroughly impressed by everyone, including the assistants. If you want beautiful photos/videos plus some stress taken off your plate, definitely hire them! :)

irst vendor we booked for our wedding, more than a year before our big day because we were certain that they would be the best investment we made. And we were right. The work that they do is unmatched! We have spent hours looking at our photos, laughing and crying and finding new things we love each time we look at them. It was really important to us that we got candids of everyone at our wedding, in addition to a list I sent to Casey with staged shots I wanted - and they over delivered. I can't express what a joy it was to receive our pictures and see all the little moments we missed (wedding day is crazy for the bride and groom!) and how tired my face was from smiling as we went through them. We also hired Michael to do a video for us, and OMG(!!!!) it's absolute magic. The details captured, the thought put into the work that he does, how comfortable and easy it was to be in front of the camera...I seriously can't say enough good things. Michael and Casey are pure gold. They make it easy, they make it FUN, they make it so special and they have such talent for their craft. e our wedding, we got some help and we’re able to book Sun Prairie Films, and OH MY GOD, we are grateful! First of all, Michael was amazing. Super relaxed and chill, gave us a great price and definitely added a great vibe to our wedding. What I mean by that is that he is super friendly, got along with our photographer, and even cracked jokes with us and our wedding party. It felt like he wasn’t just documenting us, but that he was a part of our wedding and I loved that! I’ve had a videographer for my quince (15th birthday party) long ago, and they were so awkward! Whereas Michael was chilling with us, yet professional! We got our video back long before we even got our photos (different photography company). We paid for raw footage of the day as well as a highlight video. The highlight video!!! I am obsessed! He constantly emailed us with new drafts before giving us a final cut. We appreciated being a part of that process. The sound quality was amazing! I was surprised since it was outdoors and next to a river. I didn’t have a traditional father/daughter dance (as he had passed years ago), and instead had a VIP dance where all the important men in my life took turns dancing to my father’s favorite song. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have that on video! It was such a beautiful moment that wouldn’t be the same if I only had pictures to go by. After we had our engagement shoot with our main photographer I asked if she had any suggestions for videographers that were top notch and priced decently. She then informed me that the husband of the second photographer for our big day was a very talented videographer that she has known for over 20 years. I gave Michael a call, he sent me package information (the package we chose included 8 hrs coverage, full length video & a 6 minute highlight video for social media. I booked him the next day, the process was very easy! Fast forward to the day of, Michael showed up early to my bridal suite and worked hard the entire day/night capturing all our special moments. He is super laid back and made everyone feel very comfortable. Two short weeks after the wedding (so fast!) he sent me the draft of our highlight video and was very patient with me through the edits I suggested (his work was beautiful to begin with, I am just very picky!) We are blown away with the final product, its a perfect balance of intimate and fun. He is very talented and he has a knack for catching the little things that meant so meaningful. We are so beyond glad that we chose SPF to capture our memories to cherish for years to come. If you choose SPF for your videography you will not be disappointed, one of the best vendors we hired! We also thoroughly enjoyed having Casey as our second photographer she captured some amazing shots, was great at catching the little adjustments that have big impacts on photos and was a pro at wrangling the groomsmen.
