Michael was awesome! He was super professional and worked really well with our photographer. After reviewing his work, we were pretty easily convinced that Michael was going to be the perfect videographer for us, and we were pretty quickly proven correct! He showed up early to get set up and meet everyone, and captured everything perfectly. Sun Prairie Films, (Casey and Mike) are the best option you can get for your wedding. We have been in love with our photos and videos since we got them back and still find engagement and wedding photos that we want to print off because they were all perfect. We were married this past September and cannot say enough good things about Casey and Michael at Sun Prairie Films. We booked them for photo and video (highly recommend) and everything from start to finish was easy, fun, and the final photos and videos were stunning. Initial booking: Really easy to book online and Casey reached out quickly. After looking through their gallery online and an initial FaceTime call where we talked about what we were looking for it was clear to us this was the best fit. Pre-wedding Communication: Phenomenal; I had a last minute change in plans for engagement photos and Casey was awesome about changing it up and we booked a new time for photos in the spring. They are prompt with communication but also reach out if you just forget to think about engagement photos or when they need more info for the final wedding plans. Wedding Day: The sun prairie team (we had 4 total, Casey, Michael, plus two additional) were all wonderful. They had a plan for what shots we wanted plus have a ton of experience and know what shots to get even if we wouldn't have considered it. They were exceptionally kind and patient with our family including multiple toddlers and a dog while navigating family pictures. They were always around if you needed something but also disappeared into the background and allowed the wedding and reception to happen; getting great candid photos and capturing the night perfectly. The after: -Video: Michael reached out to ask for our opinion on the highlight video and was even super nice when we realized that the very first draft he made was better than the edited version we thought we wanted. The highlight video looked awesome and the full video was perfect as well. Michael captured every important moment including great audio. -Photos: We received the sneak peak of the day pretty quick after the wedding, maybe a week after which included quite a few photos. The final gallery was ready about 2 months after the wedding and were stunning. The day was captured perfectly and I can't imagine a better outcome. Overall thoughts: I would recommend Sun Prairie Films for Photo and Video to everyone. If you look at their gallery and like that style please talk to them about booking. Not only is the final product phenomenal but Michael and Casey are just good people and make the process fun and stress free.

It was amazing working with Casey! Her photography abilities are fantastic! She captured our wedding so beautifully. I was really stressed about making sure we got good photos for our wedding because they are such an important way that we will be able to remember that day forever. Michael and Casey were exceptional from the first phone call, responding to my initial inquiry email within in an hour! They were able to negotiate a rate within our budget and communicated with us along the way on expectations. Day of the wedding they were prompt and had a smooth flow for everyone who needed pictures. They were flexible throughout the day and caught every moment and more while being personable and easy to work with. We were recommended by a family friend to use them and I am beyond happy we did! I would recommend this husband and wife team for both wedding photography and videography… you will not be disappointed! Michael was so awesome to work with. Not only was he exceptionally kind and patient during the wedding day, but he asked great questions during his editing process, and gave us both a fantastic highlights video and a longer video of the day that felt so in-the-moment the entire time. Both videos were absolutely masterful, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer for their event. We went back and forth a lot on whether or not we wanted to include a videographer in our vendor list, and Michael's work made us so, so happy that we chose to move forward with including a videographer in our big day.

Sun Prairie was our favorite vendor to work with! They were extremely communicative, flexible, and kind. We are absolutely in love with our engagement photos, wedding photos and wedding video. Beyond the beautiful photos and videos, what sets them apart is the little things. They responded to our postponement (covid) with kindness and empathy. Casey was thoughtful enough to text us kind words on our should’ve been wedding day. The planning process was extremely easy. When I didn’t know the answers to certain questions about our venue, Casey would go out of her way to find them out (taking things off my plate which was very much appreciated). They even bought us drinks at one of our planning meetings- definitely not needed, but again it’s the little things! Leading up to our wedding day I felt very confident that they would deliver and they most definitely did. Casey couldn’t be there for our wedding since covid turned our engagement into 3 years and she had a baby just days before our new date, but the transition to one of her great friends/photographers was seamless. Michael and the entire team were great throughout our entire wedding day. I was the thoroughly impressed by everyone, including the assistants. If you want beautiful photos/videos plus some stress taken off your plate, definitely hire them! :)

Casey was professional and easy to work with; my wife and I hired her to photograph our wedding in July 2020 and couldn't be happier with the results. She (and Michael, who attended as a guest) helped keep stress to a minimum by communicating well and giving experienced advice when solicited. My husband and I could not have asked for a better, more accommodating, or more professional videographer. We were supposed to be married in Vail on December 4. 12 days before the wedding, it was canceled and we moved the wedding to Laguna Beach, CA. Michael booked his flight to come to our wedding without hesitation and went above and beyond all day. He captured all of the important moments and even stayed late to make sure he got everything. He was beyond professional, patient, and kind and worked so well with our photographer. Our highlight and full length videos are everything we imagined and more!! We were initially dead set on only having a photographer and NOT needing a videographer. However, after speaking with Michael and going back and forth, we are so happy we decided to commit to videography. I cannot recommend Michael from Sun Prairie Films enough!! We had Michael work alone on our special day, but that did stop him from capturing every single special moment. He also paid close attention to the small details of our wedding day, which made our video that much more special. The drone was amazing too! Michael responds F A S T. I had an interesting issue of not being able to get videographers to respond fast which gave me a looming suspicious feeling that working with them would lack the communication I desired with vendors - so after speaking with Michael and going over my vision he was so easy to work with, very laid back. The hardest part of planning a wedding a year in advance is how easily things can change and he easily went with the flow and was on time and ready to go. I would recommend him for any event that is special you may want to catch on video.

Casey and Michael and their team were amazing to work with! We planned a wedding in Colorado all the way from Indiana and they helped us all the way! We had never been to Colorado, they found the perfect spots to get all our pictures taken and there work is amazing! I can’t thank them enough for making our day one we will be able to remember for years to come! Michael was such a joy to work with! He was a videographer for my wedding as well as my brothers. He does a great job capturing moments, but you also barely notice he is there! I've tried writing this review for weeks, and I just haven't been able to find the words to express how incredible and magical it is to work with Casey and Michael. They were the first vendor we booked for our wedding, more than a year before our big day because we were certain that they would be the best investment we made. And we were right. The work that they do is unmatched! We have spent hours looking at our photos, laughing and crying and finding new things we love each time we look at them. It was really important to us that we got candids of everyone at our wedding, in addition to a list I sent to Casey with staged shots I wanted - and they over delivered. I can't express what a joy it was to receive our pictures and see all the little moments we missed (wedding day is crazy for the bride and groom!) and how tired my face was from smiling as we went through them. We also hired Michael to do a video for us, and OMG(!!!!) it's absolute magic. The details captured, the thought put into the work that he does, how comfortable and easy it was to be in front of the camera...I seriously can't say enough good things. Michael and Casey are pure gold. They make it easy, they make it FUN, they make it so special and they have such talent for their craft. If you're on the fence about a photographer / videographer, this is the team you need to book. You will have zero regrets, I promise.

We hired Sun Prairie to do videography for our winter wedding! It was a great choice and we are so happy with the footage they got! Michael is extremely friendly and you can tell he is so passionate about capturing your day! I barely noticed him the whole day, which I think is the mark of a good videographer—he didn’t feel intrusive at all but managed to capture intimate moments. After our day, he was open to feedback about our highlight video and changed some of the music at my request with no complaints or issues. I highly recommend hiring Sun Prairie for your wedding because they will make you feel important and special and deliver great products after that help you relive your wedding day over and over!

Michael did an incredible job capturing all our beautiful moments in our wedding. He was easy to work with and was open to feedback throughout the process. Michael was willing to customize the highlight video for us and was very generous with revisions. I know our revisions weren’t the easiest and our requests were laborious but Michael had a great attitude and was very kind in making sure we got what we wanted. I would definitely recommend them!

Okay, let me start off by saying, we almost didn’t have a videographer. We thought that pictures would be enough and we didn’t have a big budget. But then about a month or so before our wedding, we got some help and we’re able to book Sun Prairie Films, and OH MY GOD, we are grateful! First of all, Michael was amazing. Super relaxed and chill, gave us a great price and definitely added a great vibe to our wedding. What I mean by that is that he is super friendly, got along with our photographer, and even cracked jokes with us and our wedding party. It felt like he wasn’t just documenting us, but that he was a part of our wedding and I loved that! I’ve had a videographer for my quince (15th birthday party) long ago, and they were so awkward! Whereas Michael was chilling with us, yet professional! We got our video back long before we even got our photos (different photography company). We paid for raw footage of the day as well as a highlight video. The highlight video!!! I am obsessed! He constantly emailed us with new drafts before giving us a final cut. We appreciated being a part of that process. The sound quality was amazing! I was surprised since it was outdoors and next to a river. I didn’t have a traditional father/daughter dance (as he had passed years ago), and instead had a VIP dance where all the important men in my life took turns dancing to my father’s favorite song. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have that on video! It was such a beautiful moment that wouldn’t be the same if I only had pictures to go by. If you are wondering whether or not to book a videographer, go with Sun Prairie Films! We are looking forward to working with them again for any videography and photography needs in the future!

Michael is AMAZING. He was able to capture our day so perfectly. Cassie took time to meet with us beforehand and sent us a wonderful questionnaire to aid in the photography process. We LOVED the drone coverage that Michael did, and the highlight video turned out perfect! We got all our photos back from Casey in about a month and enjoyed sneak peaks on social media while we waited. We had a very specific request for video - just the ceremony and speeches - and Sun Prairie Films did a great job getting just that without getting in the way.

I had the pleasure of working with both Casey and Michael on my wedding day. I was an out of state bride with a short engagement (117 days) and I wasn't really sure if videography was something I needed or could fit in our budget. After we had our engagement shoot with our main photographer I asked if she had any suggestions for videographers that were top notch and priced decently. She then informed me that the husband of the second photographer for our big day was a very talented videographer that she has known for over 20 years. I gave Michael a call, he sent me package information (the package we chose included 8 hrs coverage, full length video & a 6 minute highlight video for social media. I booked him the next day, the process was very easy! Fast forward to the day of, Michael showed up early to my bridal suite and worked hard the entire day/night capturing all our special moments. He is super laid back and made everyone feel very comfortable. Two short weeks after the wedding (so fast!) he sent me the draft of our highlight video and was very patient with me through the edits I suggested (his work was beautiful to begin with, I am just very picky!) We are blown away with the final product, its a perfect balance of intimate and fun. He is very talented and he has a knack for catching the little things that meant so meaningful. We are so beyond glad that we chose SPF to capture our memories to cherish for years to come. If you choose SPF for your videography you will not be disappointed, one of the best vendors we hired! We also thoroughly enjoyed having Casey as our second photographer she captured some amazing shots, was great at catching the little adjustments that have big impacts on photos and was a pro at wrangling the groomsmen. One of the best choices I made for our wedding was hiring Michael as our videographer! There are so many parts of your special day that you don't see (being the bride & groom) and it's the best gift getting to re-live it all through video. They did an excellent job capturing our wedding. We had an incredible looking engagement shoot (we went to Elitch Gardens which set some very cool shots). The day of they were on time everywhere, were very responsive, and seemed very invested in making us look as good as possible.

Michael was incredibly accommodating and friendly from the first email correspondence to the final product. It literally was the day before our wedding when we signed the contract, as a videographer was initially not in our budget but was incredibly important to us. Michael worked with us and delivered an amazing product. He was professional, inconspicuous, and thorough on the our wedding day. I love our highlight video, and we get so many complements on it. Sun Prairie Films videography work is truly wonderful! We worked with Michael for videography for our wedding and could not be happier with the experience and final product. My husband and I can easily say that Sun Prairie Films was our best vendor during our entire wedding event. Casey and the Sun Prairie Films team went above and beyond our expectations. My husband and I live on the Western Slope of Colorado but our families are on the front range. We picked a wedding location and vendors who lived over four hours away from us and I was very concerned. Luckily Casey walked us through every step and dedicated a whole weekend to do our engagement and boudoir photos.
