Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Draper, UT, the Suncrest Reception Center stands as an iconic venue for weddings and special occasions. Initially built in 2000 as a sales center for the Suncrest development atop Corner Canyon, this architectural gem has always been the heart of the community.
The Suncrest Reception Center's intricate attention to detail, grandeur, and inviting mountain living aesthetic make it truly exceptional. Suncrest offers a magical setting, approximately 1500 feet above the Salt Lake Valley floor. Here, you can simultaneously take in the breathtaking views of mountain peaks and city lights. Conveniently located on the border of Salt Lake and Utah Counties, just four miles from the Draper LDS Temple and five miles from I-15, finding the venue is a breeze. The wedding space is very dynamic and adaptable to almost any sized event. Maximum capacity for seated dinner-style celebrations is limited to roughly 90-100. For flowing receptions, they can easily handle 300-400 invites. The uniqueness of the Suncrest Reception Center is its adaptability, as it easily converts to accommodate smaller, more intimate wedding parties.
For the past 5-6 years, the Suncrest Reception Center has hosted countless events on the property, with most of the clientele coming through word of mouth. Suncrest empowers its guests with the freedom to choose their caterers, decorators, florists, and planners. They also offer preferred vendors and decorations available for rent to help you save for that dream honeymoon. We enjoyed working with Brynne to set up our reception in early August. We had many choices to choose from in the decor, and The suggestions that Kelly and Brynne gave us were spot...
on. The garden area is well-maintained, the yard is a perfect set up to do a ring ceremony. We used a caterer that was a recommendation from Brynne and her team, and they provided our guest with really good food. We were able to pack a lot of vendors and decorations into the upstairs space. I do recommend utilizing the outside so you don’t feel cramped; Brynne has ideas that will assist in spreading your party out so people don’t feel like they’re right on top of each other. Make sure that you note the location of the bathrooms, and instruct your guests where they are.
Flexibility is the value I’d love to highlight the most in this review. We had several people become ill due to the heat, and had to quickly move our reception and ring ceremony inside. Brynne sprung into action and our guest assisted her in reworking the reception area to accommodate 100+ people very quickly.

iful outdoors that looks great during all 4 seasons! We were able to get a beautiful venue that was a fair price for both us and the hosting community! Plus, the venue is great for small, intimate parties all the way up to larger parties that include families with little children.
Additionally, the staff was awesome! Reserving the venue was streamlined and straightforward, with no hidden fees or requirements for catering. All the individuals I talked with were understanding, welcoming, and truly cared about us having a great experience at the end of the day! We also were able to access a lot of resources, such as outdoor music, indoor music, microphones, lots of tables, optional decor packages, outdoor table & chair setup (fee required), and a great kitchen where we could serve food the day of, while also storing it the night before!

I could describe it. It only needs minimal decor since the setting is so beautiful. We used the outdoor space for food, games, cake cutting and the first dancing. We then moved inside the had a huge dance party with their built in sound system.The owner was very nice and let us get the food to the venue fridge the night before, no other place would allow that. They set up all the tables and chairs and linens are included. Both Adam and Brynne were helpful in planning and with resolving small issues that were bound to come up. We really loved this place and how unique it was and got so many compliments from our guests. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone getting married or having an event.
