champagne, for our guests. Sundance charged us a fee per basket for delivery to each cabin and then DID NOT DELIVER BASKETS TO SEVERAL GUESTS!
The Sundance Resort gave my wedding planner and vendors incorrect addresses, which caused them to be lost as well as late to important parts of our events.
The transportation provided by the resort would just not show up even after confirming they were coming to pick up guests. When we could get a hold of transportation they would drop guests off at random locations again causing them to be lost. My husband and I were dropped off at 3:00am on the night of our wedding without being shown where our room was despite asking several times where it was located before our event began.
We spent $12k alone on large cabins that were not ready for our wedding party guests by their "guaranteed" 4 pm check in time. The owner of one of the cabins showed up unannounced to do repairs on the cabins where my bridesmaids and I were in the middle of getting ready. Thank god none of us were naked.
Our wedding planner turned in items left behind to the front desk staff. When I went too retrieve said items the staff said they had no idea what we were talking about. Thankfully, I had a picture of the items with the front desk in the background to show them. Still, the iPhone and jewelry were not recovered.
The resort is gorgeous, that is not debatable. However, there are so many stunning places in Utah to get married at. It is my honest advice that you take your hard earned money elsewhere and spend it at a venue that appreciates your business.

ly thing that was an issue was the food prices. Everything adds up really quick and you end up paying a ton for little appetizers, bottle of soda, etc. With that said, they they take pride in their food. The taste and presentation was amazing. After it was all said and done I wasn't even mad about the prices. Such a wonderful place!
I cant say enough for Sundance Resort. The location was a fairytale, the hospitality to all of our guests was overwelmingly amazing and the food and services out of this world.

entire day go off without a hitch...however, the contact and service up until the day of the wedding was very spotty and getting in touch with the service and catering managers up there was DIFFICULT. They were always a few days to get back to me and made planning a wedding very stressful. In the end just because of how the day turned out to be I would do it all over again. Plus, I really don't think there is a more beautiful setting for a wedding than a lodge in the mountains. It was perfect.
