I had the pleasure of working with Sunday Rose Cakes for my wedding, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! So in February, I called the lady to ask her about my mom‘s cake once I asked her about the cake and then said to her how much would $1000 cover because the way it was described to me was that my mom‘s kid wouldn’t feed everybody and it was too small so I wanted to make my mom‘s cake bigger. I did not know at the time that my mom already had ordered the three layer cake. Had the lady said she already ordered a three layer cake I would’ve been said hey, how much would it cost to have a four layer? The lady never did that and I can do whatever I need to do now then I paid the thousand dollars. I’m thinking that the cake would be big when the wedding came the three layers my mom ordered it was there with my mom already had paid $856 is changed. The only thing she did differently with the cake was out of fourth layer which wasn’t that big at all not to mention she had plastic instead of edible on the cake, the plastic stuff was the decorations on the side that makes it look all fancy the knife that we use for the cake because the cake was frozen. I never ordered a frozen cake. My contract will show that matter fact my receipt will show it doesn’t say anything about her frozen cake, long story short this lady values. She’s money hungry, and has a business and she is a black business. I do not recommend her because her cakes are trash and not only are her cakes are trash the flavor that was requested by my mom was not the flavor delivered on wedding day so all that being said, if you want a go to a grocery store, they do not use this lady for anything because she will become combative now the lady already made a deal to return my money because she realized that she didn’t do what she was paid for but failed to deliver the money so it’s cool that she didn’t do it. I just don’t recommend her as a business, she’s dishonest and her kick her trash, just like her attitude. Last part is she went against the contract. The contract was with my mom then I had a separate one with her. He can add what I did to my mom‘s contract and then get mad when we call you out on it because you didn’t even deliver the right flavor you didn’t even deliver the right choices of the cake matter Fat you deliver the wrong cake in the first place so yeah you did some work but you didn’t do the right work and so when we do file our claim with Navy Federal there ain’t much you can do because there’s 80+ people that’s gonna say the same thing. I said your cake is terrible and it was frozen and it broke the utensils, so you can be mad and fuss all you want it is what it is but at the end of the day sloppy and you need to go back to some kind of school to learn how to Customer Servise product presentation because you don’t have that and if you don’t like what I say it is what it is you can’t do nothing about it because everybody else gonna say the same thing I just said. Lady you tried it and got over now yiur caught

After not hearing back from any other bakery in the area, Sunday Rose Cakes got back to me within an hour of the inquiry I made. I was sitting at her dining room table for a tasting the following weekend. She was fun & personable, not to mention her cakes were amazing! We chose a top layer of chocolate and a bottom layer of her biscoff cake. Both were amazing. Her chocolate cake isn't super sweet which I personally prefer. She's also got this wonder lavender cake that would go great with a tea party in Spring!!! 100% will recommend her as a top bakery in Fredericksburg.

Sunday Rose is everything we didn’t know we needed. Our wedding cake was delicious. She makes a delicious buttercream that just melts in your mouth it’s so dang good. It’s not filled with 100lbs of sugar and artificial flavoring just pure unadulterated goodness. She also made a fondant for our cake because it was going to be near a window in 100 degree weather and honestly you couldn’t even tell it was fondant because even that was delicious. During our meeting her and I discussed my abstract cake decor idea and she 1000000000% nailed it. The cake was gorgeous. It’s been a week and people are still asking us about it.
