Laura and her team are the absolute best. Besides the amazing food that she put her heart and soul into for our wedding, you can tell she truly cared about making us happy. She was so helpful for the entire year and a half we were planning. She assisted with rentals, the venue and anything I was unsure of she knew exactly how to handle. I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her. Her food is 100000/10. My guests were raving the entire time and days after about how great everything tasted. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

We hired Sunflower Catering and Event Planning for a backyard wedding. Laura and her team were amazing! Laura was readily available to us all throughout the planning stage. She was quick to respond to all of our emails and phone calls, and she made all the arrangements with the party rental service. Everything went flawlessly on the day of the wedding even though moments prior to Laura’s team arrival to set up everything (tables, chairs, place settings , floral arrangements, bar, cocktail tables, and food prep) a thunderstorm swept in and it continued to downpour for the next half hour. Laura’s team remained cool and calm, and everything looked lovely upon the arrival of our guests. I might add that by that time the storm had passed , the skies were blue, and the sun was shining. Can’t say for sure if Laura and her crew had anything to do with that, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they did! The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. We received countless compliments from our guests regarding both the quality of the food and the impeccable service. The team did an amazing job cleaning up, breaking everything down, and storing away all of the rental goods. Upon their departure our home was restored to order and very clean! I am so grateful to Laura and her team. They relieved us of so much of the stress that can come with planning a large event, and the outcome could not have been more perfect! I would hire Laura and her team in a heartbeat and will be referring her to friends for future events.

Laura and Michele were fabulous!! They were friendly and the food was outstanding!! I hired them for my daughters bachelorette in the Hamptons and they did not disappoint! I would highly recommend! I wish I took more photos!!

Chef Laura cooked a private dinner for a bachelorette party in our home, and we had the best time!! She was on time, delightful, and so easy to work with. Our guests had such a relaxing time and the most delicious meal. There was a wide array of menu choices to pick from as well. I would definitely recommend Chef Laura to anyone who is interested.

Laura was amazing from the moment we met with her to the wedding day. Throughout the wedding process she did so much from helping us find a venue when our venue cancelled on us last minute to setting everything up the day of the wedding to make it look beautiful. The food was incredible, everyone loved it. Best decision we made to make our wedding day amazing!

We hired Sunflowers for an engagement party for our son. Chef Laura and her staff did an absolutely outstanding job! Prompt, professional, engaging and involved with our guests, and the food was AMAZING! We couldn't be happier with how the day went! Sunflowers catering and event planning did an amazing job for my son and daughter inlaws engagement party on June 22, 2019. From the planning to the actual event Laura and her staff did a wonderful job the delicious food, excellent service and attention to detail were noticed by all. Having Laura running the event allowed us to relax and enjoy the party. I highly recommend her and her team and am looking forward to working with them in the future.

I booked Laura to cook a private dinner for my sister's bachelorette party and I cannot recommend her highly enough! Laura was such a pleasure to work with, and was extremely helpful and accommodating in setting a menu for a large party of 16 guests with dietary restrictions. She prepared a separate dish for one vegetarian guest, and even brought an additional appetizer and cooked a separate pasta dish just for my sister, who went dairy-free a week before the event. As the dinner was a surprise, Laura and her staff arrived early to set the table for us and begin cooking so that the passed appetizers would be ready and the dining room would be specially decorated when we arrived back at the house. The food was phenomenal, and Laura and Michelle were so kind and professional throughout the night. They left the kitchen spotless and supplied tupperware, which they packed up with leftovers that we could enjoy the next day. It was such a pleasure to work with Laura, and my sister and her friends cannot stop raving about how fun the night was and how special she made my sister's bachelorette dinner!

We hired Laura and her team for our daughter’s outdoor bridal shower. In June 2017. The theme design, attention to detail, service and food were outstanding. Laura pays close attention to every detail and works with clients to help their vision become a reality. We were so thrilled with everything that we hired Laura again for our daughter’s recent baby shower! We highly recommend Laura for event planning and all your catering needs!

A good time was had by all! I hired Sunflowers Catering and Event Planning to do my daughter's Bridal Shower a couple of weeks ago after reviewing the company online. The owner, Laura Costa, was friendly, professional, and accommodating to all my wishes. It was a brunch and the food was delicious. The highlights were the macaroni and cheese bites, the fresh made crepes and the baked oatmeal cups. There were 5 servers who were also very friendly and efficient. Mimosas and Bellinis flowed freely! I did not have to worry about a thing. All went very smoothly and my guests were impressed. 5 stars!

I don't know where to begin. Laura was hired to help us get through our daughters dream wedding day. She sent staff to the house to make sure my daughter and her bridesmades had everything they needed including small bites while the girls were getting ready. She also made sure the Groom and Groomsmen ate. If that wasn't enough she oversaw our rentals, including tents, were correct and delivered on schedule. The food and service she provided was amazing. She made sure our special requests were met and exceeded our expectations. You will not be disappointed. You have to order the Pear and Prosciutto Pizza. She accomodates any cuisine and style. I highly reccomend Sunflowers. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Laura for paying attention to detail and making our daughter's wedding uneventful.

Laura and co knocked it out of the park catering our wedding! She adapted to our unorthodox location (NYC backyard) and accommodated my wife's vegan food requests (including a DELICIOUS cake!) In addition, the non vegan food was simply delicious, the steak was the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!
