I tell my wife I have NEVER looked as good as I do in my wedding photos, either before or since. Okay, the slightly longer review: Sunny is, as her name implies, a bright ray of sunshine. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and having her around felt fun, not like a chore! She is tremendously personable, sweet, and...well, her name seriously captures her character. You will feel like you've found a friend, not just a wedding photographer. The summer camp we had our wedding at needs a bit of a creative touch to identify good angles with which to take photos from, and Sunny found them! I look at my wedding photos and think "Man, what a BEAUTIFUL place". It actually is a nice place, but Sunny captured the beauty lying underneath the surface. One of my favorite things about her is that she is good at capturing her people's personality, quirks, and all-around "you-ness." I'm looking at one of the photos Sunny took right now as I write this review. It's a printed photo on my desk of my wife cracking this super cute smile that exudes child-like delight. Sunny was able to capture that very smile! And now I get to experience it whenever. She was also PROMPT with her photos. On time, and delivered seamlessly via an online website that allows you to download them over several days. So, all that to say...if you like what you see in her photos, you will be even MORE blessed when you work directly with her. Sunny was, and is, an awesome person and a phenomenal wedding photographer.

We contacted Sunny right away and upon first conversation, we knew she was THE ONE! We absolutely loved her upbeat personality and her energy and her willingness to help. Sunny answered every question I had-which was a ton- was patient and gave good advice. To say the she went above and beyond for me is a understatment . Yall, Sunny picked me up the day of my wedding . You read that right. SHE PICKED ME UP AND DROVE ME TO MY WEDDING!!! This is so above and beyond her job description. Our officiant was late causing our timeline to be pushed back and Sunny stayed past the time I had paid her for all while keeping a smile on her face. Sunny even helped us clean up our picnic at the end of the shoot. You do not find people like Sunny often and I am so blessed to have had her capture my most important day. After our elopement we had a separate honeymoon shoot with Sunny at the top of a mountain. hubby and I are DEFIENTLY not models but Sunny was able to guide us on certain things that gave us so many good photos. It felt effortless & most importantly stress free working with Sunny. She pays attention to details and will go the extra mile to ensure you get the best shots. Book Sunny, you won't regret it! y. After asking me some get-to-know-you questions about who we are and what we were looking for, Sunny presented me with a couple package options that would best fit what we wanted. Zero-pressure, super clear and thorough explanation of what’s included, so it was an easy decision for us. For the day of the ceremony, Sunny was super prompt and she scoped out our beach wedding site to find the best spot to set up my groom for our first look. She was amazingly friendly and upbeat; even as I was stressing a little with nerves, she guided me gently all the way to my guy, and we playfully joked along the path. After our first look, we made our way to the ceremony location, and Sunny helped us choose the best placement for the background to be lovely, right under a palm tree. Following the ceremony and family pictures, Sunny was open to my husband’s suggestion for some photo locations in a rocky area, and she didn’t miss a beat as we climbed up and around to find the best spots for photos. I really appreciated how kind Sunny was, from small encouraging compliments along the way, to laughing with us in our silly awkwardness trying not to try too hard to have our pictures taken. She made sure to include all the poses I asked for, and helped us remember to “shake it out” when we sometimes got too stiff. My husband and I both were so happy and grateful to have Sunny as our photographer; we agreed that she just fit with our day so well, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Lastly, the pictures were stunning! Really beautiful, and everything I hoped for! I have been looking at them over and over for a few weeks on my computer background slideshow, and sometimes I still am pleasantly surprised by how amazing they are. I would recommend Sunny to anyone looking for a wedding or other special moment photographer, and I really hope to have more opportunities to work with her again in the future!

shoot for later in the year. My husband and I had not done any type of shoot prior to our shoot with Sunny and we had a blast. She made the process fun, easy, and totally enjoyable! We even had a rainstorm in the middle of the session and she totally made it work! We love how she was able to capture our love. 10/10 recommend!

I had also mentioned to her that I was so excited to be moving to Hawaii because I wanted pictures that looked sunny and bright and she even rescheduled our date so that we could have the best weather possible for our photos! My husband is a little stiff sometimes and I was worried that he wouldn't loosen up but working with Sunny was like working with an old friend we had known forever. She recommended Kahana Bay in the evening time to get warm, cool tones, and my husband and I got to even jump in the water and got some really cool pictures of that.

so booked a Post Bridal Session with her which I HIGHLY recommend. All the shots came out BEAUTIFUL, and I especially loved her eye for all the details!! On my wedding day a lot of things rushed by quickly and it was sooo nice to look back on everything and truly appreciate the way she captured it. Moreover, my husband's grandpa passed away just a few weeks after our wedding. There was one moment on the dance floor where he got up to dance with a huge smile on his face, and we were BEYOND GRATEFUL that Sunny captured that moment! Our family cried tears of happiness remembering him as they looked at those photos. Truly, the work of a quality photographer is so worth it, and that moment she captured is priceless. Her price was extremely competitive with other professional photographers out there and we think we received a wonderful value for the quality of our total experience with her. We loved her candid style of photos - she gave us an idea of how to walk/interact, but there was minimal "posing".
