Sunny Moon

We had a GREAT experience with Sunny. I was a little unsure about hiring a DJ to begin with because of the cost involved and the fact that we had multiple ipods full of dance-able music. However, in hindsight I am SO INCREDIBLY glad we hired a dj…it made the day way less stressful. Sunny did a great job listening to our wants/needs-he even gave us a CD of all of the songs we had requested prior to the wedding day! It was a nice, personal touch and I will treasure it. Sunny was professional and personable. He was able to get a feel for moment and determine what to play from there. If a song was requested by a guest that would totally kill the mood he would be honest and try to play it later when the mood was different. I was impressed and would recommend him to others.

Sunny was a really nice guy when we met with him. we just felt he was a little too old for the vibe we were trying to feel.

No really...we literally couldn't dance any more. Sunny was a fantastic DJ. He really got a feel for our guests and what they liked to dance to and there was not one time there wasn't a big crowd dancing. My grandma even stayed to the very end (which was way past her bed time :). We asked him to do the ceremony music which was beautiful and captured the mood I was wanted (think Meet Joe Black at the big birthday party...though not as expensive...I'm not a millionaire). The reception was only a short five/ten minute walk from the ceremony and he had magically packed up the ceremony and headed over to the reception to change and set up before the guests got there. He and his associate even made us a little cd of some of the songs played. My only issue was he sat right behind us at the ceremony in plane view with his equipment and he was wearing plain jeans and a t-shirt. Not a big deal to me at all except I hope he doesn't show up in pictures like that since he was right there. He changed into a fantastic tuxedo for the ceremony though. I'm sure if you think ahead of time and specifically ask him to be out of the way he would do it for you.

Sunny did such an awesome job. He kept the crowd going, read likes and dislikes. Lots of the older crowd said this was the first wedding reception they had stayed until the end for a long time (and it didn't end until 11pm!) Great job - recommend to all!
