The Gatsby room was the perfect room for our small intimate wedding and the outside barn was perfectly lit and just wonderful for our ceremony. The food was incredible and we loved all the options. They Sunnybrook also works closely with a lot of nearby vendors which is where we found our cake baker, dj and wonderful photographer! All around a wonderful experience created by this wonderful venue!

JoAnne was super helpful in answering every single question I had before we said yes to having the ceremony and reception at Sunnybrook. Brittany was our wedding coordinator and she is seriously the most amazing human being. She was on top of everything and could literally read my mind in knowing what I wanted for our dream wedding. I never stressed because I didn’t have anything to stress about. Brittany made our day so PERFECT and we can’t thank her enough!! We had our ceremony in the outdoor social house which gave me my country/rustic dream ceremony onto the reception, in the very uniquely beautiful Gatby’s indoor venue. The food was so delicious, our family is still raving about the hors d’oeuvres. Our “Signature”drinks were a hit all night, not to forget the amazing service of all the Sunnybrook staff. SunnyBrook was everything we wanted and more and we would recommend them over and over again for your wedding venue :)

With my husband and I out of work for a little because of COVID-19, JoAnne helped us out tremendously by being so flexible and understanding during these unprecedented times. Brittney was amazing! She set up all of my decorations and even added her own in. She has a great eye for style and helped make my day look that much more beautiful. The SunnyBrook covers ceremony space, reception area, food, bar, and even cake! They work with a local bakery (Beverly’s Pastry Shop) and include your cake in the total price, which helped me a ton! The cake was incredible, by the way. My guests LOVED everything about the venue! First of all, it’s beautiful! The best man even used the term “grandiose”. The food and bar were even better!! My guests were constantly talking about how great the food was but, more importantly, how great the bar and bartenders were! The whole staff at the SunnyBrook Ballroom was amazing. So professional yet so personable, and my guests were a lot to handle. During these tumultuous times, the SunnyBrook ballroom did their best to make sure our day was as “normal” and perfect as it could be, and it was. I highly, highly, highly recommend the SunnyBrook as your wedding venue choice!

I had basically given up hope of anything resembling a traditional wedding, which would have worked given a global pandemic, but Sunnybrook did a great job of helping us get a wedding together in under a month! The execution of the day was flawless and every part of the staff did an awesome job. I could think of no one else I’d rather have in my corner helping me with the lead up and all the way through the day than their coordinator Brittany. Thank you so much. From day 1 they always had great communication skills, which allowed us to have a stress free wedding! COVID, you need all of that times a thousand. We had been through two dates and two venues when we reached out to SunnyBrook a month and a half before we wanted to get married. At SunnyBrook, we felt like they exceeded everything we could have expected. Brittany is so creative and truly understands the feelings of every bride and groom. Joanne makes you feel as though you are part of her family, and treats you with such kindness every time you need or request something. Eric took care of us the entire wedding planning journey, but especially the day of the wedding. SunnyBrook saved our COVID wedding, and we could not be happier with how it turned out. We truly feel apart of the SunnyBrook family for life now! Thank you!

r and thought Brittany and Joanne were amazing- but were MISTAKEN. Many things went wrong & I don't have enough space. It's to be expected a few things go 'wrong', but not this many! WORST was BRITTANY'S ATTITUDE, which started when she showed up for rehearsal! She was Extremely condescending; clearly annoyed; defensive and argumentative (about the slightest question/reminder); and Blame shifting! Unprofessional & completely different than our other interactions with her! She was never around. Every time something came up (and there were several things) we had to ask a server to get her. Every time, responded with an annoyed attitude! She was rude to everyone. IF she hadn't been so NASTY the entire time- and IF she gave us the impression that she was actually trying to do her job to make this a wonderful experience, we could've overlooked almost everything that went wrong. But instead, we, including the bride, felt UNWELCOME AND LIKE A NUISANCE. * FOOD was disgusting! NOT even close to what we had at the tasting. Worst- Brussels sprouts- suppose to be roasted (so amazing at tasting)-were boiled, under cooked instead, you can image how disgusting! *Serving the cake was a huge disaster- which Brittany blamed on ME! I'll just sum it up by saying that several guests didn't received cake because it was in the kitchen too long. At one point I was told the cake was gone (to my surprise), and then right before the send off- the table was full of cake. *We were told several things that ended up not happening- Ex.-Christmas Decor. of the ballroom was suppose to be more neutral, elegant- gold's and whites. We planned our other decor around that. But they were Red and Greens! We were told by Joanne that those are the "only decorations" they have & she didn't know why we thought otherwise. BUT- the Gold and White decorations did exist & were in the Gatsby part instead! In fact, Joanne's response to many things Brittany (or herself) had told us was similar- "No, don't know why you thought that." *A very upsetting thing - the Ring Bearer's pillow, made by the Bride & her Elderly Grandmother- went "missing" and he walked down without it! I FOUND IT BEHIND A SunnyBrook sign on a table UNDER THE STAIRS in the back of the room, as I was leaving! The night before, it was left on the table, labeled by Brittany herself, with all the other things for the wedding, but somehow ended up there? In light of everything else, this completely felt intentional. Especially because of the issue we had with Brittany over the ring bearer at rehearsal. She didn't like the idea that we expected such a young child (1 1/2 years old) to walk down by himself and repeatedly tried to change the bride's plans. We said we wanted him to try and she made it obvious that she didn't agree. So, the pillow "mysteriously" being "misplaced" is very suspicious. He did amazing BTW! Just didn't have his pillow, thanks to Brittany's "incompetence". *Even had an issue with getting all our decorations afterwards- in which Brittany told me one thing and then Joanne rudely insinuated that my husband and I were lying about what we were told! I could list several more things- but you get the idea. Don't chose Sunnybrook- unless they get new management and a different event coordinator.

lthough, If you’re looking for a more rustic approach they do have a charming barn I’m sure you will love! We had our reception in the ballroom which is absolutely stunning and elegant! I personally give a huge thank you to Brittany, JoAnne, Sebastian, and everyone who helped with our wedding day! Everyone handled the day with professionalism, ease, and cheer to make our wedding a memorable one. Instead of worrying about a stressful day, the people there made the process and day go so smoothly and timely. We appreciate it so much! It was an amazing day and everyone is still talking about how much fun they had. It really brought us closer together as a whole family. Our parents, Husband, and Myself couldn’t have done it without you all. It was truly a day I’ll always remember!

nd the stage was an added bonus as we knew we wanted a live band during the reception. But we knew we found the perfect spot the moment we walked into the Social House – you have to check it out. We didn’t have to think about it anymore – we found our venue. JoAnne and Brittany made the process of planning our wedding super easy and they listened to what we wanted for our special day. They were able to accommodate for many of our requests and were honest if they couldn’t. They helped us with providing some items for our center pieces, finding our florist, and finding someone to provide heaters for the Social House (December wedding). The day of the wedding they were always around helping set up for the day and making sure that we had everything we needed. The food was excellent, and appreciated the free tasting. Many compliments about the vegetarian meal. People even asked if we had hired an outside wedding coordinator because they were so impressed with how smoothly and wonderful the night went. You definitely need to check it out for your special day.

The staff was so friendly and the food was incredible.We opted for a buffet so that our guests had options, and it was a hit. I highly recommend the risotto station! My guests could not get enough of that all night. Throughout the night, JoAnne made sure that my husband and I ate and took care of getting us drinks and whatever we needed so that we could enjoy our evening and spend time with our guests. Our reception was outside in the wedding garden, and Brittany did a wonderful job decorating the arch and the ceremony space. The space looked so lovely and the pictures definitely showcase that. The grounds themselves are well shaded which helps when it comes to pictures. We had a late June wedding and it was hot, but having the shade made a huge difference. We are so fortunate that we found Sunnybrook and so lucky to have worked with such an outstanding team that went above and beyond for us.

s beautiful and easily accomodated our 120 guests (the space can hold much more) . We provided our own uplights and it really was the perfect touch to the space. We did the stations option for food and could not have been happier. Everything we ate was fantastic and to this day we are still getting compliments about how good the food was (some of the best flank steak we have ever had)! We got married down the street at The Hill School which has an absolutely gourgous Chapel on the campus and used buses to shuttle people to SunnyBrook. All in all this place is top notch. Don't hesitate to book your wedding here. Thanks again!

The cake was included in this cost and came from Beverly's Pastry Shop in Pottstown. Beverly's was a pleasure to work with also (we did a cutting cake and cupcakes), and the cupcakes were enjoyed by all! We were so happy that such a beautiful venue with such kind staff was within our budget. Thank you to everyone at Sunnybrook for helping us to have the best day ever!

from Day One and we were able to meet Brittany when we signed our contract. I'd like to say that I was no Bridezilla, and I think that helped build the rapport between myself and our coordinators. Their easy-going personalities and sense of humor were greatly appreciated and helped calm any nerves we were feeling! We truly felt as if they made our wedding dreams come true. Our guests not only loved the food, but they loved the service they received. It actually got to a point where I had to start telling my guests to leave, because they didn't want to! They moved over to Gatbsy's to close out the night! Even a small mishap on the day of the wedding was handled with absolute grace and professionalism. We loved it so much there, we returned on the 6 month mark for dinner and were given such amazing service! I would not have traded our venue and coordinators for the world! They worked hard to make our day all that we dreamed it to be and I don't think anyone else could have done it better!

ied. When my fiancé, myself and my parents originally sat down for planning we made sure that there were certain wines and liquor being served for the reception. Their wedding planner or whatever she is titled to be (her name is Brittney) was a little too aggressive and was extremely rude to not only myself but my parents and my fiancé’s parents. She even made my 4 year old nephew cry. It should go without saying that all weddings are stressful. However I cannot stress enough how rude the staff at Sunnybrook are. Both my hair dresser and photographer mentioned that both Brittney and JoAnne were nasty to the both of them on several different occasions. I just cannot believe with the amount of money we spent into this wedding we were treated like this. I even had guest come up to me throughout that night and tell me the next day how awful the staff treated them. I was so embarrassed. There was a slight mix up in tables (literally moving two table numbers and adding ONE seat to a table) and my mother was told it wasn’t going to be done. I got scolded by JoAnne about not having the correct meal/table counts when in fact I did have this and it just was not communicated to her correctly by the staff. I will say that among the million other things my fiancé and I had to do to prepare for this day we had forgotten to mark on the table cards who ordered beef, fish, or veggie..again honest mistake and I will take fault for that. HOWEVER they were provided with how many meals went with each table and I even gave them my excel spreadsheet of who ordered what. Yet I was pretty much yelled at by JoAnne as if I were a child. They literally kept blaming everything on me. They upset my father so much that he almost left. I can’t stress how awful this was.. I even was told by a few guest when they requested for more water they were told no. I URGE couples to reconsider booking their wedding at the venue because you spend a significant amount of money to be treated like trash.

She was great as well, and we have heard so many positive and glowing reviews of how great Brittany and Joanne were during other people's wedding (especially from my mom who attended a wedding at Sunnybrook only 2 weeks prior to ours). However the day before the wedding we go to Sunnybrook to drop off center pieces and other props, and are met by Joanne and some new girl they had hired. We were told that everything would be fine and Brittany would still be there. Unfortunately we hardly seen Brittany the entire night of our wedding, and didn't see Joanne once, and the new lady that was working was absolutely miserable. To say she left a bad impression on the majority of the guests would be an understatement. My wife couldn't have been more disappointed in how she handled the event, set up our decorations, and communicated to guests. I must say however that the Ballroom was nice, and the food was great. Multiple people have raved about the food, except my wife who didn't get to enjoy it. When we got back from our honeymoon and went to pick up the decorations, we were told by the bartender for the event that they fired that lady and our wedding was her last. I am really disappointed in Sunnybrook for allowing someone new like this to handle our wedding, and not be introduced to them till the day before, when we were told that the other two ladies who do exceptional work were the ones we communicated with from the start and were supposed to work our party.

Sales: Of all the people at the venues we considered, JoAnne was the friendliest sales director we met and the most willing to work with us and our budget. We had been looking at rustic locations, and JoAnne figured out a way for us to have the wedding ceremony in their rustic social house and the reception in the ballroom, which worked out perfectly. She was responsive to our questions and put us in touch with multiple people throughout SunnyBrook who helped us plan the wedding. Ultimately, we always felt like we had someone who cared about our day working with us. Food: Amazing! While I am underselling the reception dinner, we had strip steaks, Thai curry chicken, and Gnocchi as our entrée options with numerous hors d’oeuvres. Our guests loved their food, with several people mentioning that it was the first wedding they had attended where they “actually liked the food.” The presentation was superb, and the service was excellent. Organization: Brittany, the banquet organizer, pulled the wedding day together for us. In several instances, we essentially threw a bunch of decorations and ideas at her and she made something beautiful from our mess. On the day of the wedding, she coordinated with JoAnne, the DJ, the Reverend, us (pretty much everyone involved) to make our day as smooth as possible. While I am sure there were several issues that arose during the day, few of them ever reached us because Brittany had handled them. Location: SunnyBrook Ballroom has an amazing legacy, and I highly recommend doing some research on it. This is a location that was nearly lost and is now a protected historical site. The ballroom itself is beautiful and spacious, and the social house has perfect rustic charm. Final thoughts: Our experience with SunnyBrook was simply fantastic. I can’t think of a way the wedding day could have been better.
