ed and we needed to get married inside! I absolutely would recommend this venue for anyone. She is such a sweetheart and the venue is decorated so well you hardly have to do any decorating yourself!!

hat I'm sure were countless emails from me about any and all questions that came up throughout the process. The food was fantastic (we got the pretzel crusted chicken, the Guinness beef, lemon pepper green beans, and twice baked potato casserole - dinner also included salad, bread, and coffee) and our guests complimented us on each individual dish. I think I heard the most good things from our vegetarians; they loved that they were provided an option (which was included with our other dinner options) and apparently was tasty to boot! We had plenty of leftovers that reheated perfectly; both sides of the family ate well for almost a week after the wedding! Carolyn's also helped us cut our cakes even though we used a different baker, it was a small fee and worth every penny since they knew exactly what they were doing. Very reasonably priced, friendly staff, and great food!

t exactly what we wanted. They food was great and VERY reasonably priced. They even delivered to the church in disposable containers so we could save the leftovers and throw away the rest. The made it very easy to feed 50 people. Check out Carolyn’s if you need catering in the area, especially outside of Toledo.

nlike many of our other vendors, Caroyln's never reached out to me first, and were not always responsive to emails (despite telling me they would be as responsive with emails as they would with calls). Some of the food was fantastic, and some of it was just okay. The cornbread in particular - served cold - tasted like cardboard. The BBQ chicken was delicious! After communitcating with them what the floor plan was like and setting up the morning of the wedding, I arrived to the reception to my MoH telling me "they moved everything around". They made the photographer and DJ both move their stands, and moved my head table. Luckily, the reception hall staff and my bridal party worked to fix everything super fast - but it was definitely annoying, especially since I had clearly communicated with them (i still have the email explaining it!). Though, that was the biggest problem of my day, so definitely NOT the worst that could happen! And an employee apologized during the reception as well.

tc. I was able to call and ask questions whenever i needed help and they would always let me make an appointment to meet with them if I needed to go over anything or change something! I could not have asked for better service from everyone who worked to set the hall up for our reception! Sunrise park and banquet center was beautiful for our winter wedding.

a very beautiful setting. We were able to get married in the outside gazebo and walk directly into our reception. It was very nice to have it all on one location. I would recommend them to everyone! Lisa Hibbard

The best part about Sunrise is they do everything for you. Catering, bar, chair covers, and you can even get your cake. Catering by Carolyn's is excellent. Many compliments from the guests, especially on the chicken bruschetta entree. We loved the Yukon gold mashed potatoes, and good salad too. Carolyn also did our cake. It was beautiful and tasted amazing- couldn't have asked for a moister, more delicious cake at a great price. Bar service was great- some of the nicest bartenders I've had at a wedding. Serving staff were also polite and helpful- not rude or abrupt like at other places. Can't say enough good things about Mary, the owner and coordinator for everything. She is so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly with all the preparations and the day of also. We were able to get everything we wanted, all coordinated and taken care of for us so we didn't have to stress about the little details. You can't beat a free wedding coordinator. If you want a lesser-stress wedding, go with Sunrise for their great package deals. Very affordable also. This was the first place we saw because it was one of the least expensive places in the Toledo area and we fell in love with it. Absolutely perfect. We would have our wedding here again in a heartbeat.

entrance to my reception was filled with dirt mounds and bulldozers. The sign they use to announce weddings didnt even have our names on it to help peple find the hall in the whole mess.. instead it advertised the bridal show they were having the following weekend. Luckily, I worked so hard on the inside of the hall, that most people forgot about the huge mess. But many people couldnt find the hall because of the construction site in front of it. To make matters worse, the saturday before my wedding we were informed that "to make it up to us" they would pay for another hall. Who has time to go through that mess the week of the wedding? Not us. So to make up for the utter disaster they created and never told us about... they gave us a $110 table decoration setup free. Like that made up for it all.
