rofessional and this wasn't her first rodeo. She made sure everything was clear and confirmed everything we'd expect. She is an expert and she was able to answer all questions and provide help in a very timely manner. The first thing we loved were the views. The huge balcony overlooks the first tee box, which is where we had our ceremony. Had it rained, there is an area that could be used as a "back up" and we were close to having to use that back up area. I have no doubt that would have been just as lovely. The first tee box is stunning close to sunset. Leading up to the wedding, Leslie was so calming and provided us the comfort and reassurance needed. Leslie helped everything we envisioned happen from beautiful linens to extra lighting and decorations. The staff is just as amazing. All the staff was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything needed at the rehearsal, while me and the girls were getting ready there, during cocktail hour, and during the reception. We just could not thank everyone enough. It was the most perfect day and everything was better than we could have ever dreamed. We were getting compliments left and right. We had some difficult guests to work around as far as allergies, etc. and Leslie time and time again was like this is no problem. The day was perfect. Sunset is perfect. We are so blessed to have been able to have our wedding here.

We met with Leslie, the special events coordinator, and from there everything was easy. Leslie was incredibly professional and had a lot of experience which really helped us in our planning stages. Leslie kept in touch the months leading up to the wedding making sure we had our checklist done but she did it in such a way that it didn't seem like a chore and it was really a collaboration with her in getting this wedding planned.
The venue itself is fantastic. The ballroom is recently renovated so it is much more modern and pretty than some pictures that are out on the internet. We had cocktail hour in the 'family room' and our guests loved being able to walk out on the porch and see the beautiful golf course and enjoy the surprisingly mild 85 degree August weather we had!
One thing that really stood out to us was how well we were taken care of by the staff and by Leslie. Being the bride and groom is very busy and we almost forgot to enjoy some of our appetizers and specialty drink from cocktail hour but when we walked in there were small portions of all of the appetizers and drinks waiting for us so we could take 10 minutes and sit and eat before we went out to greet all of our guests. This just really stood out because we didn't know we needed that little bit of a snack and few moments to just sit and relax.
Everything was fantastic as one would assume at such a nice establishment as Sunset Country Club but they definitely surpassed all of our expectations with their service and attention to detail.
