Holds ceremonies and receptions
We hosted my daughter’s wedding reception here, and I must say that everything was above and beyond top-notch. The food was exceptional; everything from the passed appetizers to the entrees truly exceeded our expectations. Our guests had a choice of the halibut or the filet for the sit-down dinner, and every single dinner was served to absolute perfection. It was all absolutely delicious! We have had so many people call to tell us this was the best wedding they have ever attended!
Our coordinator Megan went above and beyond, even managing a couple last-minute changes with a smile. How does she do that?!?! Megan and Sunset Events made everything so very easy. Our bride lives out of state, the groom and his family live out of state, and yet they knew exactly how to make our night so very special. Megan is magic!
Everything was absolutely flawless, from the service, to the food to every last detail in making sure the night was spectacular. And it was beyond our dreams!
We cannot thank you enough for making the day so special for our daughter and her new husband and family!!!
Our son's wedding reception was held at the Holiday Inn and it was absolutely lovely. Megan was a tremendous help arranging things, even for the out-of-town groom's family. She, responded quickly, had excellent suggestions, and was wonderful on-site. The reception room was beautiful; the AV equipment worked well for a video slide-show. We also had a babysitting room across from the reception where we could stream a movie, and that worked really well. All the staff were professional and helpful and accommodated last-minute requests without any problem. We have no complaints at all!

Newly renovated and owned by award-winning Twisted Tree Steakhouse, Sunset Event Space provides modernized charm we’re delighted to share with you. Our 5,840 sf ballroom is able to welcome 325 of your love ones for your reception. Our versatile concourse space features a large open floor plan highlighted by natural lighting, and is the perfect spot to host ceremonies and welcome receptions. Additional complimentary private rooms can serve a variety of necessities throughout the big day.
At Sunset Event Space, we strive to make wedding planning easy as an all-inclusive venue. We offer full audio visual capabilities, staging, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens, tableware, barware, service staff, day of coordinators, and in-house lodging. Catering is provided in-house by one of the area’s most highly ranked steakhouses. Our unforgettable flavors and advanced menu offerings will be sure to satisfy your guest’s appetites.
Located under the same roof as the Holiday Inn Route 66, guests won’t have to go far to find lush, comfortable rooms, available in a variety of styles and suitable for all needs. The Holiday Inn offers a large lobby area great for socializing, a large courtyard area with a heated pool, as well as an updated gym.
