December and this photographer came recommended and I also checked reviews and our experience was very poor (on wedding wire I did not read the very last review which happened to be the most accurate and honest). We are yet to share our wedding photos with our friends and family (6 months later!) because they were not anything we were happy with or proud to share. We received 1,400 photos on a disc just 3 days after our wedding, very surprised to receive the photos so shortly after but excited. When we uploaded the photos not one photo seemed to be professionally brightened, eyes were shut in 50% of the photos, random objects in pictures, shadows everywhere. There was lack of creativity and direction in our photos which was very clear when looking at them. I contacted the photographer to see if maybe this was a preview and was informed this was the final edited product. The website we were told we could share with friends and family was just a disaster of 1,400 photos that actually had to be purchased even though we "owned" the photos and discussed this with the photographer before signing the contract. We have received 3 professional opinions since receiving our wedding photos all saying that we should contact the photographer regarding the poor quality of these photos. Some of the editing needed is just simple adjustments of lighting so you are able to see our faces. Overall very disappointing and I would highly NOT recommend. As a bride who paid good money for a photographer and a bride and groom who paid for their own wedding I would not want anyone to have the experience that we went through. Our wedding was wonderful unfortunately we did not have the moment captured. Our other vendors were absolutely wonderful. We got married at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, it was magnificent with perfect weather. I just wish we had magical wedding photos to go along with the memories. Please make sure to do all of your research before booking this photographer. Within minutes of posting a review on wedding wire there was a 5 star review that came after... Lisa are true professionals who work together quickly and efficiently to get beautiful pictures. They have been in the business for a long time and they only get better with experience. They are willing to take posing suggestions from the bride and groom, as well as incorporating their own personal style and creative touches into the shoot. My mother loved them both and fervently expressed her appreciation for Derek’s efficiency and calming demeanor. He moved smoothly through all of the family and bridal party shots prior to the ceremony, pulling different people in and out of shots with ease. He even pinned on each of the groomsmen’s boutonnières when we forgot completely about them! He uploaded our pictures quickly and they were waiting for us to view online (and the CD was at our door) before we even returned from the honeymoon. I cannot say enough great things about Sunshine Photographics and I am so happy that we chose them to document our special day.

He also has his wife trained to not just be his assistant, but act as a second photographer when requested. Both are very friendly and well worth the money. He took us to all of the best places for photos in the gardens and in his easy going manner got us to pose easily. We ended up with such quality photos they look like they should be in magazines. Within 1-2 days the photos were up online for us to share with family and friends and soon after received our HD Disc of photos. To say the least we are very pleased with the decision to use Sunshine Photographics in Orlando, FL. I can’t recommend him more.

e so many that I love. What impressed me the most though was his speed and knowledge in getting all the photos. There was a ton of traffic on the way to the reception but Derek took all the back roads to avoid traffic and was able to park his car, set up his equipment and be waiting for us when the limo pulled up even though he left after us. I was worried because our picture time had been cut short by almost forty minutes because of the traffic. However, he was incredibly fast. He knew all the spots and we went to them quickly. He directed the wedding party well and was polite but good at telling us where to go. I gave him a two page shot list and he got every picture on my shot list in 45 minutes and we went to 9 different locations to take pictures in that time. He was incredibly quick but very accurate with his photos. He didn't need a lot of time to compose a great shot. I think that this was his best quality. You really need someone who can do a good job without wasting any time and who knows the venue locations really well beforehand. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I wanted nice formal photos on the staircase with the bridal party which we got except that he didn't line us up, we just gathered and you can't see my husband's brother well at all. I would've really liked to be posed better. Though I wish these photos had come out better, I wonder if it was partly my fault because I was really worried about the time and being late and he was trying to get me to the reception by the time I had asked and those were some of the last photos we took. I got all 1100 of my pictures online three days after the wedding and I got a CD with all of the pictures on it 10 days after the wedding. We chose which ones we wanted special editing done to and he fulfilled all of our editing requests. I love all of the photos so much that I had to get several on canvas to hang up just because I could not choose. Our wedding photos look like artwork or something that belongs in a magazine and I think that is thanks to Derek's artistry. He also did a great job designing our album. I am a very picky person and I had a very specific idea of exactly how I wanted our album to look. Derek was great in giving me tons of updates in the album design and redoing things to be exactly how I wanted them. He even went out to the Portofino and took a special picture just to add it into the background of our album. Our album is gorgeous and I look at it a lot. He was very pleasant and cordial and easy to work with and professional. Overall, I'm really happy we chose Sunshine PHotographics. They did an excellent job.

I hate being photographed and I really never knew he was around, yet he didn't miss a single shot. He got pictures of things I never would have thought to take and I am so happy that he did. I received my pictures on a CD a week after the wedding and I have looked at them everyday. Each time I find something new that he captured and I am thrilled. My guest all commented on Derek. They were able to see photos that he had taken throughout the day that he displayed during the reception and they were all thrilled that they could see them on a website within a few days of the ceremony to buy what they wanted. I am thrilled that I found them and would not hesitate to recommend them to any future bride. They are fair on the price, punctual and above all pros.
