I go with the flow for your wedding day - as long as it's not at the expense of doing what you hired me to do - get really amazing wedding portraits! Couples hire me because I can make everyone, no matter their body type or wedding budget, look AH-MAZING in their photos. My wedding photography style is best described as Luxe: fine art inspired with a hint of moodiness, and my posing styles can range from editorial to journalistic/candid depending on what my couple's personalities and styles are. Most of my couples love the combination of high fashion inspired poses/expressions, and more relaxed candid looks. You walk away from the end of your wedding or session with me feeling like a model, no matter your skin tone, colour or creed. My love of capturing true emotion, the natural moments, is why I decided to become a wedding photographer. The connection between two people, and the raw emotion you feel, is my favorite part to get on 'film'. I have been a full time wedding photographer since 2019 (great timing hey? Riiiight before a worldwide pandemic) and it has been the best move of my life. Not only am I fulfilled artistically, but I am also able to be home with my son Apollo every day and peruse my international Grand Prix Dressage ambitions! Kristen was amazing to work with from the beginning. She was super responsive any time I had any questions. It was such a pleasure to work with her. She was super attentive to details and she made sure we received our photos quick as possible. She was even willing to try out some new things that she had never done before to help bring our vision to life. We did her package that offered a second shooter and we loved her second shooter as well! I highly recommend Kristen and those she works with. She will work hard to make your vision come to life!

Our wedding was insane - between family drama, broken down cars and our reception venue doing ZERO setup. She had to be not only our photographer, but also our chauffer, and wedding planner for the day. When we got to the reception venue and nothing was set up I just wanted to cry, but she got our entire wedding party and all of our guests to help her set everything up and within 30 minutes we were sorted. . . To top it all off the photos were top notch! I literally would not have stayed at our reception if it wasn't for Kristen. My only regret is not hiring her for our videography too, as her work there is stellar! We went with someone more established and regretted it after seeing our videos. Hands down the person you need at your wedding!!!

Kristen at Sunsoar Photography was a brilliant choice for our wedding photography. She was confident, knowledgeable, and easy to work with in our early conversations. As we neared the wedding day, she challenged us to think through our photography schedule very carefully so as to be sure to include all the photos that we want in the most efficient way possible. When the big day came, she proved to be extremely flexible, calm, and helpful. We did almost all of our photos in the hours leading up the ceremony with only two large, family photos after the ceremony. She helped us navigate when to do what pictures and where; her demeanor put us at ease and enabled us to comfortably enjoy the photo times; Her help to expertly fix the bride's makeup after a sprinkle of rain as well as to remind us to eat and drink throughout the photo-period ensured that we looked well and hale for the ceremony. In short, Kristen made the whole photo process enjoyable and effortless on our part--we simply got to enjoy each other, our bridal party, and our friends and family without worrying about photos. Kristen would be our first and foremost recommendation for wedding photos in the Central Florida area.

Sunsoar Photography is incredible! Our wedding was a destination wedding and Kristen made our planning from our first in person meeting to the day of our special day, seamless and enjoyable. She was very open and honest with what would be the best shots we would cherish forever. Along with capturing the moments we requested with friends and family. Kristen went above and beyond assisting in the the process of the bride and groom getting ready, "snapping" the most perfect moments of our rehearsal dinner, our pre-wedding day happy hour, first look, the ceremony and of course the reception. We highly recommend Sunsoar Photography to any and everyone that is wanting and needing to capture their special moments that will last a lifetime.

We had an amazing experience with Sunsoar Photography - despite the worst of circumstances. She ended up hospitalized the day before our wedding due to a serious car accident and (from the emergency room, might I add) she had coordinated a photographer for our wedding, called us to let us know what happened and that she had taken care of it, and made sure we were comfortable with the change. It was not an ideal circumstance, but she dealt with it in such a professional way (in shock in the hospital, being carted out for scans and all) that we couldn't help but be impressed. Her associate photographer did a great job making our day relaxed and enjoyable, and getting the photos to Kristen quickly so we got them edited within a month and a sneak peek in 3 days.

I contacted Kristen super last minute for our backup plan wedding due to covid canceling our Cabo plan. She did an excellent job with communication and even made executive decisions when I was not responding. She made everything super easy and worry free. She took her time with my photos and made sure I was very happy with them. I would recommend her without a doubt!!

Kristen was amazing and her flexibility made our day! Since all of COVID craziness, my wife and I opted for a smaller ceremony and a reception at a later date. While it was stressful for my wife, she did a great job taking over a lot of the day-of coordination and photography. We didn’t have to worry about good picture opportunities at the new venue, though it was super bright and hot out. She helped us arrange where to set up for the ceremony, how the flow should go, and timing of it all. I didn’t worry about our poses because I knew she knew what she was doing and she even ended up doing my wifes makeup and hair to make sure she felt confident and beautiful. Kristen really creates a fun environment while taking pictures, but also genuinely takes beautiful pictures! She is truly the best!

Kristen is so talented, she will capture all of those beautiful moments on your special day! She has a wonderful personality and gets an understanding of who the couple is in order to capture them in a unique way. She has a wonderful skill of balancing the schedule of the day but also not rushing you. She kept saying "we're on Brides' time" or "we're on wedding time" which makes you feel so much more relaxed. We greatly enjoyed having her do the engagement photoshoot so we could get to know her before the big day. She is very funny and helps keep the wedding day light, fun and enjoyable. Plus, her photography package prices are great!! Would recommend Kristen and her work over and over again.

Okay, I want to get married again just so I can hire her again! Kristen is personable, real, kind, funny, and made us feel so comfortable in just minutes of meeting her. I instantly felt like I was in good hands and trusted her completely. Personality-wise, I just wanted to keep hanging out with her! Professionally, she has a great eye and was proactive in getting great shots and capturing all our guests in the time we had her. She made them feel comfortable and she fit right in. She also seems to love what she does, and it shows in the final product we received. HIRE HER.

She talked to family, took amazing photos, and started workin g on them immediately. She gave us some of our finished photos in a few days! 10/10 would recommend.

If you are looking for a photographer to do your wedding this is the right one!!! We felt very relaxed and could be ourselves while every frame was taken! Every photo edit and every different position she took for the photos was quite amazing and she really helps you make your big day be the day to always remember and cherish

My wife has worked with KRisten for a few years - she captured us at horse shows so it was only natural to reach out to her when the time came for our wedding! She did a great job, kept everyone engaged (including our crazy wedding party) and got awesome photos! We are happy with the result and plan to keep using her for family photos!
