Carmen was wonderful throughout this whole process of planning our honeymoon to Hawaii!!! We went to Oahu, Maui and Kauai. We had an initial phone call of what we wanted to do so she could put together a plan for us. She asked our budget right off the bat which was nice because we had no surprises of what we could afford. Unfortunately, the fires in Hawaii this year slightly altered our travel plans but THANK GOD for Carmen as she was able to move our hotel (it was confirmed once again we were we working with the right person). Overall- the hotels booked were beautiful and our excursions were wonderful. We had no issues with our flights or hotels. We were on a payment plan which made everything less stressful. Carmen is wonderful and is an expert at her job- we are already talking about going back to Maui for our ten year anniversary!

Carmen planned our unforgettable honeymoon trip to Italy! We spent 2 weeks traveling the whole country and everything was planned out so thoughtfully and beautifully. We definitely plan to use Carmen on any future trips we take! She was responsive and listened to our wants and wishes! She even was a huge help when one of our tours got cancelled - she quickly found a different tour in place of the one that was cancelled! She is amazing!!!!!!

Carmen has been beyond amazing supporting our destination wedding and honeymoon trip! Our original wedding date was scheduled for May 2020 in Punta Cana, DR. Less than 2 months to go, the world shut down and we had to post-pone our wedding to May 2021. As if that wasn’t already a lot of work, between contacting guests that had already booked, to supporting all of us with rescheduling, we found that most guests still didn’t feel comfortable to travel. We pushed out our date another year, to May 2022 – and Carmen was beyond accommodating, and thanks to her, we were finally able to have our dream wedding! Carmen worked with us on the new date, making sure all guests had the most updated information needed, the latest Covid travel protocols, and the attention to detail to book not only the hotel, but the round trip from the airport on their designated travel dates. For my husband and I, she also booked a different resort that was to be our honeymoon destination, and we had such a smooth trip, it was wonderful. This isn’t the first time that I have used Carmen’s services, and she never disappoints! I’ve already recommended her to others for traveling needs!

We booked our honeymoon to Tahiti with Carmen. She was excellent throughout the entire planning process and knew from experience of traveling there. We spent 4 nights in Moorea and 4 nights in Bora Bora. Both places were beautiful and highly recommended for a honeymoon or special occasion. Carmen assisted with booking excursions, flights, hotels and transportation to these destinations. We were surprised that everything went completely smooth and timings for everything were perfect. We did not contact Carmen once over there with any questions or concerns. We will definitely book again for a future trip.

Carmen was absolutely fantastic to work with! She helped us plan the trip of a lifetime for our honeymoon to Paris, Lake Como, and Rome. Carmen is fantastic at communicating and answering any questions that came up along the way. She listened to our vague ideas of what we wanted and came up with the most perfect itinerary. We also loved the ease of everything - all travel, accommodations, and special tours were laid out for us. The tours we did were unique and fun, and a favorite was the private walking tour of Rome. It was especially nice having transfers from the airports/train stations to our hotels - we didn't have to figure out public transportation or taxis after 9 hour flights with was very appreciated! We would definitely use Carmen's service again, she is the best!

We had booked travel through Carmen for a friends Mexico destination wedding in 2016 and had a good experience with her. When we got engaged in 2020 we decided to reach out and hire her for our Mexico destination wedding. She was quick to respond and very helpful in the initial process as we chose our wedding resort and honeymoon resort. Carmen was always quick to answer any questions we had, she was also very helpful when we postponed our wedding from 2021 to 2022 due to COVID. Carmen at Sunstastic HM&V was awesome! She helped my wife and I plan a large group vacation to Cancun @ The Dreams Riviera. Carmen was extremely patient and kind. She answered all of our questions quickly and dealt with our guests directly.

I just want to say thank you to Carmen! I don’t know how I would’ve managed to plan my destination wedding in Dominican Republic during a pandemic without her. She helped me pick a great resort that had the kind of venue I had envisioned. My husband & I loved working with Carmen at Suntastic for our destination wedding in Jamaica. She was recommended to us by our close friends who married in Mexico years prior. Therefore, we got to experience Suntastic on both ends - as guests & bride/groom! Both experiences were great. Early on, Carmen was pro-active and efficient. My husband and I initially booked our Hawaii honeymoon through Carmen in 2019 for our 2020 wedding. With covid and everything that came with it, we had to cancel and rebook. We are so happy she told us about and encouraged us to book the travel insurance that we did. We worked with her to cancel and rebook seamlessly. She reached out to us earlier this year to inform us about Kauai's covid travel restrictions and quarantine requirements, and we pivoted our honeymoon to Aruba since they weren't requiring a quarantine at the time, and we wanted to avoid that. We booked at the Bucuti and Tara and it was absolutely beautiful. We loved it so much- she even had a bottle of wine waiting for us in our suite. She was also able to book our airport transfers which were seamless. I would recommend Carmen for anyone looking for a travel agent. I had many phone calls with her, reschedules, and destination pivots. She was flexible, empathetic, and responsive. Thank you Carmen!

We had narrowed down our dream honeymoon destination to a few places but couldn’t decide where we wanted to go. Carmen was happy to talk through things with us to figure out what would be best for us based on what we were looking for and made everything from there on out so easy! We decided to go with Greece and she had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable. Obviously with COVID we had to postpone everything but Carmen was very understanding and helpful in getting us our money back. Carmen Colicchio, of Suntastic Honeymoons, has been instrumental during the unprecedented travel crisis affected by Covid-19 starting March 2020. Carmen had planned a destination wedding and honeymoon to Punta Cana for my fiancée and I, scheduled for May 2020. In late March, with less than 2 months to go, we learned that our resort was closing down, with no reopening date projected. All our guests were booked, they had their plane tickets, and everything was selected and ready to go! Although rather disappointed, we understood the gravity of the situation, and Carmen not only provided us with comforting words, but assured us she would work with us and our guests to make it right! She quickly reached out to our guests and notified them, making sure we all got refunded for any deposits made through Suntastic Honeymoons. She also worked with the airlines to provide a credit back for the airfare she had booked for our guests. Her support meant everything to us during this time, and the fact that she also took such great care of our guests, so we didn’t have added stress, was truly priceless. I am so grateful and thankful for her and the services and support provided. A destination wedding is such a special occasion, no couple should have to go through this roller coaster, but she was with us the whole way through! And now, we have decided to post-pone out to May 2021, and we are very much looking forward to having Carmen take care of us again!

I worked with Carmen from Suntastic after being referred by a friend for a trip to Cabo a few years back. Carmen was so hands-on and helped us when there was an unexpected delay in the opening of the hotel where we were planning to stay. We had a great trip and no stress even with the change of plans thanks to Carmen's guidance. She also planned my sister's honeymoon 3 years ago and most recently, our September honeymoon in Hawaii which, unfortunately, we decided to postpone after our April wedding was postponed due to Covid. With all of the uncertainty with our plans right now and our new date planned for November 2020 (fingers crossed) the last thing we wanted to stress about was a honeymoon that was supposed to be our opportunity to relax and start our married lives together. Carmen has been nothing but easy to communicate with, responsive, supportive and understanding of our decision to hold off on our honeymoon for now and we look forward to rebooking it with her soon. We were referred to Carmen through a family member who was referred through a friend- already a good indication of the quality of her services. We have not been disappointed! Carmen booked our 2 week honeymoon to Greece that was supposed to follow our May 2020 wedding. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to reschedule our wedding to August. Carmen was incredibly helpful, understanding, and informative when we were figuring out what to do about the honeymoon. She made sure we knew about important dates regarding payment, and even helped us change one hotel so that the date to make a decision could be pushed back. Unfortunately, we decided it made the most sense to cancel our trip. Carmen was very helpful in letting us know about refund options etc. We will definitely work with Carmen again when we decide what to do moving forward. She's already been great with providing information about a new destination (Italy), when we might want to book that, and what insurance options we have. I would've already said we made the right decision to work with Carmen, but with everything that happened I believe that even more. We were so lucky to have her on our side during a very challenging time!

Wow, where to begin! Carmen was an absolute doll and life saver! When I got engaged, I didn’t even know where to start, but Carmen was recommended to me by a friend who was recently married. Trip of a limetime! We were referred to Carmen by a close friend and we were not disappointed! As we were taking our delayed honeymoon in April, we were looking for warmer weather and a zika-free location. Carmen provided us with three possible locations and ultimately booked us at the Kimpton Inn in Grand Cayman. This is the ONLY vacation I have even taken where I wasn't ready to go home. Carmen was professional, understanding, considerate. She even sent us a appetizer tray to our hotel room on our fist afternoon of our stay! Carmen took great care to ensure that the trip that we were asking for was the trip we really wanted. She was always readily available through the planning process, and made us aware when she was away on business. We were relieved everything went so smooth when we arrived, and we had little notes greeting us on arrival, as well as every tour group and hotel being aware it was our honeymoon. We felt special, and the best part is that we could relax and did not have to worry about details. Carmen was great! She set up my honeymoon trip to Italy and made every step so easy. They prepare everything for you so that all you have to do is show up. Any questions I had during the trip were quickly answered and made my honeymoon that much more enjoyable. I was very iffy about getting a travel agent for our honeymoon since I travel very often (4x a year) and I always plan my own vacations. I met Carmen at a bridal show by accident since I have no intentions of hiring a travel agent. I really like what she had to say and I was like what’s the harm in hearing her out. Since I was ready to book our honeymoon on our own I had done all my research already. After our phone conversation she gave me a lot of insight about Tahiti that I didn’t know. Her prices were the same as my research however we got 2 free dinners and breakfast included. After hearing how we will actually save money going with her I threw away all my research and told her to book. She was great after everything was booked and made sure we had everything we need for our magical honeymoon. When we got to our honeymoon there were no hitches everything was booked correctly and as all the paper work stated. While we were in Bora Bora we decided we wanted to stay an extra two days, I email her on a Saturday night and she replied super fast. She gave me all the information I needed to extend our vacation. I was surprise that she reads her emails on the weekend and super grateful. If you are planning a honeymoon don’t hesitate to use Carmen she is excellent and we had the honeymoon of our dreams.

Suntastic Honeymoons and Vacations was a great choice to help us with our travel needs! We decided early on that Tahiti was going to be our destination, but didn't want to leave anything to chance for our honeymoon, and we made the right choice with Suntastic. Carmen was very helpful, having been to Tahiti before, made excellent suggestions to ensure we'd have an amazing time. She suggested we split our time between Moorea and Bora Bora, and we loved every second of both! Carmen helped us with our excursions which included: scheduling a romantic private dinner on the beach, and the amazing canoe breakfast, a tiki village tour and feast, a 4x4 trip around the island (which was fascinating!), an amazing sunset cruise in Bora Bora, and a snorkel tour where we swam with sharks! Both islands offered different experiences and we felt that we couldn't ask for more for our honeymoon. Highly recommend using Suntastic!

It was a pleasure working with Carmen on our African Honeymoon. She was very responsive, made our planning our trip to South Africa and the Seychelles a breeze, and worked extremely hard to ensure we had the most amazing time. She even reached out while we were on the trip to ensure everything was OK and there were no issues, she really cared about our experience.
