About this vendor
Super Joy specializes in analog wedding videography, which means we capture your big day on glorious Super 8 film. You might be wondering why we choose to shoot on film (it's certainly an understandable question). Here's the short answer - You know that warm, fuzzy feeling you get around special occasions? Well, we believe that your wedding video should match that feeling, and what better way to do that than to use the very format that elicits those happy, nostalgic vibes?
After an initial chat and some check-ins along the way, I'll show up on your wedding day with my cameras and enough film to capture every tender and goofy moment (and everything in between). I take a fly-on-the-wall approach, which basically means you won't get anything staged from me. Think vintage home movies on a cinematic level.
Super Joy is a wedding videography company based in Brooklyn, NY.

pun intended), but the results were outstanding. It turns out everything looks better on film! It doesn't hurt that Finley is also such a sweetheart and made everything so seamless and easy for us.
Finley/Super Joy captured the most beautiful footage from our wedding day events in upstate NY. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about the Super 8 film is just so t...
imeless and warm and has a truly special quality to it that cannot be replicated. I am nearly past the age of friends getting married, but I will be recommending Finley as far and as wide as possible. Super 8 rules!!!
Finley shot and put together a video for our wedding which was far more beautiful than we could have imagined! He's a super chill individual and is a total pro at what he does. Whi...
le we were somewhat hesitant about going down the Super 8 route, Finley assured us that we were in good hands and the final results made that abundantly clear. The natural quality of the film really sets it apart from your average wedding video in the most wonderfully nostalgic way. Can't recommend Super Joy enough!
