This century-old manor house is a short skip away from the academic grounds of Skidmore College. Its interior mixes classic aesthetics with modern amenities. The rooms within its stately walls can be used for overnight stays, meetings, or various types of special events. Whether the occasion is held surrounded by the antique decor, flowering gardens, or comfortable porch furniture, up to 48 guests* can witness a couple’s union at Surry-Williamson Inn. Should soon-to-be-weds be seeking exclusive access to the venue, that can be arranged upon booking. *Due to COVID-19, state and local guidelines will determine the maximum capacity at our venue.
Couples will be in communication with a dedicated team of wedding planners from day one when hosting an event at this beautiful piece of heritage. For occasions that have meals on the itinerary, food can be served as a buffet or traditional sit-down dinner. The cuisine is prepared by Skidmore’s revered chefs, ensuring that dishes exude quality, taste, and refinement. After the festivities have winded down, or the day before they even begin, couples and a select number of guests are welcome to stay on-site. The inn presents 10 well-appointed rooms with furnishings that complement the Victorian gardens seen through the windows. Ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and more are all accommodated on the property. Other gatherings such as engagements, showers, and brunches may be tailored to as well.
