Steve at Surroundings is amazing! I'm not very familiar with flowers so it was hard to describe exactly what I wanted but Steve took my vision and made it a reality! He knew exactly what to do and turn it up a notch to make my venue look next level. Walking into my venue and seeing Steve's work felt like a dream come true. Steve was also very responsive and easy to work with over my 2.5 year engagement. I was never rushed or felt like I was bothering him with my million questions and emails. I am so thankful for all the work Steve did to make my wedding absolutely beautiful.

On does amazing work and is the kindest person! Everything was BEAUTIFUL at my wedding and I had many compliments about the center pieces and the floral decorations. Highly recommend Surroundings.

On is the best!! He’s so kind and was such a joy to work with when planning your wedding. He is an expert when it comes to floral arrangements, matching colors and creating stunning center pieces. He took the time to meet with us in person to show us some examples and help us plan everything well in advance.

On can do it all! The first day we stepped in his shop to talk about our wedding flowers we shared a few ideas, showed him a photo or two, and hoped he would see our vision. On proceeded to step into the back room and put together a centerpiece on the spot that was PERFECT! From that point on we knew we had to work with him! Every step of the way it felt like we could reference a photo or share a vague idea and On would know exactly what we were looking for and how to incorporate it into our day. Our guests were amazed by the arrangements On put together and every bouquet, centerpiece, and arrangement fit our day perfectly. On is patient, thoughtful, and listens to his couples. It is clear that he loves what he does and it shows in his work. We can’t thank him enough for helping to make our day beautiful!

Steve was simply amazing !!! He was so easy to work with , he made my wedding flowers above and beyond what I even expected . They were the most gorgeous flowers ever !!! My guests could not stop complimenting them , he did such an amazing job I couldn’t have imagined using any other florist . 10/10 for sure !!!

On Thai did a stunning job on our flowers and decorations for our wedding. To be honest, when he presented my bouquet I teared up because I had never seen such beautiful flowers before in my life. He capture our theme perfectly and really made everything come together. I am so grateful to him and his team and highly recommend him for your event!

The Surroundings Floral Team made my wedding vision a reality! As a bride, all I knew I wanted were white hydrangeas. Steve and the team made sure that our bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres all tied together and perfectly. The centerpieces were the most beautiful centerpieces I have ever seen! We cannot thank them enough!

On was PHENOMENAL. He was actually recommended to me from my dj Andy Pratt who was also amazing. I had 100 percent trust in On making everything perfect for me and he did it. Absolutely beautiful work and he is so dedicated. Couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

Look no further for a wedding florist. On is not only the absolute nicest person I think I have ever come across, but he is the easiest person to work with. Saying my wedding planning process was smooth because of On is an understatement. He told me to send him all of my Pinterest boards and ideas and with this he was able to help me create my vision for my centerpieces and my bouquets and honestly nothing could have been better, everything was beyond perfect. As my wedding day was approaching in a few months, I met with On to go over things. Upon my arrival, he had an entire display of exactly what my centerpieces would look like. I was so shocked and so happy that I was seeing what my centerpieces were going to look like on my wedding day in person right there and then. It is one thing to talk about a vision, but to create it and see it is an entirely different ballgame- as soon as I saw my centerpieces, my mind was completely eased and I knew I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I had a problem with envisioning what my bridesmaids bouquets would look like. On quickly went in the back of his flower shop and in about 5 minutes came back out with an entire bouquet put together of the exact flowers I was envisioning. WOW- they were beautiful, and I couldn't believe he would do that for me right on the spot! My flowers showed up the day of BEAUTIFUL as ever and right on time. Seriously, I did not stress about my flowers at all & everything was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. On was such a pleasure to work with and he knows exactly what he is doing. On was also VERY respectful to my budget and was able to work with me around that. My friends and family were so impressed by how beautiful and perfect my centerpieces and bouquets were. You would be an absolute fool not to book On as your wedding florist, he is an absolute dream to work with and I promise you you are in good hands. Thank you On for giving me the most perfect and beautiful flowers ever!!

My husband and I were debating about flowers for months. Fake ones? Do we need them? They just die. Waste of money. No, we need them. We were referred to Surroundings Floral by our wedding planner and couldn't have been happier. We lived out-of-state which can makes things difficult in wedding planning so Steve made an appointment with us. We didn't know what we wanted, but explained our financial budget (basically that we didn't want to spend A LOT on flowers). We told Steve our colors and he showed us flowers, discussed price ranges and assured us that he could give us something great that we were looking for in our price range. And we couldn't have been happier, he nailed it. When the day came and Steve delivered the flowers, I was floored - they were gorgeous and beyond expectations. But On was able to collaborate both viewpoints and make for a breath taking product. “Rustic Chic” vision completely transformed my barn venue and brought it from country to Hollywood in a timeless way. On did a spectacular job with our wedding flowers. I was blown away b the beauty and simplicity of his arrangements. He completely understood my vision and made it come to life. I had a vision of how I wanted the flowers to look on our wedding day. On did not disappoint!! He listened to my vision and even asked to see my Pinterest board. He nailed every last detail all the way down to my ceremony arch (which was to die for it was so beautiful!). Even my husband loved his boutonniere! On is seriously the nicest person I've ever met! He completely went above and beyond the call of duty for us! He had emergency, backup boutonnieres for the guys in case the flowers wilted too quickly in the sun and he stayed around until after the ceremony to move the flowers to the reception space. His work is incredible, second to none. Book him for your wedding, you will NOT regret it!

On and Steve from Surroundings Floral were excellent to work with- even when we weren't completely sure what we wanted, they helped us figure it out with ease every step of the way. They did a great job setting up the flowers for everything- it turned out to be perfect!

Me and my husband ordered our flowers from Surroundings Floral in Schenectady. We were able to have a sit down meeting to go over our color scheme and what types of flowers we wanted to go with. About 2 weeks before our wedding I remembered I had forgotten to order a throw away bouquet and I called and they added it to our order no problem and at no additional charge. Our flowers arrived on time and were beautiful I wish we would have been able to save them but we will just have to look to our pictures to remember them.

I worked with Steve at Surroundings. He did a fantastic job. All the flowers looked wonderful and was just what I wanted. I do not know much about flowers. Steve was extremely helpful directing me what flowers were in season and what would look good together. He was able to take my ideas and bring them to life much better than I dreamed. The bouquets were extremely beautiful as well. Steve and Surroundings were so wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

On was in charge of flowers for the ceremony, bouquets, and flowers for the reception. I told him what my vision of the day was, and he took my vision to a whole different level. I could not have envisioned a more beautiful setup. Surroundings is a little on the expensive side, but you will get something beautiful without a question.

Steve & On at Surroundings did a phenomenal job with our floral arrangements. Since we were married close to July 4th, I had a fireworks theme and wanted to use tall palm arrangements with other tropical flowers. This was their specialty and they really worked well with this medium. The idea was definitely out of the box (no roses, peonies, or hydrangea) and it totally wowed our guests. Steve took my ideas and made them a reality, better than I imagined actually!

This is a delightful florist. Steve, was so acommodating. We picked fall colors that were a bit unusual, and asked for trees that would embrace the Bride and Groom, at the site of the ceremony. When Suroundings put them together, fall was evident throughout the display, and they were absolutely stunning. Later, when I walked into the reception, the tables and the centerpieces were just as we imagined, and took my breath away. I was so pleased. I am certain that Surroundings will be our florist of choice, for years to come.
