sweetest people to work with and absolutely incredible at their job! I am one of the pickiest people when it comes to makeup and hair, and my hair never holds a curl. However, Hilary did my hair at 12:00PM, and it was still curly at 3:00AM when I went to bed. Not only that, it didn't feel still like it had hairspray in it, which was amazing. Susan was equally as amazing. I completely changed my mind on my eye shadow, and Susan not only made all the changes happen without making me feel bad about it, but I felt gorgeous! She explained everything as she did it, and was just a joy to work with! All my bridesmaids looked beautiful, and the makeup looked natural while still coming out great in photos. I am so incredibly grateful to these two women for helping me on my wedding day! I will never go somewhere else for big events. If you can get them for your wedding day, I highly recommend it!! Thanks Hilary and Susan for all that you did!

She is also very honest about how to make you the best YOU! On the day of the wedding she was prompt and fast, which is so important to timelines. I love love love her lip stain and gloss, Halcyon. great at what she does she is fun to be around. She kept everyone focused and on task (no mean feat) and got everyone “camera ready” and “wedding gorgeous”. Since I’m not planning on having another wedding I’ll have to come up with other reasons to have her do my makeup. Having Susan do the makeup for my wedding was one of my best planning decisions.

nderstood exactly what I was wanting for my wedding day look. I did not want anything super heavy or dark, just something glowy and amped up from my everyday makeup, and where another artist had seemed to be pushing me towards a heavier look than I wanted, Susan immediately got the soft and romantic vibe that I had dreamed of. I hired her the following day with no hesitation knowing I would look exactly as I imagined come wedding day, and I did!! In addition to my own makeup, Susan did the makeup for my 2 bridesmaids, maid of honor, MIL, an aunt and my mom after coming to our venue about an hour from downtown KC. Everyone requested different looks and after seeing a few pictures of what each person was imagining, she delivered exactly what they each wanted while keeping on track with our timeline for the day. There were no touchups needed either, even after a tear-filled ceremony and long day and night! Perhaps the greatest part of hiring Susan for my wedding was seeing how happy my mom (who hardly EVER wears much makeup and was a little apprehensive about getting it done and it being too heavy/not her) was when she saw her finished look and hearing my dad say “WOW!!!” when he saw her. She was so confident and happy and it made me so happy in return. Wonderful team and I have already recommended her several times to other brides-to-be!
