Susie G's Specialty Cakes

Susie G’s has been our bakery since we moved to OFallon 11 years ago. Our daughter was getting married and of course it was going to be a Susie G wedding cake. Chelsea did a wonderful job with our cake design. It was beautiful, delicious, and delivered perfectly decorated . We can’t thank you all enough! It is a family tradition. The guest loved it!!

Susie G's Specialty Cakes made us a wonderful wedding cake! We sat down and did our tasting in early 2019 to make sure they were the right fit for us. They were very helpful with our tasting and provided us plenty of reference photos to refer to during the tasting. We had a few reference photos of our own and discussed the design and feel we had. They were eager to please. They delivered our cake promptly for our wedding and it was so decadent and delicious. We wish we had more room in our stomachs to eat more on the day of because it was so yummy. They called to check in with us when time approached closer to the wedding date. We saved our cake topper for our anniversary and they left a congratulations card/gift in our card holder which we thought was a very sweet touch. Thank you ladies!

We have been getting cakes from Susie G’s for years for birthdays and other special occasions and they never disappoint!! So when we were planning our wedding we knew Susie G’s was going to be our bakery! Not only did they do the most beautiful job on the wedding cake but they were so helpful and accommodating when we had to reschedule our date. They are the best bakery in town, and we always recommend them to everyone we know!!

Beautiful and delicious!! Susie G's was amazing! We placed our order with them because they were a preferred vendor at our reception venue. And now I know why. They were nothing short of awesome. They were patient while I chose the cake design, offered us several tasting options, and reassured me numerous times that the order was all set. The day of the wedding, the cake was beautiful. The rosettes on the bottom were just what I envisioned!!!! The sheet cake we opted for to saved money was beautifully decorated as well. And guest after guest commented on how delicious the cake was! Spice cake with a pumpkin mousse filling and chocolate cake with a fudge filling! Yummy!! Highly recommend this vendor!!!!

Susie Gs has excellent cakes! We did a free tasting and loved it. They were easy to work with and they even delivered our cake on a day their bakery that isn't open. Another bakery wouldn't deliver on sunday because they weren't open. Everyone also told me that you always have leftover cake at a wedding and we had absolutely none left!

We ordered both our rehearsal dinner cake and wedding cake from here! The cakes looked fantastic and tasted just as good! Everyone at Susie G’s was so kind! Thank you for making my wedding cake perfect!!!

We were so pleased with our services from Susie G's! We used them for our dessert bar. We don't like cake so we needed an alternative to a wedding cake and they had great suggestions and took the time to work with us until we were satisfied with our order. We did a small cake for the cake cutting, but then had cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and cheesecake bites set up in a cake tier and around the cake table and it looked absolutely beautiful! They took care of contacting our reception hall to see when they could come and set up the desserts so that was one less thing I had to worry about and was very grateful for that! I would definitely recommend this company for cakes or desserts for any occasion. Again, we were very pleased and our guests talked about how wonderful all of the desserts were and how pretty they looked displayed on the cake table at our reception.

Susie G's was so great to work with. When I met with them, they helped make suggestions based on the ideas I had. I had bought a garland of leaves beforehand and I asked if they could use it to decorate the cake. They said it was not a problem and that they would do it without charge. They were very flexible to work with as far as what they were able to do and different ideas for the grooms cake. We loved how everything turned out and we highly recommend them for anyone. The cakes were delicious and at a very reasonable price.

Our cake was so delicious! And our cupcakes were exactly what I wanted. We gave them a picture of what we wanted for the cake and they replicated it perfectly!!

Their cake was amazing. Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse was our wedding cake. We also had sheet cakes made with vanilla cake & strawberry, & chocolate cake & strawberry. My guests have mentioned the cake to me several times. The Vanilla & strawberry reminded them of strawberry short cake perfect for our summer wedding. The chocolate & strawberry was compared to a light tasting black Forrest cake. We had no left over cake except the top tier of our wedding cake. DELISH!!!!

We used them for our grooms cake and I had a crazy vision of them making my groom a fitted Chicago bulls hat! They beyond impressed me with making it exactly how I talked about! It made my groom beyond thrilled when he saw it! So thankful for their creativeness and passion! Love it

Our cake turned out great! We had a ruffle cake, and groom's cake. We were quoted at other places for double the price Susie G's charged us! Tasted great at the reception!

I LOVE Susie G's! Their cake is so moist and delicious! Their samples were a bit better than the actual wedding cake, but it was still amazing. And they did an AMAZING job decorating my cake! I was VERY happy!! :D

The cake we got from Susie G's was beautiful and delicious. We got my bachelorette cake from there too! The flavors were wonderful and the buttercream frosting to die for! Definitely consider Susie G's for your next event!

I bought my four tier wedding cake from Susie G's. The cake was very delicious. I got the white cake with icing, white cake with raspberry filling and chocolate cake with fudge. My favorite was the white cake with raspberry filling. The cake was pretty reasonable in price and was delivered in impeccable shape. The shop allows free tastings and they have a photo album full of example cakes they have made. The staff was easy to work with and very helpful. I recommend this shop to any bride near O'Fallon, MO.

Our wedding cake was delicious!!! The cake was so moist and the icing was amazing!!! My only issue was the design was not exactly what I wanted, but the cake still looked beautiful and tasted wonderful!!

Susie G's makes the best cakes in Saint Louis, hands down, bar none. My husband and I chose their chocolate cake with raspberry filling, and yellow cake with mocha filling. Nothing has ever tasted so good. People were asking for seconds and thirds of the cake and wanted to know where it was from. I could not have been more happy with the result. Susie herself called us the day before the wedding to double check on details to make sure it was perfect. I found that to be incredibly kind of her. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and it was a design that had never done before but it turned out a thousand times better than I could have hoped. I think the cake was the most beautiful part of the wedding. If I could recommend anything to brides in Saint Louis, choose Susie G's. Banquet halls, DJ's, etc., are basically all alike. But you won't find a cake like Susie G's.

the cake was delicious and gorgeous. I love that they used absolutely no fondants and, matched my colors perfectly! Very helpful staff and flexible.

Our cake was amazing! It was exactly what we were expecting and it was so moist! We had a four tier with 3 different colors. They worked with my florist to coordinate the flowers we wanted to have on the cake. It was wonderful.

The cake was not quite what I showed them I wanted, but it turned out better than I envisioned and tasted excellent. ( which is the most important part) My only qualm is we paid per slice and we had way more cake than was needed, so I feel like maybe we could have gotten charged a bit too much. But we had white cake with raspberry mousse and cheesecake filling and it tasted great and its mussy, romantic look fit right in with our theme!

The cake arrived as I ordered it. I have to say it was not as moist as the sample we tried, but we still got lots of compliments on it. I've used Susie G's for many other occasions and they always do a nice job. Yummy!! Also, a good value if you are a bride on a budget. They can do very nice cakes for reasonable prices.

The cake from Susie's was by far the best I've ever tasted! If you want to wow your guests with a delicious cake, this is the place to go! I will be buying all my future event cakes from Susie G's!!!

They made it exactly as I asked for! And it was delicious! Arrived on time... I can't think of anything to complain about.;The bakery smells so good when you walk in. Beware sudden cravings for sweets!
