rence in the effect of the makeup. (Among other things, she recommended a facial, frequent hydration, products containing hyaluronic acid, and rest.) She was also good enough to schedule a free foundation match the day before the event, and the morning of, she showed up as planned and made me look amazing. I was so happy to give my then-fiancé such a beautiful surprise. (Note to brides: It's good you're here. You do NOT want to go DIY on this one. Hiring a professional makeup artist is one of the things I'm proudest of about our day, and I'm so glad I chose Susan.)
I will add this: as a woman of color, it is still all-too-common to find oneself looking chalky in photos when wearing poorly-applied makeup. I'd considered going the airbrushing route, but Susan's quality products and artistic touch achieved the same effect. She is also a joy to be around and put me at ease (I was a bundle of nerves). She was so respectful and so kind. I'm truly grateful to have met her and would gladly recommend her to anyone.
