(my fav type of photography). Her images were so beautiful. There’s almost a magical glow to her pictures that stood out to me. That was for our maternity shoot back in 2017. Fast forward to 2019 and Sue did our engagement pictures and in 2020 our wedding. We have also used Sue’s talent for family portraits- our house is basically a gallery of her work. She is genuine and so easy to work with. I would recommend Sue to anyone looking for beautiful photographs that you display in your home. She’s amazing and very talented. Her work speaks for itself as she has been published multiple times. Our engagement and wedding photos were even published!

res about photography however the day of was chaotic. We had a detailed timeline and did not stick to it at all. We were staged in unflattering poses, family portraits were taken against a white wall which washed all of us out, and if it weren’t for hiring a videographer we wouldn’t have any memorable images of our ceremony or first dance because they were all blurry and poor angles. It makes me sad that this was our one day and we can’t get it back. The photos were edited in a very basic fashion. We received 600+ photos but it does no one any good if hardly any of them can be used. We prefer quality over quantity and we did not get that. If you’re looking for that soft glow from the sun images this isn’t the vendor for you. I hope my true and honest review is taken as an opportunity for improvement and not attempted to be deleted and disputed like it has been on other wedding sites that she has tried to remove it from. She is very defensive and offers blog posts to deflect a negative review but you can see from her blog posts just a glimpse of only the best images and in our case THE only best images of our ceremony (there’s only 2 blurry photos of us leaving the ceremony) and our first dance (only 2 pictures angled below us at unflattering angles and poor light editing) and a first look that didn’t even capture both of our faces and the true emotion of that reveal are posted and yes the rest are only the very few that came out good. I have many examples of photos not in the blog to reference including simple photos of our invitations that were taken in such bright light you can’t even read the information on them. Unfortunately photography is subjective and people will have their own opinions and this was ours, true and honest. I would recommend sue if you are having a very very small backyard wedding. Sue has placed blame on the weather and my husband and I and she told us it was windy and stormy that day but it was windy, the sun was out, and there was a beautiful sunset that was not captured in any sunset photos because all we could see on our faces was the reflection from the camera flash instead. And yes, weather will be blamed of course but a good photographer won’t blame the weather or their own clients for their poor quality images and that is very unprofessional.

r clients, works with them on likes & dislikes. My daughters Wedding day turned out to be a rainy day, which meant we had to go to plan B for most of the day. That alone is challenging, but, shifting from an outside ceremony at basically the last minute, to an inside ceremony calls for creative thinking by the photographer. And Sue did just that! She got creative & worked with what we had! Not only did the pictures come out beautiful, but creatively stunning!! Working with windows of opportunity within the raindrops, was no easy task, especially with a large Wedding party of 14! Everything turned out fantastic!! We couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome!!

She was so efficient that she even allotted time in the schedule to make sure the bridal party ate before we all left the house! :) Her assistant, Tegan Monfort, was a huge help as well and did an amazing job. Within a week of the wedding, we already had the Gallery of over a thousand pictures to view and enjoy. Her attention to detail is amazing and it is obvious that to her, it is not just a job, but a real passion! If you are looking for a fun, creative, reasonably priced photographer, who will go above and beyond for all involved - Suzanne Lytle Photography is the way to go! You won't be disappointed!
