n following Suzanne and Dan’s Instagram (@suzuranphotography) on Instagram for quite a while, and when it came time to select our photographer, the choice to go with them was easy. Not only did we love the aesthetic of their photography, but we loved the ways they captured small, intimate moments. When we had our engagement session with Suzanne, it was very clear that her easy-going personality was exactly what we had hoped for. She knew all the creative spots and made us feel comfortable along the way. Oh! And she’s great with dogs too! Our doggo Annie had to make an appearance for some of the pictures. Suzanne was always in touch with us and extremely accommodating. When we had to cancel our large reception to a small intimate, outdoor wedding during the pandemic, they were very understanding and took extra caution when at the reception. And over a year later, they were back with us for a large wedding reception at the Union Club of Cleveland. We wanted a photographer that was not just a business transaction, but someone we could get to know. Suzanne and Dan get to know each couple as friends, which is a really rare experience. For every step of the way, Suzuran Photography captured the most beautiful, timeless moments, and we could not be happier to have them as our photographers and friends.

As a pair, these two make your wedding smooth and fun. They worked with us and our families, accommodated mobility restrictions, and were so creative. n that, for us, felt totally foreign. By the end of the day, we were relaxed and laughing which is exactly what was captured in our photos. I was floored by how sweetly she captured these small, micro-moments of us looking at one another or turning a certain way. On our wedding day, we were both completely at ease. Dan joined my husband and the guys in their suite for the morning and Suzanne took the time to photograph all of my small wedding details while I was getting ready so i didn't feel rushed or like I had to pose the second she walked in - it was so relaxed! She and Dan coordinated perfectly for our first look and found the most magical little park near our hotel where we could exchange our vows in private. It was so special and I never felt like they were hovering or forcing a moment. It made our day feel incredibly intimate despite being followed around by 2 cameras the whole time! The most remarkable thing was how prepared they were for a rainy day that took the rest of us by surprise. They had clear umbrellas on hand, backup shooting locations and ideas for us, and were super focused on making sure they got the shot while keeping me dry and my dress white, despite the puddles. We absolutely love Suzanne and Dan - having them document our wedding felt so warm and joyful; I can't imagine having chosen anyone else!

gh it was in the middle of November, Dan was incredible! We moved to different locations around the Cleveland area, including Townhall, where some of our favorite photos were taken! We got married in Chagrin Falls and the pictures exceeded our expectations. Suzanne spent the day with the ladies and Dan with the guys - everyone had such a good time and the photos are beautiful! Your wedding is the best day of your life and I would highly recommend Suzuran to capture that day with the most breathtaking photos!

We literally scheduled our wedding day around their availability and met with Suzanne before we did anything else. They shot both our engagement and wedding photos and made us look like rockstars each time. The photographs are beautifully composed; I can't get over how many emotional nuances and setting details they captured in both sessions. Technical and artistic talent aside, Suzanne and Dan are amazing people to be around. Their humor and charm makes you feel at ease. I wish I lived in Cleveland so I could've taken them up on their offer to see their studio. I will hopefully have other opportunities to work with them on future photo sessions, but in the meantime would highly recommend them to anyone who is seriously willing to invest in photography for his or her wedding.
