Suzy is such an amazing photographer!!! I’ve used her for my wedding but also for family photos and boudoir sessions. She makes you feel so at ease and natural. She is also more than just a photographer. She helped with several little details of my wedding. Her second shooter is her son and he is an amazing photographer as well. He got lots of candid shots, which I loved! (No one wants just all posed pictures.) They make it fun and relaxing and easy. That is definitely a plus after the stress of wedding planning. Our big day was absolutely beautiful and we have gorgeous photos to cherish forever.

Suzy G has taking pictures for my family and I for many different occasions and I can say I have never been dissatisfied with her services. She is kind and patient and so very understanding! And her work is beyond beautiful. I would not want anyone else to capture our memories!

When you book a photographer and do not do an engagement session with them, there can be nerves on your wedding day. Will we "click'? Will I get the pictures I've always dreamed of? You have to 100 percent trust who you have chosen to work with - trust their craft, eye and expertise. Thankfully, we chose to work with Suzy and it was one of the best decisions we made. Suzy made me feel confident and let us be us, all while capturing it beautifully. She did it all - posed, fluffed, corralled and even sang Baby Shark to get a tired 18 month old flower girl to smile. Ms Suzy G. I could literally write a book raving on about her! We are from Ohio and married in New Orleans, so to start the process of finding the perfect vendors being states away, was a bit daunting to me at first. Until I reviewed Suzy G's website. We were in love with her work, the beauty she captures in every photo. We reached out to her immediately and she was very quickly responsive to every question we had. After months of planning and searching venues, vendors etc. we were able to schedule a meeting face to face with Suzy and it was instant that we knew she was perfect for us. Such an amazing person, compassionate, calming, funny , professional and the ability to see our vision so clearly. She suggested a specific location to shoot our "Vintage" Engagement photos, It was the perfect place for us! After that we headed over to get some nature shots in, which turned out breathtaking. Suzy had went out of her way spending 3.5 hours with us that day to make sure she captured all she could, when in her packages she allows 2 hours ❤. She was able to have our photos back to us in a matter of weeks, and I had them all printed..they were perfect. Day of the wedding Ms Suzy shows up right on time, and directed and helped everyone along to make sure there were no hiccups along the way. Our family fell in love with her and her second shooter "Q", her son. Such an amazingly talented, funny, respectful young man he is. They work so well together. In a matter of days Suzy had already posted a handful of our wedding photos, a Sneak Peak she calls it, I instantly was in tears, they were so beautiful! Honestly cannot rave enough about Suzy and her family. We love them, and feel we not only met a skilled Photographer, but feel they are now a part of our family. We plan to continue to stay in touch and possibly schedule anniversary photoshoots each year❤

We loved Suzy! We purchased the package that includes the engagement session, and we couldn’t have been happier with our pictures. She redid our engagements to try and capture a few additional images for us as well. Suzy worked well with our budget and the requests we had. We plan to use her again in the future. Her calm demeanor was a nice balance to the stress and chaos of our wedding day. After speaking to over a dozen photographers, I’m glad we went with Suzy for our special day.

Too long; didn’t read: Suzy and the photos she produces are the best bang for your buck. First, when you first start looking for wedding photographers, most of us are dollar-struck by how expensive they can be. HOWEVER, you must look at what that price includes. We selected her Day-Of package and received a BOATLOAD of edited photos digitally that I can share with anyone. Second, have you ever been to a wedding where folks compliment you on the photographer? It’s usually raves about the food, the venue, the flowers, etc. I got so many compliments about Suzy and her second shooter. Comments I heard were 1)“Your photographer was like a ninja! One second she is here capturing this moment, and then next over there capturing that moment! 2) “It’s refreshing to have a photographer that doesn’t interrupt the ceremony with their shuffling and clicking.” 3) “She got a great picture of me!!” Finally, coordinating with Suzy was a breeze. From the initially meeting to the final good-byes, we communicated mostly through email, and her responses were prompt and professional. Even during the wedding, coordinating and communicating were easy. I highly recommend Suzy G Photography!

Suzy G was so kind and so professional! The moment we found her website and looked through her portfolio we knew her artistic style and creativity would be perfect for our wedding . She was also punctual and very accommodating.

Suzy was such a wonderful photographer to work with. I had done 3 photo shoots with her leading up to the wedding and every time our photos came out wonderful. We got married during the Hurricane Barry weather scare and she went above and beyond, staying at a friend’s house nearby to make sure she would be able to get there the day of the wedding. She was efficient and made sure to grab shoots of our day without taking up our whole reception to do so. We’re so excited to get all of our photos back from the wedding. Thank you Suzy for making our big day so wonderful and for being such a great and trustworthy vendor. We so so appreciate it!

Suzy was the photographer for one of my best friend’s wedding. I loved her work and decided she was the one I wanted for my wedding as well! From day one Suzy was professional and stayed in touch. She responded in a timely manner and was flexible with her schedule. Louisiana weather can be very unpredictable, but Suzy worked with me to move our sessions around for better weather. She was basically a life saver! Suzy made our wedding adventure fun, and now we have these beautiful pictures to remember our special day! Thank you suzy! ❤️

I’m not one to write bad reviews, but I am pretty passionate about the negative experience I had. I also don’t want anyone else to get fooled by all of the positive reviews like I did. I could prob write a short novel on my experience, but the knot won't let me lol. I find where Suzy takes on too many clients and becomes lazy with corresponding and editing. Even when she seems really backed up, her page is always advertising for family portraits and what not. I will say that our engagement pictures were beautiful. My bridal pictures were ok and so were the wedding pictures. There were many missed opportunities for great pictures at the wedding and a lot of cool moments (our entrance into the reception, bouquet toss, sparkler exit) that only had one of two mediocre pictures. I was surprised that a lot of pictures I was looking forward to seeing looked like they could have been taken by a friend with an iPhone (not even the fancy X). That’s because hardly any wedding pictures were edited... many important ones were even off centered and/or tilted. My bigger problems were with Suzy’s lack of professionalism. She hardly ever responded to emails, especially after she was paid. There were times she wouldn’t respond to me so I’d wait a few days or a week before trying again and would still get no response. A few weeks after the wedding I asked if she could send me a couple of pictures so that I could give one to my dad for Christmas and put two or three on a Christmas card. I told her if she was too busy just let me know and I would do something else for the card. She didn’t respond. A few days later I asked her on her Facebook page. She said she would send them the next day. When she didn’t, my mom messaged. My mom wasn’t rude at all in her message, but Suzy sent me the rudest email about “never have your mom message me again” and gave me excuse after excuse of basically why she wasn’t doing her job. I sent her an email back expressing my disappointment, and she apologized and said she would send me my whole gallery by a certain date (which I never even asked about). I didn't receive any pictures that day, but I was not surprised. She did send an email the next day saying she was running one or two days behind. I got the pictures finally four days after that, only after being told more times she was sending them on earlier days. It got to the point where I had to ask her if she just forgot to send me the link. When she did send me the gallery she said “I apologize if any pictures are blurry, my eyes are so tired”. I’m sorry... but you’re sending them six days after your original date (and it's been over a month after the wedding) and it made me think she hadn’t even looked at the bulk of the pictures which was obvious when looking at some of the pictures. Fast forward to more recent months, it took nine months to get the prints and wedding album. Our families knew the situation and told us to keep staying on top of her. I was told in the beginning of June I would get them by the end of June. I got the book today, and it’s August 14th. The prints and book are both mediocre. Some of the prints are cropped so strange that I wonder how a professional photographer actually looked at them and thought they were okay to send. Overall, I wish I would have spent an extra grand and gotten someone who would have delivered nice photos in a timely and professional manner. Not someone who seemed mad and upset with me for asking her for what I paid for.

Suzy and her team were a large part of making our wedding day special. I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing because she was on top of it! Our pictures turned out amazing and she was great to work with.

Suzy was amazing and does amazing work. Her photojournalistic style was exactly what I was looking for. She captured each moment so perfectly and we will treasure these memories for years to come. Thank you Suzy for all the beautiful pictures of our special day, you went above and beyond to make us feel natural and relaxed during our engagement session and our first look. I would recommend Suzy to anyone in search for an amazing photographer with a sweet and charming personality as an added bonus!

Very disappointed in her professionalism. She failed to keep her commitment of when the photos would be available. She stayed two weeks. When I reached out several times via email for an update, she failed to reply. Reached out again after 4 weeks, she failed to reply until I text her. She gave me a date & again failed to meet it. Out of 80 pictures, I was only happy with 20. I don’t think she did any editing. And when I asked that some be made black and white, again no reply. Definitely would not recommend

SUZY G!!! I mean honestly I do not think I can even begin to put into words how amazing she is as a photographer. She literally took the most amazing photos. Her price is so reasonable for all she does. She has so much talent, patience and flexibility. I feel like she is the best money I have ever spent. I want to stay in touch and be her friend for ever because she really touched my heart with her kind soul. She is an amazing photographer and human being. She makes you feel so comfortable. Even my husband enjoyed the photo shoots and he is NOT one to ever say anything like that at all. She made every step of the wedding process easy and effortless. If you need a photographer SUZY is the BEST! Thank you so much Suzy I literally couldn't imagine my big day without you by my side the whole day. I was so nervous about choosing a photographer for my wedding, but I knew when I first contacted Suzy that she would be perfect! The packages that she offered were very well priced and included so much! I instantly went to her website and viewed her work and looked at her reviews as well, and I easily chose Suzy! During every session that I had with her, she was so sweet, caring, professional, and attentive. Wedding time is such a stressful time, and she kept me calm through it all. She has so many tips and tricks due to her expertise, it made everything go very smoothly. Suzy is not only my friend but was also my wedding photographer. As a photographer myself, I HATE being in front of the camera and dreaded having pictures taken of myself on my wedding day. However as always Suzy came with her relaxed, calm, reassuring nature and I went from uneasy to laughing and having fun. Amazing! Suzy was fantastic throughout the entire process and every picture was beautiful. She traveled to New Orleans, White Castle, and Baton Rouge for my sessions. She was the absolute sweetest and so down to earth. She truly had my vision in my mind. I have received SO many compliments on all of the photos! She even helped when my salon could not figure out how to put in my birdcage veil.

I honestly don't know where to start with this review of the amazing Suzy G, so I will just dive on in. Suzy is not just an amazing photographer but an amazing person. We got married in LA but are from TX so we had to pick a photographer kind of blindly and Suzy was beyond helpful. She did our engagement photo's and wedding photos. She made us feel as ease the entire time and took her time with us, we never felt rushed. On my wedding day she arrived at the venue before I even got there and let me tell you she was the person who lead the wedding and reception. Yes she was there to take pictures but she did so much more for me. She literally helped get people out on the dance floor, I had guests tell me that if it was not for her they may have stayed seated. The entire wedding party loved her and could not stop talking about what a good photographer I had scored. Her husband was with her as a second shooter / my personal security guard! No joke he stood and blocked a door with his body so that no one could see in during our first look, it was beyond the call of duty. During the reception they passed around an iPad with the photos they had already taken and without the final touches on the photos they looked amazing, guests wanted copies that night. When it came time for our cake cutting it was Suzy who showed us what to do, again not her job but that is just who she is. When we got our photos back Suzy told me that if I wanted any special editing done to any photos to just let her know and she would be happy to do it for us. Suzy puts a lot of work in on the photos she takes you can tell when you get them back that she is not ok unless this photos are perfect. I honestly think she puts her blood, sweat,and tears into her photos. I wish that we lived closer so that I could use her for all my photo needs. She is 110% worth the drive from TX to LA I hope to use her again.

Suzy is by far the greatest photographer I know. During my wedding process , choosing her was one of my best decisions. Suzy is an awesome person and photographer. She was able to capture the quaint, vintage feel of our wedding in each image. My face was glowing in each bridal shot even though I remembered being red and sweaty. I have to say that I was blown away by my beautiful bridal portraits and boudoir session with Suzy. She had a great personality and seemed like the perfect laid back photographer for my camera shy husband. I am scoring her a not-so-perfect rating because I was very displeased with many of my wedding photos and for lack of communication. There were quite a few artsy venue photos that were really neat but there was only 2 pics of my mother -n- law and not many of my groom's family. There were tons of pics of us having fun on the dance floor but there were hardly any of the family that mattered the most. Also, when I printed and received photos they were so digitally enhanced that we did not look very natural. I reached out to Suzy by e-mail a few times requesting all of my original images and have not heard anything back from her. It also took almost six months to get our photos back. This was the most beautiful day of my life and I was sub-par satisfied with out photos. We had a breahtaking venue but many of our pics were only satisfactory. We also never received any prints as stated in the original contract.

Suzy was awesome!! She went with me to Baton Rouge for the day to do my bridals and we had a blast!! All of my pictures turned out GOURGEOUS and she guided me every step of the way!! The day of my wedding she arrived early than planed and help me with anything I needed and was so sweet the whole time!! I honestly can say that I choose one of the best photographers for my wedding events and she was so relaxed and very professional. Thank you again Suzy for sharing my special day with me :))!!!

Not only is she a great photographer but she is a great person! There for all of your needs, not just to take pictures. Her pictures are absolutely amazing! Our groomsmen had a little too much to drink but she was able to round them up for the pictures of the bridal party and didn't lose her patience, which is something I definitely would have done. I hired Suzy for our Engagement and Wedding pictures. From the first conversation I had with her I knew she was meant to be our photographer. You can feel her passion for photography with just a conversation. Suzy took our engagement pictures. She was professional in every way. She knew how to make us relax to look more natural in our pictures. Suzy also was conscious about our "bodies" and made good suggestions for us to look leaner and poised. She was not concerned about time limits, offering to keep shooting after almost 3 hours. We could tell that she wanted to capture "our love" with her picture's. I have suggested her to anyone that says they are thinking of getting their pictures taken. When looking for a photographer I knew I wanted someone special with a unique style! I searched and searched and came across Suzy! She was very easy to work with.. We came up with a package that met me and my husbands needs! Suzy photographed our engagements as well as our wedding! The pictures came out so great. After the wedding I was so anxious to get our book that she designed! I began to get impatient waiting for the book, HOWEVER, once the book came in it was well worth the wait!! It was everything I wanted!! I will definitely be using Suzy in the future and would definitely recommend her! Her prices were great and packages can be customized to fit anyone's needs!!

I fell in love with Suzy G's website initially. I love her style and passion for her work. I had my engagements done the week before our wedding summer of 2012. My now husband is not a fan of picture taking much less in the heat of the summer. Suzy G made him comfortable and have so much more fun for our wedding pictures. We decided to do a "first look" prior to our wedding. I recommend doing a first look if you want to have more time with your guests. Ultimately,it gave my husband and I about 10 minutes that we will remember forever. Suzy was great about making sure that that moment was special and intimate. Our wedding day was perfect and it was because of Suzy G. She made sure everything was perfect. She kept everything on track with our original plan as to pictures prior to wedding to ensure that after the ceremony we didn't spend forever taking pictures. Pictures were a really big concern and focal point with my wedding. I wanted memories that would look great forever. I am so pleased with the outcome of all of our pictures. I knew I needed to find an engagement and wedding photographer that not only was experience, but had their own sense of style. I found exactly that and MORE with Suzy G. Not only is she easy to work and communicate with, she gets to know her clients and expresses their personalities and style through her breath taking images. She is full of ideas, friendly to work with and her quality of pictures are the BEST!!!! Suzy G was not only our engagement and wedding photographer, she has become our "go to" photographer and a great friend. My family and friends use her and anyone who ever asks my opinion on photographers in our town I always direct them to Suzy G. She is absolutely amazing and we will be lifetime clients of hers. On a more personal note: When my husband and I decided on Suzy G we invited her over to our house to talk "specifics" and to book our date. When she arrived our dog, Hope immediately fell in love with her which was strange because she is a very skittish dog (she was a rescue dog). Later after talking we found out that Suzy G actually fostered our dog Hope through the agency we adopted her through. Suzy G is very kind hearted and I always love sharing this story. It really is a small world we live in.

We got married in March 2013. I am new to the area i currently live and had to go on line to fine a photographer. Her pictures stood out and were more our "style". Since i lived about 1 1/2 hours away it was difficult to meet with her in person. The first time I meet her was on our wedding day. Since my husband and I were not interested in engagement pics or Pre-bridals, she adjusted to what we wanted. She meet us at a Sweet Cane Inn in Natchitoches, LA on our wedding day. We just wanted on day full of pictures of us getting ready, the wedding, some of the two of use, and of course the reception. It was one day with tons of pictures and she pulled it off. The pictures she took of us and our family are wonderful. Would recommended her to anyone.

Suzy was simply amazing to work with. She did our engagements/ wedding/ reception/ and the morning after shoot for all our wedding needs. She is very professional and also very friendly. Suzy did our wedding, our engagement and my bridal pics. Our engagement pics turned out good. . My bridals didn't. Only about 2 pictures turned out ok Bc of wind and weather. Disappointing and no reshoot offered. Our wedding pictures were pretty good. The 2nd shooter Brittany was truly amazing. I chose Suzy because I fell in love with Suzy's website and her idea of capturing a couples love and passion. I also loved her idea of a storybook photo book of your wedding pictures that she makes for you after the wedding. Well.... I'm disappointed in how long it took her to finish my storybook after the wedding. I feel that after she got paid and the wedding was over, she didn't care as much and almost forgot about me. I wanted her to be my photographer for our next photoshoot when a baby comes. But now, I will look elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Suzy was truly amazing at photographing my wedding! I would refer her over and over again. I will use her again in the future for anything from family portraits to photographing my dogs!! She was a lot of fun as well and had an outstanding team of photographers with her as second and third shooters to make sure every moment is captured! One last detail, she was reasonable with her pricing. Compared to other photographers in the area, she proved best and her work was comparable if not better! She has a unique style but she makes sure to understand your style as well, great job Suzy!!

I live in Virginia, but my family is in Louisiana, so I had something of a "destination wedding!" Photography was, hands down, the most important item for us as we were planning the wedding. Everything else lasts only for one day, but pictures are forever! We went through many photographer websites and spoke to several people, and finally decided on Suzy. We were impressed by the photos in her online portfolio and we were pleased that her packages include a second shooter to make sure nothing is missed. Suzy was not the least expensive option available, but she was not the most expensive either and I firmly believe this is one area no bride should compromise for budget. I know more than one person who hired a family friend or hobbyist and ended up with either poor pictures or no pictures at all. None of the standard packages listed on her website really conformed to what we needed, since we were working long distance and wouldn't be able to do, for example, an engagement shoot or bridals before the wedding. Suzy worked with us to come up with a package that met our needs, and she was very good about answering all of our questions about the contract. I warned her ahead of time that we had a lot of photographers in the family and she said at once that that was absolutely fine (I did also warn the family to be mindful of the pro). We enjoyed talking to Suzy on the phone and could tell she had passion and personality, but I was not expecting just how helpful Suzy would be to me on my wedding day. My wedding was in the afternoon and by the time Suzy arrived, we'd had several complications and issues and I had worked up a full load of stress and worry. From the moment she arrived, Suzy was joking with me, telling me all sorts of stories about her kids and other weddings she'd been too. When I would start to worry about something she would remind me to relax and get me laughing again. We had a cocktail hour after the wedding to entertain our guests while we did pictures prior to the reception, and because we had a second shooter, that photographer (Dee, who was also lovely) was able to cover the cocktail hour while we did portraits with Suzy. Within a week or two of the wedding, Suzy posted some of our photos on her blog and my family and friends were all very impressed with the photos. She captured some really sweet moments, including one shot of my grandmother that made me catch my breath and say "Oh!" When I asked if I could have the photos that were ready so that I could show them at a local reception for friends who could not come to the wedding, she made it happen with no hesitation. Needless to say, we were very happy that we chose Suzy to work with. I am one of the last of my friends to get married and I have seen wedding after wedding where the photographer was grumpy, stuffy, and brusque. Suzy is none of those. She is loud (but not too loud), happy, and a joy to be around. I think we made a great choice and I would recommend her to any of my friends.

It was wonderful to work with Susan...she was there every step of the way!! from our shower to rehearsal dinner to wedding and reception...Her package included a 3 hour session of just me in my dress which was the highlight of my wedding!!!!! I never knew i would want to see my groom BEFORE the wedding but she mentioned a "first look" session...she took me and my hubby and another photographer to a hotel on the day of our wedding a couple of hours before our wedding.. i walked up behind him,so nervous,so excited...tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around to see me for the first time...i can't explain the true emotions we experienced, the intimate setting with 2 photographers catching every moment....I LOVED our first Look!!! The sessions of my wedding party in Old town were fabulous!! (she came two days before our wedding to scope out possible photo shoots in Wichita..) she gave points to me and my family and wedding party about How to pose!! I really appreciated those tips!! She worked extremely hard to catch every detail of the wedding and reception and many,many,many family photos which meant the world to have!! I have over a thousand memories, i love them all!! t

I wanted to book Suzy very badly but she was already booked on my wedding day. I would highly recommend looking at her website to see how talented she is.

I love the pictures, the hard work, the enthusiasm and most of all, the comfort of knowing that I will have great photos of our wedding. No matter what happened that day, the photos show nothing but beauty and elegance. She is open to suggestions, yet has her own ideas. Very nice, funny, family oriented, and trustworthy person that I enjoyed having at such a special event as our wedding. She got to know everyone, and they all loved her, and commented on how much footage she got. Thanks Suzy!
