SUZYQUE'S BBQ & BAR

Suzy and her entire crew helped to make my rustic lake wedding AMAZING! My fiancé and I were looking for a food that would not only be delicious but would fit our personalities and the laid back feel of our wedding. We went out to eat at Suzy's with a groupon and loved the food so much we emailed her to see if she catered as well. She responded promptly letting us know how to get the process started...and by promptly I mean within hours...and did I mention she was helping plan and catering her daughter's wedding all at the same time! She worked with us on pricing and helped to create an amazing menu of appetizers and main dishes. She took the initiative to meet with our venue without even going through us, which was a big help! We had so much to do that it was nice to have a vendor who took ownership of their role in the planning process. The day of the wedding she and her crew managed the wedding better than my day of coordinator...so much so that I wish I had booked her to continue working the wedding for the rest of the night. When we ran out of wine during the cocktail hour (which I completely screwed up) she had her team go to the store and they kept the party going until the guests could get inside to the open bar. The food was absolutely wonderful! No one understood us having BBQ at our wedding instead of a fancy overcooked chicken breast with fluffy potatoes and veggies. That was until they tasted the amazing goodness that is Suzy's food! We got so many compliments on the food (especially the Mac and Cheese, Mac&Cheese Bites, and of course the Brisket & Chicken). We could not have asked for anything more. We really enjoyed working with Suzy and her team. Without them our wedding wouldn't have been quite as awesome as it was....and it definitely was AWESOME!
