Polina & her team are one of the best caterers that you can hire for your wedding. From our first phone call, she took incredibly detailed information and came up with a proposal and a menu that was exactly what we were looking for. With a lot of event caterers, they already have menus developed and all you can really do is choose options. While thats a very easy option, it doesn't feel very personal. Polina made it so that the process was both easy and professional, not to mention delicious. My mother in law came to the tasting with me and she absolutely loved the food and so did I. I still think about how even the smallest, simplest dish was outstanding ( the grilled vegetables that had the perfect amount of acidity due to the marinade they were in prior to being grilled). There are also the plantains with sweet crema that I was initially skeptical about but became one of my favorites. After the tasting, Polina was incredibly flexible with any changes that I made to the menu or service style as well as incredibly helpful with suggestions for the tiniest details like water glass to colors/material for the table top. That attention to detail extended to our site visit where she thought of things that I would have never considered that would have made a huge stylistic & organizational difference to our day. In a way she transcends just being a caterer and is a wonderful resource to your planning/coordination team. I've recommend Svetlana to everyone that I know in the Bay Area who is looking for catering because I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience with them.
