It’s true that I am drawn to light, and that includes the light within people. They say part of my gift is my intuitiveness and my open-mindedness, but I say that I just want everyone to feel important. I want you to know that you are truly heard and seen in all your authenticity, and I want you to know that you are a work of art. FROM INQUIRY TO DELIVERY From the moment you get in touch until the moment you receive your curated heirloom album, every step of the journey is handled personally by me, Svetlana. It’s the best way I know how to ensure you receive only the highest-quality service and products every single time. Svetlana Photography is committed to preserving your wedding story - and the stories of life thereafter - with beautifully crafted and expertly curated images you will treasure for a lifetime. THE SIGNATURE WEDDING EXPERIENCE Your wedding experience begins at a base rate of $2600 for 6 hours of shooting time and is completely customizable to your needs. Make it your own by adding a la carte items such as additional hours, extra sessions (boudoir, bridal, engagement, etc.), a second photographer, OR (everyone’s can’t-miss favorite!) an heirloom album. we wanted a photographer who was experienced with indoor photography (as well as outdoor photography!). Svetlana shot our engagement photos and our wedding, and we loved every minute of working with her. My husband and I (2 engineers) are not natural models, but Svetlana arrived with such enthusiasm and knew exactly how to pose us (and make it look natural!). She was also able to keep up with the chaos of the wedding day, capturing everything from my bridals to us dancing the night away. When the bridal party arrived 30 minutes late and I was feeling quite anxious, Svetlana knew exactly what pictures she wanted to take and what pictures were on our shot list and got to shooting away. Her positivity and professionalism saved the day! The quality and creativity of Svetlana's work is invaluable. the day of the wedding and I needed help getting dressed. Svetlana actually helped me get into my corset bra, shoes, and wedding dress the day of the wedding because everyone else was behind on their hair & makeup. I felt embarrassed having to ask her, but she immediately made me feel so comfortable. She is one of the kindest people I’ve met and you can tell she is extremely dedicated to her work. She was incredibly professional and told us exactly what to do – where to stand, what to do with our hands, etc. which eased our minds. All of our family members and guests loved her! We received our photos after the wedding very quickly (2-3 weeks) which included the bridal portraits I had taken the day of the wedding, as well. My goodness, I can’t even look at our wedding photos without crying! Svetlana was able to capture all of the most important moments while somehow still managing to find the time to capture those precious candid moments, as well. She has the incredible ability of capturing raw emotion in every photograph so it takes me back to the day of the wedding every time I look at the photos. Where other vendors were hit or miss over the long months of wedding planning and through the event itself, Svetlana was always responsive, thoughtful, professional, and an all around lovely lady. For (an extreme) example: the day of my wedding began with tornado sirens and historic flooding but Svetlana arrived calm and confident which gave me such a sense of relief I almost started to cry. Born and raised in a small town in Russia, my mom encouraged me from the beginning to learn a foreign language so that I might leave my home country and find a better life.
While in high school, I studied day and night and got admitted to a very prestigious university, The Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod, where I studied both English and French. Upon graduation in 2002, I decided to pursue the “American Dream” and I did so alone‒ without any family and with only $300 in my pocket.
