We were so thankful to have the Swan Lake Overlook team on our side for our wedding. They helped make it a truly magical day. It was everything we had dreamed of. They helped bring our vision to life. Their support and guidance through this whole process was amazing. We could not have asked for better staff. They answered every question and helped everything move the way it needed to. The venue was beautiful. We kept hearing that from our guests all night. This venue is already beautiful on its own, but the fact that you can easily make it fit your needs makes it even better. If I had to do this all over again I would still pick Swan Lake Overlook.

Swan Lake Overlook is a luxurious wedding and event venue. Our venue sits on 225 acres of land that has been in our family for over 100 years. Our scenic views overlook the North Georgia Mountains and come with all of the well loved mountain elements. We are conveniently located just north of Atlanta, providing the perfect mountain destination wedding just outside of the city. Our guests can enjoy several ceremony spots around our property and a large indoor venue space with seating for up to 300 guests. A glorious hilltop oasis sets the scene for romantic outdoor ceremonies. Mature trees and bright meadows frame the space, creating an enchanting ambiance. The happy couple can exchange vows in beautiful space as their loved ones look on. Afterwards, they can head to the covered patio to begin the festivities or enjoy a refreshing open-air cocktail hour. There are plenty of opportunities to take stunning portraits on the grounds. Swan Lake Overlook delivers everything promised in the name. The venue features a large indoor event space with remarkable views of the sparkling lake. This creates an unmatchable atmosphere as couples and their loved ones sit down to dine. Each delicious bite is complemented by the stunning sights of Swan Lake. hen I was touring venues. First and foremost, the team at Swan Lake is so easy to work with and while they offer all-inclusive packages, they also allow you to bring on your own vendors, provided that they have insurance. This was a priority for me as I didn't want a cookie cutter type of wedding. Second, the Estate House which is an airbnb type of accommodation on the venue allowed all of our wedding party and their spouses (close to 40 people) to stay in the same place a couple of days leading up to the wedding and the night after the wedding is over. Not only did this make things much more convenient, we also had our Vietnamese Tea Ceremony AND rehearsal dinner at the Estate House and the team at the venue helped us set up chairs and tables for us free of charge. And lastly, Swan Lake is a GORGEOUS venue. It's easy to plan the aesthetic of your wedding when the venue does most of the job for you. And as a bonus, they have a pretty good rain backup plan as well! My guests posted so many pictures from the wedding the days following the event because they truly loved how pretty it was. In summary, BOOK SWAN LAKE FOR YOUR WEDDING! You will not regret it! (:

Our daughter’s wedding was held at Swan Lake Overlook in May. When we arrived for the rehearsal the night before the ceremony, we noticed their lake and fountain (first pictures on...

their website) was drained, smelling of sewage with the fountain broken and on its side sunk in the mud. We were shocked and dismayed as this was the sight of our reception! We felt ashamed and embarrassed by the unsightly views and smell. The owners never apologized or acknowledged that they should have called us rather than wait to address it only when we asked them what happened upon our arrival. We also rented the estate house for two nights and it didn’t have air conditioning in half the bedrooms and the water never heated more than lukewarm. We trusted Swan Lake with our daughter’s wedding. This venue was the largest portion of our wedding budget and honestly what we were most excited about to share with our guests. Bottom line, they did not treat us with respect or professionalism. They didn’t show care or concern that we paid for and expected the venue to look as it did on our tour. A trustworthy and high quality business owner would be upfront and offer accommodation. The true test of a business is how do they respond to their customers when things don’t go according to plan. This is exceedingly important for a high cost/ high stakes event such as your daughter’s wedding.

s been constantly improving the venue by adding extensions, renovating, landscaping, and more. From December when we toured the venue to August of our wedding, our venue was better than what we signed up for! Moreover, working with Warren, Mechelle, and Sierra was a pleasure. Communications were always responsive and professional, and throughout the entire process of deciding on the venue, approving vendors, and our final planning for the day, they were extremely helpful. Their list of preferred vendors is great, and we ended up using some of them. For the vendors that we brought in externally, the process of getting them approved was smooth and we had 0 issues. Between Sierra and our own day of coordinator, everything was planned perfectly and flowed smoothly on the day of the wedding. Our wedding was in August, and even though it was very hot and humid outside, the inside had solid AC, and as it turned to evening, even outside was perfect. We were out there for hours taking pictures, and we were fine. Speaking of pictures, the venue was beautiful in August. We were blessed with rain the week before our wedding, and everything was green. The rolling hills, the forest, and the sunset - it was perfect! Finally, we had glowing feedback from all our guests. They loved the venue and its location and were constantly taking pictures! Additionally, multiple guests complimented how organized everything was such as driving in to the farm and being directed where to park. We're super thankful for Swan Lake and all its staff!

. Michelle and her staff were amazing. She answered my never-ending questions with quick responses. The animals roaming around are great entertainment and make for some great pictures. Our whole wedding party also stayed in the Estate House on the property the night before the wedding. The Estate House is so convenient with a lot of space. The honeymoon/bridal suite is so pretty and great for wedding day brunch with the girls. Loved everything about this venue and can't believe they have only been open for 2 years. They have already completed so many great updates in that short time and can't imagine how it can get more perfect; however, I bet they will find a way.

I've not seen many venues with the combination of the lovely setting, and all of the conveniences you'd want - a spectacular bridal suite for getting ready (and a groom space too), beautiful outdoor setting for outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and a lovely estate house on the property if you want to stay on-site. We were so fortunate that the animals were roaming around on the evening of our event, which made it all the more special.... and made for great photos too!

fell in love with Swan Lake from moment when we got there. A hidden gem with a beautiful, large, and functional bridal suite, fantastic open reception space, gorgeous outdoor ceremony space (with the best rain contingency plan too), and even the option for on-site accommodations! 10/10 recommend going to see the property! You won’t regret it!!
