re, I was disappointed in the fact that there wasn't any special diet offerings for my husband who is diabetic. Sugary carbohydrates for breakfast aren't for diabetics. The couple who own the place were nice and very accomodating but the upstairs room was very stuff and hot the first day we were there. A nice variety of wedding packages are available for every budget, and the location is in a quiet neighborhood close to restaurants and the waterfront. Not a lot of parking space, but this wasn't really a problem for a small wedding. The Astoria Room is well appointed, certainly not luxurious in comparison with other B&B's where I've stayed, but comfortable. The shower was a nightmare for anyone who is tall, my husband kept knocking the shampoo and conditioner containers off with the contents spilling all over the floor of the shower which could be dangerous if someone slipped on the contents. All in all a pleasant stay outside of the dietary considerations and lack of cooling in the room during the day time.
