We held our wedding at Swank Farms on August 30, 2026. The property itself is beautiful, and our wedding turned out beautiful because of our family, friends, vendors, and all the w...
ork we put into it. Unfortunately, our experience with the management and customer service did not match the beauty of the property.
Yes, the property can be an affordable option compared to other venues, but in our experience, the customer service simply wasn’t worth the savings. When you are still spending thousands of dollars on one of the most important days of your life, you should feel welcomed, supported, and respected—not like you are an inconvenience.
My biggest advice to future couples is to get everything in writing and do not rely on verbal promises. Ask detailed questions about exactly what is included before signing or paying.
There is much more that happened than I can reasonably include here. I posted a detailed Google review explaining our full experience for anyone considering Swank Farms, & pictures and I highly recommend reading it before making your decision.
I am actually a wedding Coordinator, and had an amazing experience when working along side the swank staff. I would definitely recommend this venue and would work with them again. ...
:)
The coordinator, Ping, was friendly and made so many accommodations for us to have the perfect day. We had our daughters 15ñera in their cool barn. Ping hooked us up and made sure ...
everything ran smoothly with our own vendors and decorations. The drinks they had in their bar was a big hit and the barns attractions like the jumpers and sunflower field were amazing which made for great pictures as well. Definitely will have another event there.
Such a beautiful venue with all the amendments to provide all the feels on our special day. Licia helped out with making sure our day went amazing, They had a speaker system built ...
in so our guests could listen to music even while our DJ set up. They had a bar for guests, full kitchen, a groomsman room, and the upstairs was beautiful for my wife to get ready. We did use our own caterer (Rosie Posie Events) but she did have recommended caterers incase you're looking.
Wow reading the comments and reviews below is really surprising given that my experience has been sooooo different .
I have had the pleasure of working with Ping to book and plan...
our wedding for Nov 2022. She has truly been amazing and a huge support through the whole planning process. The communication with her has always been prompt, clear and honest! She has great ideas and is always going above and beyond to help make our day so special.
The venue is honestly breath taking; it a girls dream come true. Although it is a barn and very rustic it really also is elegant.
Please dont look any further and book your cebrations here. Please ask for Ping!
We had our wedding here in 2022. The owner Dick Swank is VERY nice and easy to work with and has built a really nice venue honoring his late wife, Bonnie. This was Bonnie’s dream....
Unfortunately, the lady managing it, is not honoring that dream at all. Throughout the planning process, she never wrote anything down, wouldn’t respond to my emails, would miss our meetings and not show up…would promise something then forget she did or try to go back on her promise, etc…didn’t let that bother me too much and kept planning doing it all myself. Fast forward to the wedding…the only thing I hired her extra to do was open bar as we had to go through them for alcohol. She promised two bartenders for our near 150 guests. This was to include water, and non-alcoholic drinks. She did not provide bartenders and our friends attending the wedding had to step in to bartend, she was RUDE to our guests (have heard multiple stories from guests wondering who she even was), did not provide water on a 100* day or soda (we had to run out and buy some ourselves), took the bar tips mid way through the night and was on the dance floor with someone we did not invite to our wedding (still not sure who he was, I’m guessing a man friend of hers) almost all night. The event was over at 10pm and looked us in the eyes at 10:05 and said we needed to leave and get out now as the last of us were cleaning up. I have NEVER met anyone quite like this woman. Our wedding was the most magical day but only because we had to do EVERYTHING and the only thing I had to leave up to her, she failed miserably on. I would voice to this venue she needs to go! Then please please give Swank Farms your business once and if they switch managers!
Do yourself a favor and run from the Venue, it's beyond poorly managed!
The Venue Coordinator has no idea what she's doing, unorganized and unprofessional.
Two days before a frie...
nds Anniversary Event, the Coordinator called saying she had COVID and did not have backup to do the set up!
Sadly, my friend and her family and friends had no option than to run around and set the event up themselves. They were all exhausted by the time the party took place
But here's the kicker; Swank Farms made ZERO attempt discount the charges and actually had the balls to charge a set up fee! Seriously!
The day of the party showed up saying the had COVID but would wear a mask and my friend ended up in the Hospital three days later with COVID.
Even though the barn is new and nice, there are plenty of establish venues that you should consider that have better landscaping and trees for shade.
The wedding and photos came out so beautiful the barn was completely elegant and beautiful!
