Sway Chicago Orchestra

The best day of my life would not have been possible without Sway! The band was airtight, they read the room perfectly and executed a perfect setlist, and the dance floor was packed until midnight (on a Sunday!). Kurt was an excellent MC and Steve was very easy to work with on the days leading up to the event. They assisted with the sound for our ceremony, and it went flawlessly. The pianist who performed for our cocktail hour was superb. They were even cool enough to invite myself and my friends on stage to play a song together. Our guests can't stop talking about how incredible Sway was, booking Sway was the best choice we made for our wedding. Thank you!

WOW - the band absolutely KILLED IT at our wedding. All of our guests still can't stop raving about them. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. They learned our first dance songs and they sounded beautiful. My only recommendation is that if you want a specific song played make it very clear that it MUST be played at some point in the night.

My husband and I loved the music at our wedding--honestly, it was probably our favorite aspect of our wedding. Steve was easy to work with and was able to organize our ceremony and reception music. The band even learned some songs in Polish and Spanish for the wedding! The dance floor was packed all night, and our guests are still raving about the music!

We are so happy we chose Sway for our 9/7/19 wedding! Throughout the entire process, the team was incredibly helpful and supportive with any questions we had. The night of the wedding, they were energetic, professional, and absolutely amazing! Everyone we talk to comments on how much fun they had dancing - the floor was packed the entire night. I would highly (highly) recommend Steve and the Sway band. They were absolutely amazing at the wedding itself, and great to work with beforehand. More specifically, their sound was amazing at the event, and they had range to cover many genre of music for different audiences. And they were very helpful on the front end, with respect to ideas and how to choreograph the entire event. In short, they were awesome in every respect!

We had an incredible experience with Steve and Sway Chicago from the very beginning. Right off the bat they were incredible responsive, very informative, and made the entire planning process easy and seamless. We had several meetings to thoroughly talk through our vision, wants and needs for all of the music for our wedding day. On our actual wedding day, our emcee, Marcus, helped keep our timeline on track, did a great job introducing speeches, and brought the best vibe to the room. Once the dance floor opened, it remained packed all night long. We wish it would never end! Several days later and our family and friends are still talking about how talented the band was and how much fun was had. Hiring SWAY Chicago was one of the BEST decisions we made for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception at the Drake in Chicago! Our guests are still complimenting us on what a FUNNNN time they had, and how GREAT the party was and how entertaining the band was. We totally agree! (You know it's a great band when the dance floor is still packed at end of the night!) From the first time we met Steve Biossatt in his studio, he paid such close attention to what it was we envisioned for the night with regard to the music. He really listened! In the months before the wedding, Steve helped with planning and organizing the playlists for the cocktails, dinner and dancing hours that we wanted. (We even had a playlist for the DJ who played between the band sets!) Steve was always prompt in answering our questions and he communicated well with good input about what he honestly thought would work well. He is also really friendly, and very professional. Steve truly collaborated with the bride and groom to play the music they wanted all night long. Leading up to the night, SWAY and Steve even learned to play "their song," so the couple could dance to it while the band played it live at their reception! The evening of the wedding, Steve and SWAY really delivered! From the cocktails, through dinner, and right up to the dancing and for the rest of the night, Steve was a super emcee. He kept the timeline for cocktail hour, the champagne parade, food courses, announcements, and special dances all coordinated well with the wedding planner and banquet managers, so that we just relaxed and enjoyed the party. (Steve is so professional and kind; he makes it really easy for anyone to work with him.) That night, he and the band also really made an effort to be personal with our families and our guests, and that made our memories of the reception so special. THEY WERE TERRIFIC! We really can't thank them all enough!!! Because they are such talented musicians, and played such great music, we had an awesome party! We will give SWAY an excellent recommendation to anyone asking, and we will gladly hire SWAY and Steve to play for any future events we have

We hired Sway Chicago for my daughter's wedding. They are incredible. The dance floor was packed all night and our guests could not have had a better time. If you are thinking of hiring them- just do it! Seriously the most fun and talented group of musicians-plus nice people. They even played the bride's college fight song a la marching band style which was awesome! Cannot say enough about Sway Chicago.
