ho you trust can make that experience special. Jessica and I collaborated met in person and spoke online to get the vision for the day flushed out.
I really wanted to incorporate my handmade ceramics and husbands hand carved wooden candle stick holders as part of the design for the wedding table scape. Jessica made the most beautiful whimsical arrangements in the ceramic bowls I made!
I also wanted a unique floral installment for the ceremony and decided to DIY some large organza flowers and Jessica made a beautiful box design to go along the bottom! I ended up loving how everything looked it was such a fun and collaborative experience.
I highly recommend getting a mock up! I was able to get a glimpse of how the flowers would look day of and was so happy I did so.

r one. On my wedding day, she walked into my dressing room without introducing herself and rudely asked, “Where do you want these?” referring to my bouquets. She had been very polite and professional in our conversations leading up to the wedding, so her attitude took me by surprise. When I saw the bouquets, my heart sank because they were not the right color pink I wanted. I was still getting ready and with my ceremony only 2 hours away, I decided not to say anything since there wasn’t enough time to get new flowers and I had enough on my plate, so I politely told her they looked nice. Jessica did not have a friendly demeanor throughout my wedding day and that carried over into afterwards. When I returned from my Honeymoon, after battling with wether I should say anything to her or not, I decided to reach out to Jessica to let her know I was disappointed in the flowers and I requested a partial refund. Instead of reaching out to me via phone to discuss my concerns and diffuse the situation, she escalated it by exchanging emails in which she was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Eventually, we settled on her refunding me for my bouquet since I had specifically asked for roses and peonies only in my bouquet, but Jessica took the liberty of adding ranunculus as well which I had specifically asked her not to do prior to the wedding. Jessica does offer to complete a mock-up centerpiece prior to the wedding for an additional cost, but it was absurdly overpriced, so I declined since my colors of white and light pink were very straight forward (or so I thought), I had already sent her several photos and shared my Pinterest board with her to show examples of the light pink color I wanted, and I had told her my vision via our many phone/email conversations prior to the wedding day. I do not intend to be malicious and I struggled with whether I should post a negative review or not, but I wish I would have seen a review like this when initially shopping for a florist and this whole experience could have been avoided. The flowers were one of the most meaningful decorations for me, not to mention they were the most expensive item of my wedding aside from the venue. I hope this review helps a Bride To Be avoid a similar unpleasant experience on your wedding day.

at I wanted and our flowers turned out even better than I expected! Everything was so beautiful and seamless. One of the flowers even fell off my floral collar for my dog when he shook his head really hard, and she was able to fix it on the spot. She was also able to create unique pieces for each to the groomsmen for their boutonnières, so that they weren't exactly matching but still had a cohesive look. We talked on the phone soon after I first reached out to her so that she could find out exactly what I wanted and needed…my wedding colors, what I like and don’t like in floral arrangements, her recommendations, and then she provide me with beautiful photos of what she would provide for my wedding and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Come our wedding day, everything came out exactly as I had dreamed it - colors, texture, and all. I loved everything!
Our wedding was originally set to have about 100 guests but due to COVID 19 we had to change our entire wedding plans. Less than a month before our date, we decided to get married in my parent’s backyard with about 40 guests. Jessica was flexible and so professional with me as we navigated making MANY adjustments. Despite the global pandemic, Jessica and her team delivered.

It was such a dream come true and was exactly what I was imagining in my head! It tied the entire wedding together and looked so soft and magical which is just what I wanted. I just pinned some pictures of floral arrangements to my Pinterest, she reviewed them and created a concept board with suggestions to enhance the design and we met to discuss what my husband and I liked and didn't like. On the day of our wedding, the flowers looked beautiful! SWD Floral delivered and set up everything on time, was very professional, and was able to adapt to last minute changes. Not knowing my father is from a small town called Little Rock in Arkansas called Cotton Plant! She added cotton plant to my bouquets because I was having a Fall wedding! This little spark of ingenious made my wedding that much more memorable! This past year in 2019 my mother passed away from her battle with breast cancer. We didn't do any mock ups or even provide examples of what we excepted yet Jessica was able to "read our minds" and deliver on awesome arrangements for our big day.
She was able to re-purpose arrangements from ceremony/cocktail hour to reception in order to help us stay on-budget. Our guests loved the arrangements so much that they walked out with the centerpieces- good thing we decided to pay for the flower containers ahead of time ;)

When we had our first meeting to talk floral designs for our Labor Day weekend wedding, she listened intently to what we like, what we prefer to avoid (my husband didn't want anything "pokey" and that became a running inside joke) and also listened and was very conscious about our budget. She never told us no, instead she provided options based on our budget. When we arrived at our venue the day of our wedding, we were blown away with what she had created! She not only handled all of the arrangements, she also put together our Chuppah and draped all of the fabric.
My bouquet was breathtaking and my bridesmaids' bouquets matched perfectly. Not only was she so much fun throughout but she also remained very professional - even when she had to build large arrangements in 100 degree weather. We got married this past LDW at the Ebell in Long Beach.
