nning process. Since this was my first wedding and had no practice throwing this kind of event before, Erica was my north star. Her contribution to the day extended beyond the scope of just photography. She helped us put together our timeline, answer all of our questions, and really got to know us. We couldn't arrange an engagement shoot due to my and my husband's schedule, so Erica was thoughtful in getting to know us remotely so that things felt easy on our wedding day. Before we know it the day had come and I was honestly so excited for her to arrive at our Airbnb. When she arrived I wanted to sit and chat over a cup of coffee but she got straight to it, captured the entire day, helped us set up our first looks, and was so easy to work with. We thought we were camera shy and would be uncomfortable doing our portraits. But when it came to it, Erica and her second photographer Debbie, made us look and feel good. They were so sweet, listened to our apprehensions and fears, and eased them all. They both coached us with a gentle hand into our photos and boy, do we look freaking good!!  The Sweet Alice team was so great with our families, they were truly a joy to work with. We dragged our loved ones outside in January to get some nature photos and Erica helped them stay warm (she brought hand warmers for everyone!), reminded people to stand tall in the cold, and helped get the shot quickly so folks could get back inside. After our family photos, we wanted the rest of our event to feel less posed and more candid. Erica and Debbie were incredible, never asked for a posed shot but I'm sure captured the rest of the day beautifully. We are so excited for the gallery to come. There has not been a day since the wedding when my husband and I haven't gushed over the sneak peek photos. She really cares about people.

to our wedding day, Erica had such a calming presence that was very needed during the stressful wedding planning process. We had such confidence in her and her work, she was the last person that we needed to worry about on our wedding day. We had so much fun going out onto the venue's grounds and taking our couples photos. Erica made us feel so good about ourselves that we felt like we could go book a modeling job afterwards. Our photos were amazing and she worked so hard to make sure we had sneak peeks ready by the morning after our wedding. We had the most amazing wedding day and Erica was able to capture all of that in her photos. only regret is not meeting her sooner!! From the first meeting we felt a sense of relief and comfort as she was not only a great guide about the process, but took the time to get to know my husband and I so we felt like friends coming together for a special project! Erica is the most supportive while being responsive, detailed and, of course, taking INCREDIBLE shots. I mean we were stunned by the sneak peeks!! Lily, her second shooter, was also wonderful and it was clear the two of them had a great, cohesive vision for the day which made everything seamless. Because of them, the day felt so fun and full of laughter. Erica was so encouraging and supportive during photos that one of my bridesmaids jokingly asked her 'Are you a therapist? Because I have never felt so good about myself!' Our day would not have ever been the same without Erica and Lily. When we look at these drop-dead gorgeous photos, we will remember how amazing the day was but we also always remember the two of them right there beside us as our hilarious, fun cheerleaders (I'm getting teary just thinking about it). irst meeting with her via Zoom and we were instantly sold. We had met with a few other photographers, but no one made we feel at ease like Erica did. Erica has a bright and calming energy. We knew she would be a positive influence on our day but would also be able to take control and get us the photos we wanted. We ended up getting married on a gorgeous but bathroomless flower farm and got ready in an ugly rented RV. Somehow even that ugly RV looks beautiful in the getting ready photos! Seriously! Erica is so sweet and joyful, and we are SO glad that she was there to capture every moment of our wedding day for us. Posing for photos can be so awkward, but she made us feel at ease. It was so much fun! We were laughing and smiling the whole time! She had so many great ideas for poses and was open to our suggestions as well. We are literally obsessed with all of our photos! Her professionalism, talent, kindness, and creativity is matched by none. We are not exaggerating at all when we say we were blown away by her every step of the way. No regrets in hiring her at all. I knew that I wanted Erica to be our wedding photographer before we were even engaged, and when the day came and the planning commenced she was the VERY first person I reached out to because there was no way I was going to miss the opportunity to get to work with her! Our very first zoom call in 2019 solidified for me just how truly great Erica is and for my husband too. We picked our original 2020 wedding date based on Erica's availability and when we had to postpone our wedding because of the pandemic, we picked our new date based on her availability because there was no way either one of us wanted to not have Erica with us on our wedding day. Have I mentioned how gracious she is?! Not only was she overly understanding of our postponement, she made us feel so okay and at peace with our choice and when our original wedding day was upon us she offered her services to us in case we wanted to elope, my goodness she is just the SWEETEST. If you're nervous about being in front of Erica's camera don't be, it's like being with an old friend talking and laughing makes for the most beautiful photographs because we were so comfortable! Erica radiates happiness, cheer and love! Erica was so great at checking in, making sure everything was going okay, to see if we needed help or recommendations with anything, always making herself available. She always answered any question or crazy thought so quickly and when I asked her for some vendor recommendations she was more than happy to pass some along! Any time we had a phone call, zoom meeting or email check in, just talking to Erica gave myself and my husband such calmness and reassurance that everything was going fine and that the wedding day would be fantastic and go smoothly! Erica listened to everything we spoke about from day one, most importantly she understood how important family is to both my husband and I, so much so that she allotted us an entire hour of family photos on our wedding day to ensure we got all the family photos that were important to us and our hearts are beyond grateful for this. We felt such a calmness on our wedding day knowing that Erica was with us and would ensure that all the important moments would happen and be captured. Erica had sneak peak photos to us the morning after the wedding and we were blown away at how beautiful they were and we are SO excited to see the entire gallery when it's ready, we know it is going to be incredible. From the minute I looked at Erica’s website I was hooked. I loved the way she put herself out there and I felt like I already knew Erica without ever speaking to her. We scheduled a zoom to connect and the second we ended the call I turned to my fiancé and said we need to book ASAP. I went into wedding planning with little to no idea what I was doing. The one thing I was adamant about was that I wanted to surround myself with the right people/energy on this special day. My husband loves her and so do both of our families. From our first Zoom call, I knew I wanted her to photograph our wedding and my husband felt the same. It was so important for us to keep her as a vendor for our large wedding reception because she became so meaningful to us and special in our lives! Okay, okay... you're probably thinking, 'What about the pictures?' The pictures are PHENOMENAL! Erica looks up what time sunset is on the day of your engagement photos and wedding photos so that she knows exactly when to capture that golden hour lighting (if that's what you want). She tells you how to pose, which to most people can feel awkward, but she makes it feel so natural and makes you laugh, so that these poses don't feel strange to anyone. My husband hates taking pictures and she was able to capture some of the best pictures of him and I together. She captured beautiful sunset photos from our wedding day and we're DYING to see the rest. In addition, Erica brought another photographer on our wedding day who was just as sweet and nice as she was! They were both extremely knowledgeable regarding poses, lighting, etc. and it really made for some great pictures! We have loved every picture Erica has taken of us from our engagement photos to our elopement pictures and ultimately, our wedding day photos. Even if you feel insecure about something while she's taking your photos, I can GUARANTEE that your photos will come out beautiful. Erica knows what she's doing behind the lens and she is phenomenal at what she does. I can guarantee that if you choose her for your wedding day, you will not be disappointed.
