Sweet and Savory is a great caterer. They offer lots of options and are very helpful in helping you figure out what works best for your budget. We also had none traditional table numbers and they had absolutely no problem with it.

Our catering experience was fantastic from start to finish. The team was incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process — responsive, flexible, organized, and genuinely invested in making our vision come to life.
We decided to do an ice cream bar instead of a traditional wedding cake, and they executed it perfectly. It was such a fun and personal touch for our wedding, and our guests absolutely loved it. People are still talking about how unique and memorable it was!
The food itself was also amazing and received so many compliments throughout the night. Everything was delicious, well-presented, and ran so smoothly behind the scenes.

working and communicative all throughout the process. The food was absolutely incredible and an amazing part of our wedding day! We have received so many compliments on the incredible food from cocktail hour, to dinner and our late night snack (the popcorn bar!). It was all amazing, down to the smallest detail.
I want to especially call out their detailed care for our guests with allergies/dietary restrictions - including myself as the bride needing things gluten free. They provided specialized information regarding the dietary restrictions of all the items throughout the day, which we communicated to our guests, and they were easily able to navigate throughout all the food items.
They were efficient and thorough with set-up/tear down, placement of linens/plates/utensils and caring for the tables throughout the night. All the staff was wonderful to work with - kind, attentive and helpful.
Leading up to the wedding we had an initial meeting (before booking) and our individual tasting session - in each meeting they took their time to work with us as much as needed, guide us in the process, and have thorough conversation to ensure all our wishes were met. It gave me such peace of mind to know all would be taken care of - and it was even better than I could have imagined! Across many, many communications for every detail over phone and email, they were prompt and helpful.

Abigail and her team were innovative, communicative, and so supportive throughout the whole wedding process. Abigail was so flexible with me as I was an out of town bride and she helped make sure I felt on top of tasks and could do as many items in person as possible!
For our wedding, everything was spectacular! The food was such a hit from ALL the guests! Our appetizers were incredible, the main courses were so great (and we had a dish that wasn't traditionally a part of their large wedding plated menu), and the late night snack was a huge hit! I am so happy that I could be confident in my catering team going into the wedding and even happier that the reviews from guests have not stopped about Sweet and Savory! We had a tasting before booking them where we had grilled chicken with sun-dried tomato and lemon, farm-fresh sautéed vegetables, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, and a salad. The appetizers, main course, and dessert were all incredible. Every one of our guests was amazed at the food when we went around to each table. Sweet & Savory also helped set up the event and laid out the table settings perfectly. They were open to all of the things we wanted to do, including a tequila shot seating chart. They brought my bridesmaids and I a champagne toast before walking down the aisle and checked on my husband and I the entire night. I cannot say enough good things about them, hiring Sweet & Savory was the best decision we made about our wedding. Every vendor we worked with was familiar with them and had nothing but wonderful things to say.

The food was DELICIOUS, so many guests approached us saying that they truly enjoyed their meal! They orchestrated our champagne toast and cake cutting, too. Finally, they were extremely responsive to emails before the wedding and continually sent us updated quotes whenever needed. I could not recommend them enough.

ed by listening to the things that we each like in our foods and our style of eating. The team was really easy to work with and made us feel like they cared about our wedding, not just making a profit off of us. Other caterers we spoke with wanted to nickel and dime us on everything. Sweet and savory were the exact opposite and even let us borrow some of their serving trays for our donut dessert table (that we didn't use them for). They don't do all the extra fees that caterers tack on. We chose to have our food served family style and the food got out to each table incredibly quickly, especially considering our venue had 2 floors of tables. Additionally, I was told by more guests than I kept track of that our wedding food was hands down the best wedding food they have ever had. It was absolutely amazing and we would definitely work with them again if we have any other events needing catering.

They were great to work with from start to finish, and the mini BLT appetizers were ridiculously popular with our guests :)
The only negative we experienced was that we asked to add water glasses and pitchers to our guest tables a couple of weeks before the wedding, and we ended up paying an additional $400 for this by the time they added rental cost, delivery cost, and an extra server to refill the pitchers throughout the night. It was just an extra cost that we weren't expecting.
Overall, Sweet and Savory had great food, great people to work with, and we would definitely recommend!

On top of everything, Melissa sent us the coolest wedding gift too which we weren't even expecting! Sweet and Savory's menu is awesome with everything you can imagine to choose from. We loved that our menu represented us as a couple and gave our guests a variety of options. I would highly recommend Sweet and Savory to anyone looking for the best possible food and service at their wedding reception. I really feel like I know Melissa now and gained a friend through this whole process. I am hoping to get to work with Sweet and Savory again in the future!

My fiance and I LOVED the menu we put together with Melissa, and at first it seemed like a perfect fit but after a month went by without receiving any sort of further communication...
(a quote, any acknowledgement of or response to emails, etc.) we got a little frustrated and offered two more weeks to respond before moving on to a new catering option.
We received an immediate response apologizing for the delay but after that, we again didn't hear anything back for two more weeks so we moved on to a different option - due to the lack of communication.
I would have loved to have worked with Sweet & Savory, especially since it is a company that is actively promoted by my wedding venue, but if a company can't even be bothered to respond to win your business initially, I can't imagine the headache it would be to try and get a response after being locked in with a contract.

The three stars are because after we gave them our down payment the communication and customer service dropped significantly. They were apologetic about their weeks of not responding, but it happened multiple times and it was nerve wrecking while planning a wedding.
We had to re-do the menu multiple times because things kept being missed (and totals), the cake tasting we were given was not exactly what we asked for, and the salads were not set at the table as promised. The vegetarian option that was served as also different than discussed. We also had to call her almost every day for a week before our wedding to give final payment.
The food was delicious, the servers were great, but the office customer service was an unnecessary headache. If they would hire extra staff I think they'd be worth using.
